Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions.
Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance. Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.
☐ Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
☐ Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. If it is damaged it should be repaired by a competent qualified electrician (1). If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an identical power cord or a cord similar to the original one and showing the same characteristics. In case of doubt or if you do not find an identical power cord, please contact the nearest customer service.
☐ Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
☐ Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever even if you have removed the power cord.
□ Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
Before cleaning or storing the appliance, always unplug it and let it cool down.
☐ Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
☐ Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance. Especially the power cord and its connector as the latter is equipped with a specific safety regulation.
☐ Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface to prevent it from falling down.
It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into contact with food.
☐ Make sure the cord does not come into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.
☐ Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
☐ Never touch the bullet-shaped ice cubes with your naked hand as you would risk frost bite.
☐ Do not place the appliance near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
☐ In order to prevent the appliance from tipping over, do not move the appliance when it is filled.
☐ Do not let the appliance switched on if you do not use it for a long period of time.
☐ Do not touch the appliance if your hands or feet are wet.
☐ Do not move the appliance when it is in use.
☐ If the appliance does not function properly, unplug it and contact a competent qualified electrician".
☐ Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding hot water in the ice basket.
☐ Do not tip the appliance over.
☐ If the ice maker is brought in from outside in the wintertime, give it a few hours to warm up to room temperature before plugging it in.
☐ Only use drinkable water to prepare ice.
☐ Never block the ventilation grid.

UNPACKING THE APPLIANCE
IMPORTANT: This appliance is heavy, so to avoid any risk of injury or fall, let someone help to take the appliance out of its cardboard box.
- Do not use the lid to lift up the ice maker, as this could damage the appliance.
• Do not put your appliance upside down, as this would damage the compressor. - Put the ice maker on a stable level surface which is able to hold its weight.
- For sufficient ventilation, please let a free space of 20 cm at the back and at the sides of the appliance.
- This appliance is not intended for a continuous use. Therefore it is necessary to switch it off for at least 1 hour after 5 hours of use.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- As with any other cooling appliance, your ice maker should not be started up immediately after its installation.
- Please wait at least 2 hours before starting up the appliance after its installation.
- Use an earthed socket.
USE
• After having unpacked the appliance, clean the water tank and ice basket thoroughly.
- Pour drinkable water in the water tank.
• Put the ice basket in the appliance in such a way that it covers the water tank.
• Plug in the appliance (the ON/OFF indicator lamp becomes red).
- Press the ON/OFF button to start the ice making process (the ON/OFF indicator lamp becomes green).
- Press the ON/OFF button to switch off the appliance (the ON/OFF indicator lamp becomes red).
- If the water tank is getting empty, the "FILL WATER" pilot light will turn on. In that case, press the ON/OFF button and fill water in the water tank. Wait for 3 minutes before pressing the ON/OFF button to resume the ice making process.
- When the "ICE FULL" pilot light switches on, it means that you should empty the ice basket. In that case, press the ON/OFF button, empty the ice basket and press the ON/OFF button to resume the ice making process.
- It takes about 10 minutes to make 8 ice cubes. The ice cubes of the first series will be rather small, then they will become larger and larger and they will reach the definitive size after 3 or 4 cycles.
• Unplug the appliance after use and empty the tank (cf. CLEANING).
CLEANING
• Unplug the appliance.
- When you have just used the appliance, do not touch the bullet-shaped ice cubes with your naked hand as they are cold/frozen and you would risk getting your fingers burned.
- Empty the tank. To do so, put a receptacle under the emptying drain situated at the back of the appliance, unscrew the drain plug and remove the small rubber piece that blocks
up the drain. When the tank is empty, put the rubber piece back in place and screw back the plug.
MAKE SURE NOT TO LOSE THE SMALL RUBBER PIECE AND TO ALWAYS PUT IT BACK IN PLACE BECAUSE OTHERWISE THE TANK WILL NOT BE WATERTIGHT ANYMORE.
- Clean the outside only with a slightly damp cloth.
- NEVER USE THIS APPLIANCE IN THE PROXIMITY OF WATER. DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
- Do not use any abrasive products or solvents.
• Do not put any part of your appliance in the dishwasher. - We will not accept any responsibility for defects resulting from wrong use due to the non-observance of the instruction manual. No guarantee claims will be accepted if the appliance has been opened or damaged previously.
TROUBLESHOOTING
