▶ Unplug the mains socket from the wall outlet before assembling, disassembling and when not in use.
▶ Do not touch the pressing cone ① while it is turning and do not hold any items of cutlery or other objects against rotating components. Keep your clothing and hair away from all rotating parts.

6.1. Assembling the appliance

Before first use, clean all parts of the appliance as described in the section „7. Cleaning“.
◆ Unwind the connecting cable from the cable retainer ⑧ and fit the cable into the recess provided on the bottom of the base ⑦.

Place the base ⑦ on a dry and level surface.
◆ Insert the drive shaft ⑤ into the receiver ⑥.
Place the juice container ③ into the base ⑦ so that the spout ④ rests in the provided recess. Position the sieve ② on the juice container ③. Then place the pressing cone ① on the drive shaft ⑤.

Insert the cover ⑨ into its receiver in the handle ⑩ so that you feel it engage.

◆ Insert the plug into a mains power socket.

The appliance is now ready for use.

The appliance has been cleaned and assembled:

♦ Push the spout 4 down to open it.

◆ Place a collecting container, such as a glass, beneath the spout 4.

◆ Cut the citrus fruit crosswise through the segments to obtain an upper and a lower half.

◆ Place the halved citrus fruit on the pressing cone ① with the cut face down.

◆ Close the spout ④ by pressing it upwards. Only then remove the juice container ③.
