By purchasing the rechargeable battery hand-held mixer, hereinafter referred to as the hand mixer, you have opted for a quality product.
Before first using it, familiarise yourself with the way the hand mixer works and read these operating instructions through carefully. Be careful to follow the safety instructions and only use the hand mixer as described in the operating instructions and for the applications given.
Keep these operating instructions in a safe place. Please also hand over all documents when passing on the hand mixer to third parties.
1. Intended use
This hand mixer is a household appliance and is used exclusively for stirring and kneading dough, mixing liquids (e.g. fruit juices) and whipping cream. It is only suitable for processing food. The hand mixer may not be used outdoors or in tropical climates. The hand mixer has not been designed for corporate or commercial applications. Use the hand mixer in domestic environments for private applications only. Any other use does not correspond to the intended use. This hand mixer fulfils all relevant norms and standards relating to CE conformity. If the hand mixer is modified in a way not agreed with the manufacturer, compliance with these standards is no longer guaranteed. The manufacturer accepts no liability for any damage or malfunctions resulting from this.
Observe the regulations and laws in the country of use.
2. Package contents
Remove the hand mixer and all the accessories from the packaging. Remove the packaging material and check that all components are complete and undamaged. If you find anything missing or damaged, please contact the manufacturer.

The required battery pack and charger are not included in the package.
Due to its design, this device can only be powered with a 2 Ah battery pack or 2.5 Ah battery pack from the X 12 V TEAM (Parkside) series.

Please observe the safety instructions and notes on charging and correct use given in the operating instructions for your X 12 V TEAM (Parkside) series battery pack and charger. A detailed description of the charging process and further information can be found in these separate operating instructions.

3.1 Short-time duty
The KB time (short operating time or short-time duty) indicates how long the hand mixer can be operated without the motor overheating and getting damaged. The short operating time (short-time duty) for the hand mixer is 5 minutes.
3.2 Cool-down time
After the maximum operating time of up to 5 minutes, allow the hand mixer to cool for at least 5 minutes before continuing to process your food.
4. Safety instructions
Before you use this device for the first time, please read the following notes in this manual and heed all warnings, even if you are familiar with handling electronic devices and household appliances. Keep these operating instructions in a safe place for future reference. If you sell the device or pass it on, it is essential that you also hand over these operating instructions. They are a part of the device.

DANGER! Risk of injury
- Check the hand mixer and accessories for visible damage before each use. In the event of damage, do not operate the device and contact customer service. There is a danger of injury!
- Never use the hand mixer for purposes other than those described in these operating instructions. There is a risk of injury!
- Be fore replacing accessories or additional parts which move when the device is running, the device must be switched off.
- Remove the battery pack before assembling, disassembling or cleaning the hand mixer. There is a danger of injury!
- Af ter switching off, wait for the whisks (7) to stop moving before removing the hand mixer from the food. There is a danger of injury!
- Never reach into the rotating whisks (7). Do not hold any objects in the whisks (7) and keep loose clothing and long hair away from the rotating whisks (7). There is a danger of injury!
- Clean all surfaces and accessories that come into contact with food thoroughly after each use.
DANGER: Risk of electric shock
- Never operate the hand mixer near a bath tub, a shower or a full sink.
- Never open the housing of the motor unit (1). It does not contain any replaceable parts. Opening the housing can expose you to the risk of electric shock.
- If you notice smoke, unusual noises or smells, remove the battery pack immediately. If this occurs, do not continue to use the hand mixer and have it checked out by an expert. Never inhale smoke from a possible device fire. If you do inadvertently inhale smoke, seek medical attention. Inhaling smoke can be harmful to your health, there is a risk of injury!
Never immerse the motor unit (1) in water and do not allow liquid to penetrate into the housing of the motor unit (1).
- If liquid does penetrate into the casing of the motor block (1), remove the battery pack and contact customer services. There is a risk of electric shock!
- Never touch the motor unit (1) with wet hands. There is a risk of electric shock!
DANGER of fire
After the maximum operating time of up to 5 minutes, allow the hand mixer to cool for at least 5 minutes before continuing to process your food. There is a risk of fire.

6. Inserting / removing the battery pack
To insert or remove the battery pack, proceed as follows:
- First remove the battery pack compartment cover (8). Turn the battery pack compartment cover (8) in the direction of the open lock symbol G so that the arrow marking () points to the open lock G on the motor unit (1). Next lift the battery pack compartment cover (8) and remove it.
Inserting the battery pack
- Insert the battery pack so that it clicks into the battery pack compartment (9).
Removing the battery pack

Unlock the battery pack by pressing and holding the two red latches on the battery pack while pulling the battery pack out of the battery pack compartment (9).

Place the battery pack compartment cover (8) on the motor unit (1) so that the arrow marking () points to the open lock 6 on the motor unit (1). Turn the battery pack compartment cover (8) in the direction of the closed lock symbol 6 on the motor unit (1) so that the arrow marking () points to the closed lock 6 on the motor unit (1).
7. Before you start
Remove the hand mixer and all accessories from the packaging and check that the package contents are complete. Remove any protective films. Keep the packaging material away from children and dispose of appropriately.
Before using it for the first time, clean the hand mixer thoroughly as described in the chapter on 'Cleaning'.
Dry all parts completely before assembling the hand mixer.
7.1 Inserting the whisks (7)

For operation, it is mandatory to always use two whisks (7). There is a danger of injury!
- Insert the thin ends of the whisks (7) into the holder (10) on the motor unit (1). Make sure that the 2 tabs on the whisks (7) engage in the corresponding recesses on the holder (10). The whisks (7) must engage with a click.
7.2 Removing the whisks (7)
- Press the PUSH button (3) to unlock and remove the whisks (7). Please note that the PUSH button (3) has no function during operation.
7.3 Adjusting the speed
You can use the speed controller (5) on the motor unit (1) to adjust the speed of the hand mixer from level 0 to level 5. At level 0, the hand mixer is switched off and does not rotate. With each increasing level (between 1 and 5) you achieve a higher speed.
If the hand mixer is being operated at levels 1 to 5, you can switch to the maximum speed at any time by pressing the TURBO button (6). As soon as you release the TURBO button (6), the hand mixer continues to rotate at the previously selected speed.
Speed levels

| 3 | For mixing light cake batters, e.g. for waffles, pancakes, sponge cakes. |
| 4 | For whisking butter, sugar, desserts, etc. until frothy. |
| 5 | Initial speed for whisking egg whites, cream, etc. |
| TURBO | Highest speed for whisking egg whites, cream, etc. |
7.4 Stirring bowl

Never use a mixing bowl made of glass or other easily breakable materials. These vessels can be damaged! There is a danger of injury!
7.5 Maximum processing quantity

Never use this device to knead doughs containing more than 500g of flour. Larger quantities of flour can overload its motor! Divide larger amounts of doughs of flour into several portions and knead them one after the other. However, make sure not to exceed the specified short-time duty (KB time), otherwise the device may be damaged!
7.6 Battery charge level display
During operation, the battery charge level is indicated as follows:

8. Getting started
The hand mixer is suitable for the following applications:
Stirring light doughs
Mixing liquids
Whipping cream

It is recommended that you adjust the speed of the hand mixer to the food you are processing.
8.1 Stirring
-Insert the whisks (7) into the holder (10).

- Place the whisks (7) into the food. These should be inserted at least 1 cm into the food to be mixed, otherwise the ingredients cannot be mixed properly.
- Use the speed controller (5) to select the desired speed. You can press the TURBO button (6) at any time during operation to select the highest speed.
After the maximum operating time of up to 5 minutes, allow the hand mixer to cool. - When you are satisfied with the mixing result, move the speed controller (5) to level 0 to switch off the hand mixer.
- Lift the whisks (7) out of the food.
- Press the PUSH button (3) and remove the whisks (7).

For safety reasons, the whisks (7) can only be loosened and removed when the speed controller (5) is set to level 0.
8.2 Processing times chart
The table below gives a guideline on how to process different foodstuffs. Follow the recommended processing times to prevent the hand mixer from overheating. If you have not achieved a satisfactory blending result within this time, pause the blending process and allow the motor to cool down first. Then you can continue the blending process.

Set the speed according to the desired consistency. After the maximum operating time of up to 5 minutes, allow the hand mixer to cool.

8.3 Recipe suggestions
Mayonnaise

Method:
Place the egg yolks and vinegar/lemon juice in a tall, narrow blender jug. Stir at the highest level with the whisks (7) held vertically. While stirring, add the oil evenly and slowly (within approx. 3 minutes) in a thin stream so that it combines well with the other ingredients. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Sponge cake

Method:
Place the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, milk and eggs in a mixing bowl and mix using the whisks (7). Combine the flour and baking powder, add to the mixing bowl and mix with the other ingredients until forming a smooth batter. Pour the dough into a well-greased cake tin and bake in a preheated fan oven on the middle shelf at 160^ for approx. 40 minutes. After baking, leave to cool for approx. 5 minutes, turn out of the tin and sprinkle with icing sugar to taste.
Meringue

Method:
Beat the egg whites with the whisks (7). Slowly add the sugar and beat until the egg whites are stiff. Line a baking tray with baking paper and pipe the egg white mixture onto it in the desired shape using a piping bag.
Preheat the oven to 120^ C and leave the meringue shapes to dry for approx. 80 to 100 minutes, depending on their size.
Lemon and quark cream

Method:
Separate the yolks from the whites of both eggs.
Beat the egg yolks with the quark, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy.
Beat the egg whites with the lemon juice until stiff and then fold into the quark cream.
Yoghurt dressing

Method:
Place the natural yoghurt in a mixing bowl with the white wine vinegar and sunflower oil and stir to combine. Add the mustard, salt and sugar to taste and mix again.
Enjoy!
9. Cleaning

Risk of injury! Be careful when cleaning the hand mixer! Always remove the battery pack before cleaning!

Warning about property damage! Do not use abrasive or astringent detergents or tools which could scratch the surface (e.g. metal sponges). Otherwise you could damage the hand mixer.

Remove the battery pack.
-
Clean the motor unit (1) with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it carefully. Use a little washing-up liquid if necessary. Cleaning in detergent water would cause irreparable damage!
- The whisks (7) can be washed up in water. After cleaning, rinse with plenty of clean water to remove detergent residues. Dry the whisks (7) well.
- Alternatively, the whisks (7) can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.
10. Storage when not in use
If you do not use the hand mixer for a longer period of time, remove the battery pack and clean it as described in the previous chapter. Store the hand mixer in a dry and clean place out of the reach of children.
11. Troubleshooting
If your hand mixer does not work as normal, follow the instructions below to try to solve the problem. If this does not fix the fault, please contact our hotline.
The hand mixer does not work.
- Check that the battery is charged. If necessary, charge the battery and try again.
- Check that the battery pack is inserted properly. Remove the battery pack and insert it correctly.

Warranty of TARGA GmbH
Dear Customer,
This device is sold with three years warranty from the date of purchase. In the event of product defects, you have legal rights towards the seller. These statutory rights are not restricted by our warranty as described below.
Warranty conditions
The warranty period commences upon the date of purchase. Please keep the original receipt in a safe place as it is required as proof of purchase. If any material or manufacturing faults occur within three years of purchase of this product, we will repair or replace the product free of charge as we deem appropriate.
Warranty period and legal warranty rights
The warranty period is not extended in the event of a warranty claim. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Any damage or defects discovered upon purchase must be reported immediately when the product has been unpacked. Any repairs required after the warranty period will be subject to charge.
Scope of warranty
The device was carefully manufactured in compliance with stringent quality guidelines and subjected to thorough testing before it left the works. The warranty applies to material and manufacturing faults. This warranty does not cover product components which are subject to normal wear and which can therefore be regarded as wearing parts, or damage to fragile components such as switches, rechargeable batteries or components made of glass. This warranty is void if the product is damaged, incorrectly used or serviced. To ensure correct use of the product, always comply fully with all instructions contained in the user manual. The warnings and recommendations in the user manual regarding correct and incorrect use and handling of the product must always be observed and complied with. The product is solely designed for private use and is not suitable for commercial applications. The warranty is rendered void in the event of incorrect handling and misuse, if it is subjected to force, and also if any person other than our authorised service technicians interfere with the device. No new warranty period commences if the product is repaired or replaced.
