SLOW JUICER
What is a slow juicer?
This kind of juice extractors is provided with a low (80-90 r/min) screw rotation speed juicing technology, with power consumption of about 150 W. Such juice extractors are called «slow juicers», but don't be misled by this name, the slow juicer extracts juice faster and with higher juice extraction rate, than regular juice extractors. The spiral screw chops the product, then pushes the chopped pulp through the filter, extracting juice; thanks to this technology the extracted juice retains more phytonutrients* contained in pigmented fruits and vegetables. Low screw rotation speed (80-90 r/min) and low product temperature while chopping preserve inner cellular structure of ferments, microelements and vitamins in the extracted juice.
* The term «phytonutrients» comes from the Greek word «phyto» («plant») and «nutrient» («food component that is necessary for normal functioning of body»). Phytonutrients are also known as phytochemicals, i.e. natural biologically active components of vegetable products.

- Disassemble the juicer. Wash all removable parts with warm water and a neutral detergent, then rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Place the unit on a flat stable and dry surface away from sources of heat, moisture, open flame and direct sunlight.
Assembling the unit
Important! Make sure that silicone gasket (14) is set properly in the bottom part of the processing bowl (4). The silicone gasket must seal the pulp channel tightly, otherwise leakage of juice/water from the bowl may cause damage to the unit. The gasket (14) has ledges along the base perimeter for secure fitting.
When cleaning the unit remove the silicone gasket.
If water or juice gets into the motor unit, switch the unit off and apply to the authorized service center.
- Set the processing bowl (4) on the motor unit (1), matching the “unlocked” symbols on the bowl and the motor unit, then turn the bowl clockwise with a slight effort till the «locked» symbols match each other.
- Install the separator (5) into the processing bowl (4).
- Install the mesh filter (6) into the processing bowl, matching the marks (red dots) ● on the mesh and processing bowl (4).
Note: Do not use the slow juicer, if there is any mechanical damage of the mesh filter (6).
- Install the screw (7) into the mesh (6), applying little effort; turn it slightly to provide secure fitting if necessary.
- Install the lid (8) on the processing bowl (4), matching the marks ● on the lid and the bowl, then turn the lid clockwise until clicking, so that the lock (9) arrow points at the symbol 🔒.
Important! Before switching the unit on, make sure that all parts are installed properly. Do not switch the unit on without food.
Fruit, vegetables and berries intended for processing must be fresh.
- Before juice extraction remove inedible parts from vegetables or fruits, such as stems, hard peel or stones, for example, of cherry or peach.
- Wash fruit/vegetables and cut them into pieces matching the feeding chute (10).
- Place the unit on a flat stable surface.
- Place the containers (12, 13) under the juice and pulp outlets.
Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
- Switch the slow juicer on by setting the switch (3) to the ON position.
Note:
The unit will be switched on only if all the removable parts are installed properly, and the lid (8) is fixed with the lock (9).
ENGLISH
Operation mode switch (3) position
«ON» – power is on.
«O» – power is off.
«REV» – changing of the screw rotation direction. The «REV» mode is used only when the screw (7) is blocked. The screw may be blocked if the unit is overloaded with products. To switch to this mode turn the unit off, then press and hold the switch (3) in the position «REV». Use this operation mode for 2-3 seconds. If the problem still remains, disassemble the unit, clean it and reassemble.
- Feed the products into the feeding chute (10), only when the screw (7) and separator (5) are rotating.
- Put the precut vegetables or fruits into the feeding chute (10) gradually and push them slightly with the pusher (11). Do not press on the pusher (11) hardly as it can decrease the amount of extracted juice and even stop the screw (7) rotation. The slower is the fruit and vegetables processing, the higher is the juice extraction rate.
- Do not put your fingers or any other foreign objects into the feeding chute (10).
- While operation check the mesh filter (6) for obstruction periodically and wash the mesh filter (6), if necessary. Before removing the filter switch the unit off and unplug it.
- Control the pulp container and juice cup filling, if the container is full, switch the juicer off, unplug it and remove the pulp or pour the juice out from the container.
Attention! The maximal continuous operation time is 30 minutes with a 10-15 minute subsequent break.
Self-clean function
If you need to clean the unit before extracting juice from another type of food, use the self-clean function.
- Switch the unit on and pour a glass of water into the feeding chute (10). Most pulp will be removed.
- Switch the unit off and replace the juice cup.
- Clean the unit completely after every usage (see chapter «CLEANING AND CARE»).
TIPS
- Use only fresh fruits and vegetables, as they contain more juice.
- For juice extraction you can use different vegetables - such as carrots, cucumbers, beets, celery stems, spinach, tomatoes or fruits - such as apples, grapes, pineapples.
- It is recommended to wash berries right before juicing, as they lose freshness quickly.
- It is not necessary to remove thin peel from fruits or vegetables, remove thick peel only, for example, from pineapples and beet.
- When extracting apple juice remember that its richness depends on the apple sort.
- Choose the apple sort, from which you can make juice according to your taste.
- Remove the stones from the fruit, as they can damage the unit.
- For better taste and diet purposes you can extract juice from lettuce, spinach, fresh herbs and soy.
- The juicer construction enables to keep maximal amount of nutrients, that's why the juice is cloudy.
- Drink the juice right after you made it. The juice loses its taste and nutrition value during long air storage.
- We recommend to wash down vegetable juice because its concentration is very high.
- Apple juice gets dark quickly, but adding a few drops of lemon juice slows down the process of juice darkening.
- If you keep juice in the refrigerator, pour it into a clean covered bowl to prevent absorbing smell of other foods stored in the refrigerator. It is not recommended to keep juice in a metal container, as the juice can acquire corresponding flavor.
- Do not use slow juicer for processing fruits with high content of starch or pectin, such as bananas, papaya, avocado, figs, apricots, mango, red and black currants. You can use these fruit in slow amounts with other vegetables and fruits; in this case clean the mesh filter more often.
- The slow juicer is not intended for processing extra hard or fibrous fruits or vegetables, such as coconuts, rhubarb or quince.
