How do I assemble the hand blender?

Insert the blending shaft into the motor unit until it clicks. For whisking, attach the whisk to the shaft connector. Always ensure the appliance is unplugged before assembling.

What is the maximum operating time?

Do not operate continuously for more than 1 minute. Allow the motor to cool for at least 2 minutes before next use to prevent overheating.

Can I blend hot liquids?

Yes, but let liquids cool to below 80°C to avoid splashing and damaging the shaft. Start at low speed and gradually increase.

How do I clean the hand blender?

Detach the shaft and whisk. Wash them in warm soapy water or the dishwasher (top rack). Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth – never immerse it in water.

What should I do if the blender stops working?

Check if the safety lock is engaged (buttons must be pressed correctly). If it overheated, unplug and let it cool for 15 minutes. If the problem persists, contact Gorenje support.

Is the blender suitable for crushing ice?

No, this hand blender is not designed for crushing ice. Use only for soft foods and liquids.

Can I use the blender without the beaker?

Yes, you can blend directly in pots or bowls, but ensure the shaft is fully submerged to avoid splashing.

How do I replace the whisk or shaft?

Press the release button on the motor unit to detach the current attachment. Then click the new one into place until it locks.

What is the voltage requirement?

The blender operates on 220-240 V, 50-60 Hz. Check your local supply before use.

Where can I get spare parts?

Univerzalna sjeckalica

Upotrebljavamo je za rezanje začinskih biljaka, luka, voća i povrća, leda, tvrdih sireva i mesa.

Upozorenje! Mesu prije rezanja odstranite žile, kosti i hrskavicu. Univerzalna sjeckalica nije prikladna za usitnjavanje zrnaca kave ili hrena.

• Sjeckalicu (6) postavite na glatku, čistu radnu površinu i pritisnite nadolje.
• Umetnite nož (7).
  • U posudu stavite hranu (8).
• Na univerzalnu sjeckalicu stavite nastavak i okrenite ga u smjeru kazaljki na satu do kraja.
• Priključite aparat na nastavak i tijekom rezanja ga čvrsto pritiskajte nadolje.
• Priključite utikač u utičnicu.
• Uhvatite aparat i sjeckalicu i pritisnite tipku za uključenje (2). Možete koristiti gumb za podešavanje brzine (4) ili gumb za brzo djelovanje.

Koristi se za rezanje začinskih biljaka, luka, voća i povrća, leda, tvrdih sireva i mesa.

• Seckalicu (6) postavite na glatku, čistu radnu površinu i pritisnite nadole.

  • U posudu stavite hranu (8).
• Na univerzalnu seckalicu stavite nastavak i okrenite ga u smeru kazaljki na časovniku do kraja.
• Priključite aparat na nastavak i tokom rezanja ga čvrsto pritiskajte nadole.
  • Uštekajte utikač u utičnicu.

Uhvatite aparat i seckalicu i pritisnite tipku za paljenje (2). Možete da koristite dugme za regulisanje brzine (4) ili dugme za brzo delovanje.

Korišćenje metlice

Pre no što priključite metlicu na glavnu jedinicu proverite, dali je aparat priključen na električnu mrežu.

• Umetnite metlicu (11) u jedinicu za mešanje i okrenite je u smeru kazaljki na časovniku do kraja.
• Priključite utikač u dozu.
  • Stavite namirnice u posudu.
• Uvatite aparat i posudu, te pritisnite tipku za uključenje (2). Možete da koristite dugme za regulisanje brzine (4), ili dugme za brzo delovanje.
• Za mešanje koristite čašu ili neku drugu prikladnu posudu.

Čišćenje

Upozorenje ! Aparat ne uranjajte u vodu, niti ne smete da ga perete u mašini za pranje sudova.

• Izvucite utikač iz utičnice.
• Aparat obrišite vlažnom, a zatim i suvom krpom.
• Posudu za mešanje smete da perete u mašini za sudove.
• Nastavak za mešanje operite u mašini za sudove ili pomoću četke pod tekućom vodom.
• Nastavak ostavite u vertikalnom položaju (s nožem miksera okrenutim nagore), da iz njega iscuri sva voda i da se osuši.

How to use

This hand blender is a household appliance and is not intended for commercial use. Use it for processing of food in the usual quantities for domestic use.

Store these instructions in a safe place and pass them on in case the appliance changes hands.

Before first use, wipe of the handle of the blender with a damp cloth.

Important safeguards

When using electrical appliances, in order to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

• Read all instructions carefully, even if you are familiar with the appliance.
• To protect against the risk of electric shock DO NOT IMMERSE the appliance, Cordset or Plug in water or other liquid.
  • To clean, wipe exterior with a damp cloth.

• Never leave an appliance unattended when in use.

• Switch off and remove the plug from the power outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp plug and pull from power outlet. Never pull cord.

• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the complete appliance to your nearest authorised service facility for examination, electrical repair, mechanical repair or adjustment.
• The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by this appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
• Do not overfull.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of a table, counter, or touch hot surface.
• Avoid touching hot surfaces, use handles and knobs.
• Do not operate or place any part of this appliance on or near any hot surface (such as a gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven).
• Do not abuse the cord. Never carry the appliance by the cord or yank it to disconnect it from the outlet; instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
• When using the extension cord with your appliance make sure the extension cord is correctly wired and rated for its use.
• This product is intended for household use only.
• Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself; instead, take it your nearest Service Centre or Authorised Service Agent for repair.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Handle carefully the sharp blades especially during removing and emptying the container and during cleaning.

This appliance is marked according to the European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). This guideline is the frame of a European-wide validity of return and recycling on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

Handling the appliance

The appliance is used for mixing mayonnaise, gravy, shakes, baby food, and for chopping onions, ice, cooked fruit and vegetables.

Caution! Hand blender is not suitable for the preparation of mashed potatoes.

• Unwind the power lead to the end.
• Attach the blending device to the appliance (5).
• Plug the power lead to the mains socket.
• Insert food into the beaker or any other suitable bowl.
• Grip both the blender and the bowl. To prevent splashing first dip the blender blade into the food and then press the ON button (2 or 3).

Caution! When finished first switch the blender off and then lift it from the bowl.

Universal chopper

It is used for chopping herbs, onions, fruit, vegetables, ice, hard cheese and meat.

Caution! Before chopping meat remove tendon, gristle and bone tissue. Universal chopper is not suitable for chopping coffee beans or horse radish.

• Place the appliance (6) on flat, solid worktop and press it downwards.
• Insert the blade (7).
• Put food in the beaker (8).

• Place the extension over the chopper and turn it in the clockwise direction till it engages.

• Connect the appliance to the extension and keep it firmly pressed down during operation.

• Plug the power lead into the mains socket.
• Hold the appliance and the chopper and push the start button (2). Use speed control knob to select a speed or press the turbo button.

Using the beater

Before connecting the beater onto the motor unit make sure the blender is disconnected from the electrical outlet. Insert the whisk (11) by grasping into the beater body (10). Screw the beating attachment to the main unit by turning counter clockwise. Insert the plug into a standart electrical outlet. Place the ingredients to be mixed in the bowl. Press the on/off button. Use the speed control knob to select a speed or press the turbo button.

You cam use the beaker (12) or another container for beating.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Caution! Do not immerse the appliance in water and do not wash it in the dishwasher.

• Unplug the power lead from the mains socket.
• Wipe the appliance first with damp and then with dry cloth.
• The beaker may be washed in the dishwasher.
• Wash the blending device in the dishwasher or manually with a brush under running water.
• After washing leave it standing upright (with the blade up) to drip and to dry.

Remark: During the processing of vegetables with aggressive coloring, e.g. red cabbage, plastic parts may be subject to discoloration. This may be removed by rubbing such surfaces with a few drops of cooking oil.

Cleaning of the universal chopper

Do not immerse the chopper accessory in water and do not wash it in the dishwasher.

• Unplug the power lead from the mains socket.
• Release the appliance from the accessory.
• Turn the cover in the anti-clockwise direction and remove it.
• Hold the blade by the plastic extension and remove it.

The chopper and the blade may be washed in the dishwasher, while the cover extension may only be wiped with damp cloth.

Environment

Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the environment.
