We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else,

please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.

Intended use

This product is designed for making waffles. Do not use the product for any other purpose.
This product is only intended for private household use, not for commercial purposes.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages caused by improper use.

- Scope of delivery

After unpacking the product, check if the delivery is complete and if all parts are in good condition. Remove all packaging materials before use.

Intended use

⚠ WARNING! Misuse may lead to injury. Use this product solely in accordance with these instructions. Do not attempt to modify the product in any way.

■ This product is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;

- farm houses;

- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;

- bed and breakfast type environments.

Electrical safety

⚠️ DANGER! Risk of electric

shock! Never attempt to repair the product yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.

CAUTION! Hot surface!

The surfaces are liable to get hot during use. Do not touch the product while in use nor immediately after use.

■ The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the product is operating.

⚠ WARNING! Risk of electric shock! Do not immerse the

product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.

⚠ WARNING! Risk of electric shock! Never use a damaged product. Disconnect the product from the power supply and contact your retailer if it is damaged.

■ The product is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage.

■ The product is powered as soon as the mains plug is connected to a suitable mains outlet.

Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product's rating label.

■ Regularly check the mains plug and the mains cord for damages. If the mains cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

- Protect the mains cord against damages. Do not let it hang over sharp edges, do not squeeze or bend it. Keep the mains cord away from hot surfaces and open flames.

Operation

■ The product must not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply mains.

- Do not move the product while it is in operation.

- Do not place the product on hot plates (gas, electric, coal cooking range etc.). Operate the product on a level, stable, clean, heat-resistant and dry surface.

- Do not cover the product while it is in use or shortly after use, when it is still hot. - Make sure that the mains cord is not pinched by the plates or touches the rim of the plates.

■ The use of extension cords is not recommended. If the use of an extension cord is necessary, it must be designed for a current flow of at least 10 A.

■ Lay cords in such a way that they may not be tripped over or otherwise damaged.

The product is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote control system.

Cleaning and storage

⚠ WARNING! Risk of injury!

Disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning work and when not in use.

- Do not store the hot product in a cupboard or in the packaging.

- Do not pull the mains plug out of the mains outlet by the mains cord.

■ Protect the product, its mains cord and mains plug against dust, direct sunlight, dripping and splashing water.
■ Store the product in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and out of the reach of children.
■ Protect the product against heat. Do not place the product close to open flames or heat sources such as stoves or heating appliances.
For instructions on how to clean the product refer to chapter “Cleaning”.

● First set-up of the product

● Unpacking the product and basic cleaning

  1. Take the product out of the packaging and remove all packaging materials and plastic wrappings.
  2. Check to make sure that all listed parts are included [see "Scope of delivery"].
  3. Check whether the product and all parts are in good condition, if any damage or defect is detected, do not use the product, but follow the procedure described in chapter "Warranty".
  4. During production, parts are covered with a protective oil film. Before first use, operate the product without any food so that any potential residues evaporate.
  5. Before first use, clean all parts of the product as described in the chapter "Cleaning".

Operation

☐ The first few times the product is heated up, a faint odour may be present. Ensure sufficient ventilation in the area.
□ Discard the first serving of waffles.

- Switching the product on/off

- When the product is connected to the mains supply, the red indicator 1 goes on and off continuously to indicate that the product maintains the cooking temperature. - The product is powered at all times while it is connected to the mains supply, even if the red indicator 1 is off.

  1. Switching the product on: Connect the mains plug 4 to a suitable mains outlet. The red indicator 1 lights up or goes off depending on the operating status.
  2. Switching the product off: Disconnect the mains plug 4 from the mains outlet. The red indicator 1 goes off.

● Preparing waffles

i INFO:

☐ Grease both heating plates 3 with a suitable cooking oil.
□ Keep the product closed while preheating.
☐ Do not overfill the product.
☐ Do not use metal ladles, as this could damage the non-stick surface of the heating plates 3.
☐ Do not overfill the lower heating plate 3 with batter.

☐ Lengthen or shorten the baking time to achieve the desired result. The waffle should be golden brown.

  1. Preheat the product until the red indicator 1 goes off.
  2. Pull the lock 2. Open the product.
  3. Pour the batter onto the lower heating plate 3.
  4. Close the product. Close the lock 2. The waffle is being baked.
  5. Wait for approx. 5–8 minutes.
  6. When baking is completed: Disconnect the mains plug 4 from the mains outlet.

Preparation

  1. Preheat the product.
  2. In a medium bowl: Combine eggs, vanilla sugar, sugar and butter.

  3. Add baking powder, around half of the flour and half of the milk into the bowl and stir.

  4. Add the rest of flour and milk, then stir until the batter becomes creamy.
  5. Spray the heating plates 3 with cooking spray.
  6. Evenly spoon the batter onto the lower heating plate 3.
  7. Close the product.
  8. Wait for approx. 8 minutes until the waffle is baked.
  9. Remove the waffle from the product.

Preparation

  1. Preheat the product.
  2. In a large bowl: Whisk together the oil, milk, egg, and sugar.
  3. Add the flour and baking powder. Stir until well combined.
  4. Fold in the blueberries.
  5. Spray the heating plates 3 with cooking spray.
  6. Evenly spoon the batter onto the lower heating plate 3.
  7. Close the product.
  8. Wait for approx. 8 minutes until the waffle is baked.
  9. Remove the waffle from the product.

  10. Let the waffle cool down for 5 minutes to make it crispy.

90 g Flour (all purpose)
30 g Unsweetened cocoa powder
10 g Granulated sugar
^1/_2 tsp Baking powder
^1/_2 tsp Sea salt
5 tbsp Unsalted butter (melted)
1 Egg (large)
1 tsp Vanilla extract
30 ml Water
60 g Mini chocolate chips
Optional Toppings (powdered sugar, vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce)
-Cooking spray

Preparation

  1. Preheat the product.
  2. In a large bowl: Mix the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  3. Melt the butter and set aside to cool a little.
  4. In a small bowl: Beat the egg, vanilla extract and water.
  5. Whisk the egg mixture into the dry mixture, then quickly mix in the melted butter.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spray the heating plates 3 with cooking spray.
  8. Evenly spoon the batter onto the lower heating plate 3.
  9. Close the product.
  10. Wait for approx. 5 minutes. The waffle should be fully formed, but soft to the touch.
  11. Remove the waffle from the product.
