How to set the temperature and time on the Vevor TL4060 heat press?

Press the TEMP button to set the temperature, then use the up/down arrows. Press TIME to set the duration. The temperature and time are displayed digitally.

What settings should I use for a sublimation t-shirt?

For sublimation, set the temperature between 170°C and 190°C and the time between 15 and 20 seconds. Make sure the t-shirt is flat and use sublimation paper.

Why are my prints too light or faded?

This may be due to too low temperature, insufficient pressure, or too short transfer time. Check your settings and adjust the pressure if necessary.

How to clean the heat press?

Unplug the machine and let it cool down completely. Clean the plate with a non-abrasive damp cloth. Do not use chemicals or solvents.

Can I use this press for materials other than t-shirts?

Yes, it is suitable for transfer on mug, cap, plate, etc. Use the appropriate settings: film (110-150°C, 8-15s), foam (120-160°C, 8-15s), rhinestones (160-180°C, 10-15s).

What to do if the heating plate does not heat up?

Check that the machine is plugged in and the power switch is on. If the indicator does not light up, contact technical support at www.vevor.com/support.

Is it safe to leave the press on unattended?

No, it is imperative to unplug the machine after use and not leave it on unattended to avoid any fire risk.

How to replace a damaged power cord?

No. 1: Turn power switch on, and press the power button, then the power indicator is lightened.

No. 2: Setting temperature, press "TEMP" key, then, press the Up arrow key or down arrow key, set the right temperature. (for T-shirt: 180°C) when the temperature reaches.

No. 3: Setting time, press "TIME" key, then, press the UP arrow key or down arrow key, set the right time. (For T-shirt: 15~20 sec.)

No. 4: Flatly place the cloth on the lower printing plate, then cover the paper (please note the working surface of the paper), push the handle down to specified point. Please note that the force should not be more than 25 kg at a time, or otherwise, the handle will be transformed.

a. Sublimation Heat Transfer: Temperature 170~190°C, Time: 15~20 sec. b. Film Heat Transfer: Temperature 110-150°C, Time: 8~15 sec. c. Foam Heat Transfer: Temperature 120-160°C, Time: 8~15 sec. d. Hot-fix Rhinestone: Temperature 160-180°C, Time: 10~15 sec.

A. Take a digital photo. Print it out on sublimation paper with sublimation ink in your printer (mirror image printing). Cut the piece to the size you want, then put it on your t-shirt and fix with adhesive tapes. B. Put a t-shirt in the machine. (Put the printed sublimation paper on the t-shirt properly.)

1. Get ready on the power, press the power button, the indicator lights up!
2. Adjust the temperature (170°C~180°C) and time (about 15~20 seconds). When the temperature reaches the right degree, the top temperature indicator will go out.
3. Put the heating flat down (Note the right surface of the paper). Please note that the pressure should not be too much, or too little.
4. When the temperature gets to the set time, the buzzer rings (off the button).

THE QUESTION PROMPT FOR THE PRINTING

A. The color is lighter: The temperature is too low, or the pressure is not even, or the time is too short. B. The design is indistinct: The time is too long and leads to ink diffusing. C. The design has no luster: The pressure is too high or the temperature is too high. D. Part of design is indistinct: Heat printing zone or the heating is not even. E. Scar on design: Heat printing time is too long.

F. Color is not the same: Pressure is not even or the coating is not even.

G. Paper sticks to the object: The temperature is too high, or the coating of the object is not good.

HOW TO ADJUST THE HAND WHEEL?

TREATMENT OF QUALITY DEFECTS IN TRANSFER

1. Light Color or Faded Image: Insufficient Temperature / Incorrect Pressure / Insufficient Time.
2. Fuzzy Image: Pressing time is too long.
3. Part of the Pattern Blurred: The heat is not being distributed correctly through the heating plate, so the working time can be increased appropriately. It may be the cause of uneven pressure distribution, which can be set on four board regulators. Please note that the four board regulators have been set up before they leave the factory and should not need to be adjusted normally.
4. Dim Pattern: Too much pressure or temperature.
5. Scarred Pattern: Transfer time is too long.
6. Different Pattern Colors: incorrect pressure or poor quality of transfer paper.
7. Scorched Pattern: High temperature or poor ink.
