03. BEFORE USE
- It is recommended to use original micro SD cards of class 10 or higher.
- Before inserting the card into the recorder, it must be formatted in the computer in the FAT32 or exFAT file system (depending on the card) and then in the recorder.
- The memory card must be installed when the device is switched off. Failure to do so may damage the card and the device. The same applies when removing the card.
- A fully charged battery allows recording without power for up to 5 minutes. The battery in the unit is mainly used to maintain the recorder settings.
- When the memory card fills up, the oldest unprotected recordings will be overwritten if the LOOP RECORDING function is activated.
- Make sure that motion detection and parking mode are switched off while driving to avoid the device switching on and off on its own, e.g. when stopping at an intersection or driving on uneven ground and thus losing memory card space. Switching on these modes is recommended only when leaving the vehicle parked.
- Sound: the device has a condenser microphone that records all ambient sounds. Sounds may overlap causing distortion.

SEE FIGURE F
- Insert the memory card into the camera.
- Attach the camera to the rear-view mirror.
- Attach the camera using the rubber bands provided.
- Route the power cable and secondary camera cable.
- Connect the power cable and secondary camera cable.
- Plug the power supply into the cigarette lighter socket.
The location of the secondary camera depends on your preference. The camera meets IP67 waterproof standards (completely dustproof and protected against immersion in water - max. 30 minutes at a depth of up to 1 metre).
MOUNTING OF AN AUXILIARY CAMERA AS A REVERSING CAMERA:
- Plug the black cable of the secondary camera into the AVIN port on the main unit, then drag it to the secondary camera location and connect. Ensure that the main unit can see the secondary camera (if not, check that the cable is correctly inserted into both ports).
- Connect the wires coming from the auxiliary camera to the reverse light supply wires (red=plus). Connecting in this way will allow it to be used as a reversing camera.
- The outdoor installation should be well insulated and should not be mechanically stressed.
06. GETTING STARTED
- Mount and connect the camera to the power supply.
- Insert a micro SD memory card formatted to the FAT32 or exFAT file system (depending on the type).
NOTE: Please only insert and remove the memory card when the device is switched off. - Set in the menu:
a. date and time
b. Loop recording (adjust recording time)
c. set the highest resolution available
d. set the G-Sensor to the lowest possible sensitivity so that the camera does not pick up bumps on the road and protect your recordings unnecessarily
- Make sure that PARKING MODE and MOVEMENT DETECTION are turned off. If they are left on during normal use they will unnecessarily save recordings
and reduce the space on the memory card.
Switching on parking mode is only recommended when leaving the vehicle parked, and can be quickly switched on and off in recording mode using the icon on the home screen.
- The camera will start recording automatically every time you switch it on (provided there is no permanent power supply in your car's cigarette lighter socket).
07. MAIN FEATURES OF THE CAMERA
1. Camera modes
The camera has 3 modes of operation.
a. Recording mode: in this mode, the camera records video.
b. Photo mode: in this mode, the camera takes photos.
c. Playback mode: view footage recorded by the camera.
2. Loop recording
Setting the recording time (length) of the video files, when the memory card fills up the oldest recording will be overwritten.
3. Resolution
The camera can record in several resolutions. The higher the resolution, the better the quality of the recordings, but the files will also take up more space on the memory card. It is recommended to use the highest resolution available.
4. G-Sensor
Gravity sensor. When the sensor is activated on impact, the recording file is protected from being overwritten. It is recommended that the lowest available value is set, as at a higher value the camera may pick up bumps caused by uneven road surfaces, which can cause the memory card to fill up.
5. Parking mode
When enabled, the camera catches a jolt from the car (for example during a parking bump), turns on and starts recording a short video protected from overwriting. It is advisable to switch this function off for the duration of the drive, as it may block loop recording.
Note: to ensure that the camera properly records a full-length recording, leave it under a constant power source.
6. Motion detection
This mode starts recording when the camera detects movement (e.g. a person in front of the vehicle). The function only works when the camera is not recording and is connected to power. The recordings are not protected against overwriting.
7. Audio recording
Along with video recording, the camera can also record audio.
8. Reversing camera
The additional camera can be used as a reversing camera. When properly connected, the image will automatically switch to the view from the additional camera when reverse gear is engaged.
