SAFETY CONDITIONS. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

This device is for household use only.

1. Before using the product, please read the provisions of the following instructions carefully and always follow them. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage resulting from improper use of the product. Do not use for other purposes incompatible with its intended use.

2. The product is intended for indoor use only.

3. Be careful when using the product when children are around. Do not allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children or people who are unfamiliar with the device to use it without supervision.

4. WARNING: This appliance may be used by children over 8 years of age and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, or persons without experience or knowledge of the appliance, only under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety, or if they have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and are aware of the hazards associated with its operation. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance should not be performed by children unless they are at least 8 years old and these activities are performed under supervision.

5. Never put the entire device in water. Never expose the product to weather conditions such as direct sunlight, rain, etc. Never use the product in wet conditions. Never use the device near water, for example: near a shower, bathtub, swimming pool.

6. Never use the product if it has been dropped or otherwise

damaged, or if it is not working properly. Do not attempt to repair a damaged product yourself. Always return a damaged device to an authorized service center for repair. All repairs should only be performed by authorized service technicians. Repairs performed incorrectly may cause danger to the user.

1. Never place the product on or near hot or warm surfaces or cooking appliances, such as an electric oven or gas burner.
2. Never use the product near flammable materials.
3. Do not touch the device with wet hands.
4. The batteries powering the device if they are discharged or have not been used for a long time may leak. To protect the device and your health, replace them regularly and avoid skin contact with leaking battery electrolyte.
5. If the scale will not be used for a long time, remove the battery from the device.
6. Unless the device has an automatic shut-off function, turn it off manually after each use.
7. Use the device on a stable and flat surface.
8. Protect the device from strong electromagnetic fields.
9. Make sure that the surface on which the device is used is not wet or slippery.
10. Be careful not to drop heavy objects on the scale's display or its glass part.
11. DO NOT hit, DO NOT shake, DO NOT drop the scale.
12. Stand still on the scale during the entire measurement (applies to body weight scales)

BEFORE FIRST USE

Press UNIT button (2) on the base to activate the scale.

SELECTING UNITS OF MEASUREMENT

Change the units of measure with the UNIT button (2). The unit of measure will be shown on the display.

USING THE DEVICE

STEP 1. Place the scale on a hard and flat surface (avoid carpets and soft surfaces).

STEP 2. Press the scale and the device will automatically turn on. Wait until the display indicates "0".

STEP 3. Gently step onto the scale. Stand on the scale evenly distributing your weight and do not move until the reading of your weight shown on the display stops changing and is locked.

AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN

When you step off the scale, the unit automatically shuts off. The scale automatically shuts off when the display shows "0.0" or when the scale is not under load. When you step off the scale, the result will hold for 15 seconds after which the scale will turn off.

CHARGING THE DEVICE

When the empty battery symbol appears, connect the scale for charging.

Insert the plug of the charging cable into the type C charging socket on the top of the scale (4). Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet. The battery symbol will start flashing, indicating that the charging process is going well. The battery symbol stops flashing and shows fully charged battery icon once battery is fully charged. It takes 2-3 hours to fully charge the battery.

NOTE: The device is equipped with a lithium-ion battery. It is recommended to charge it every three months to ensure its long life.

NOTE: replacing the battery with the wrong type may cause an explosion. Use only a battery of the same type and power as the battery that came with the device. Charge only with the charger supplied with the product or the one suitable for the type of battery.

IMPORTANT: If the scale will not be used for a long time, turn off the scale manually to protect the battery life by holding UNIT button (2) on the base until the scale will show “OFF”. Press UNIT button (2) on the base to activate scale again.
