How do I turn on the scale?

The scale turns on automatically when you step onto the platform. It will turn off after a few seconds of inactivity.

Why does the display show 'Lo'?

'Lo' indicates low battery. Replace the two AAA batteries with new ones.

What does 'Err' or 'Overload' mean?

This means the weight exceeds the maximum capacity of 180 kg. Remove the weight immediately to avoid damage.

Can I change the weight unit?

Yes. Press the unit button on the back or bottom of the scale to switch between kg, lb, and st.

The scale shows inconsistent readings. What should I do?

Ensure the scale is on a flat, hard surface and not on carpet. Remove the batteries for 10 seconds, then reinsert them. If the problem persists, calibrate by stepping on and off the scale twice.

How do I clean the scale?

Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the glass platform and body. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.

Can I use the scale on carpet?

For best accuracy, use the scale on a hard, flat surface like tile or wood. Carpet may cause inaccurate readings.

Why does the scale display '0.0' before stepping on?

This is normal. The scale calibrates itself to zero. Wait for the display to show '0.0' before stepping on.

Is the scale waterproof?

No. The scale is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to moisture or liquids. Clean only with a damp cloth.

What type of batteries does the scale use?

The scale requires two 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries. Replace them when the low battery icon appears.

Warning: The safety instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating this product.

We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, or the modification or adjustment of any part of the appliance.

To avoid injuries, basic precautions shall always be taken, including the following:

1. Digital bathroom scale is intended for domestic use only.
2. All servicing should be done by qualified service center!
3. Do not use close to devices, which generate an electromagnetic field. Place the scale far enough from such a device to limit mutual interference.
4. The result value is only for orientation. This product is not a medical scale. Always consult a physician for prescription drugs and diets to reach your optimum weight.
5. Do not insert any objects in the openings of the device.
6. The scale can be used for weighing people from ages 10 and up.
7. Household pets should not be weighed on the scale.
8. Protect the scale against falling and shocks and do not jump on the scale.
9. You or the device can slip on a wet surface. Keep balance on the scale during the weighing process and do not stand on the edge of the scale on a flat surface either.
10. Use the scale only in accordance with the instructions given in this manual.
11. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by the improper use of this device.
12. This scale is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced sensory, physical or mental capabilities, or lacking experience and knowledge for safe use of the scale, unless they are under supervision or unless they are instructed in the use of this scale by a person responsible for their safety. Children must be under supervision to ensure that they would not play with the scale.

Attention

1. Always take off your shoes and socks before weighing yourself.
2. We recommend weighing yourself every day at the same time.
3. The results of the weighing may be misleading after an intense exercise, diet or at extremely high temperatures.
4. Do not expose the scale to impacts, shocks and do not allow the scale to fall to the ground. The scale is an accurate device which must be carefully handled.
5. Do not use the scale commercially.

Battery

The device is powered by 3 1.5V AAA batteries. Please, remove the insulating foil from the battery contacts before use.

If you do not manage to switch the scale on, check if the batteries are inserted and if they are not empty. Insert the batteries again or replace them.

Insert/Replace batteries

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the scale.
2. Remove the discharged batteries, use a suitable object if necessary.
3. Insert new batteries, always first with one end, then push down the other end. Close the cover of the battery compartment. Make sure the polarity is correct.

WEIGHT MEASUREMENT

1. In order to achieve accurate results, the scale should be placed on a flat, hard and stable surface and placing it on a carpet or other soft surfaces should be avoided. Ensure before weighing that there is no foreign object under the scale.
2. Press briefly on the centre of the weighing area to turn on the scale. "0.0" appears on the display.
3. Step on to the scale carefully. Stand evenly on the scale, do not move and wait until the weight indicator on the display stabilizes.

Warning:

The glass surface becomes slippery when wet. Keep dry!

Automatic shut off

The device automatically turns off when you step off the scale. The automatic shutdown occurs in the event that the display shows "0.0" or when it shows the same weight for about 8 seconds.

Switching between the measurement units

You can switch between the measurement units (kilograms/pounds/stones) following way:

1. Locate the switch on the bottom of the scale.
2. When the scale is switched off, press the button for switching between the units. The LCD display shows which unit was just used. Change the unit by pressing the button again.

WARNINGS

1. Discharged battery warning: If the battery is dead, the display shows the symbol "LO". In that case, replace the battery.
2. Overload: If you load more than the allowable weight limit, the symbol "ERR" appears on the display.

If the display shows an error or if the scale does not switch off for a long time, please, remove the battery for about 3 seconds and then reinsert it. If this does not resolve the problem, please ask your vendor for advice on how to fix your issue.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Use wet cloth to clean the scale and take care that water does not get inside the scale. DO NOT USE chemical cleaning agents/agents with abrasive effect. Do not immerse the device into water!

USE AND DISPOSAL OF WASTE

Wrapping paper and corrugated paperboard – deliver to scrapyard. Packing foil, PE bags, plastic elements – throw into plastic recycling containers.

WARRANTY: The following situations void the warranty:

Incorrect or inappropriate handling of the device, failure to observe the safety precautions that apply to the appliance, use of force, alteration or repair by a party other than an authorized service center.

Components subject to normal wear and tear are not covered under the warranty.

DISPOSAL OF PRODUCTS AT THE END OF LIFETIME

Disposal of electric and electronic equipment (valid in EU member countries and other European countries with an implemented recycling system)

The represented symbol on the product or package means the product shall not be treated as domestic waste. Hand over the product to the specified location for recycling electric and electronic equipment. Prevent negative impacts on human health and the environment by properly recycling your product. 1. Otvorite poklopac pretinca za baterije s donje strane vage.
