Introduction
We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intended use
This product is intended for steam smoothing of textiles. Do not use it for any other purpose.
This product is only intended for private household use, not for commercial purposes.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages caused by improper use.
- Scope of delivery
After unpacking the product, check if the delivery is complete and if all parts are in good condition. Remove all packing materials before use.

In the case of damage resulting from non-compliance with these operating instructions the warranty claim becomes invalid! No liability is accepted for consequential damage! In the case of material damage or personal injury caused by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions, no liability is accepted!
Children and persons with disabilities

Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material represents a danger of suffocation.
Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Always keep children away from the packaging material.
This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
■ Children shall not play with the product.
■ Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
Intended use
⚠ WARNING! Misuse may lead to injury. Use this product solely in accordance with these instructions.
Do not attempt to modify the product in any way.
Electrical safety
⚠️ DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Never attempt to repair the product yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.
⚠ WARNING! Risk of electric shock! Do not immerse the product's electrical components in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
⚠ WARNING! Risk of electric shock! Never use a damaged product. Disconnect the product from the power supply and contact your retailer if it is damaged.
■ Regularly check the power plug and the supply cord for damages. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
■ Ensure the rated voltage shown on the rating label corresponds with the voltage of the power supply.
Use
⚠ WARNING! Risk of
injury! Turn off the product and disconnect it from the mains before cleaning and when the product is not in use.
■ The product must not be left unattended while it is connected to the mains.
■ The power plug must be removed from the power outlet before the water tank is filled with water.
■ The product must be used and rested on a flat, stable surface.
- When placing the product on its base, ensure that the surface on which the base is placed is stable.
The product is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
- Do not operate the product with a damaged power cord or plug, when the product malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
Only use the product in dry indoor rooms.
- Do not operate the product with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor. Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
■ Protect the product against heat. Do not place the product close to open flames or heat sources such as stoves or heating appliances.
■ Protect the power cord against damages. Do not let it hang over sharp edges, do not squeeze or bend it. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces and open flames and ensure that nobody can pull on or trip over it unintentionally.
■ Stop using the product if the anti-kink protection on the power cord is damaged!
- Do not pull the power plug out of the power outlet by the power cord. Do not wrap the power cord around the product.
■ Protect the product, its power cord and power plug against dust, direct sunlight, dripping and splashing water.
■ Store the product in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and out of the reach of children.
- Clean the product (see "Cleaning and care").
Burn hazards
- Care should be taken when using the product due to the emission of steam.
- Touch the heated up product by its handle only.
- Steam is very hot. Never put your hands in front of the steam nozzles.
■ Never touch the steam nozzles in operation or while heated up (e.g. to test the temperature). - Keep the product and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of age when it is energized or cooling down.
Before first use
■ Remove the packaging. Check if all parts are complete.
- Clean the product (see "Cleaning and care").
NOTE: The product may give off some vapours or odours during first use. These are production or transport residue that will quickly subside. There may also be quiet noises such as clicking or crackling. These will also quickly subside once the plastic parts have finally adjusted to the operating conditions.
Operation
Off mode
The product enters off mode when on/off switch 12 in ● position.
Standby mode
- When the steam button 3 is released, the product stops heating automatically after 15 minutes and the red LED 11 flashes.
● Filling/draining the water tank
⚠️ DANGER! Risk of electric shock!
Before filling the water tank 5: Disconnect the power plug 8 from the power outlet.
i NOTES:
Fill the water to 5 with tap water or distilled water without any additives. Use the following mixtures according to your regional water hardness:

The water to 5 has a filling capacity of approximately 250 ml.
The MAX mark 7 for the maximum filling capacity applies when the water tank 5 is positioned vertically.
Filling the water ta 5: Press the release buttons 9. Pull the water tank 5 out of the product (Fig. C).
Pour water via the water tank opening 4 into the water tank 5. Do not exceed the MAX marking 7.
Close the water tank opening 4. Wipe off water splashes. Reinsert the water tank 5 into the product (Fig. D). The water tank 5 clicks into place audibly.
Draining the water ta 5: Remove the water tank 5. Pour out the water through the water tank opening 4.
- Removing/attaching the brush
(Fig. E)
⚠ WARNING! Risk of burns! Wait until the product has cooled down before removing or attaching the brush 2.
NOTE: The product can be used with or without the brush 2.
■ Removing the bru2: Carefully pull the brush 2 off the lower bracket.
- Attaching the bru 2: Press the brush 2 onto the steam nozzles 1. The lower bracket must engage.
- Steam smoothing clothes
■ Preparation: Hang the clothes on a clothes hanger or a rail.
⚠️ ATTENTION! Risk of property damage! Before steam smoothing: Check the ironing instructions to determine if the clothes are suitable for use with this product:

If there should be no label: First try steam smoothing on an inconspicuous piece of the clothes.
⚠️ ATTENTION! Risk of property damage!
Do not treat leather, velvet, impregnated furniture or materials that are sensitive to steam.
Do not touch materials that are sensitive to heat (such as synthetic materials such as polyamide or rayon) directly with the hot steam nozzles 1. Only use the steam smoothing function.
Connect the power p8 to a suitable power socket. Set the on/off switch 12 to the I position.

Ejecting steam: Push in 3.
⚠ WARNING! Risk of burns!
When steam smoothing, always point the steam nozzles 1 towards the clothes (Fig. F).
Never steam smooth clothes while they are being worn.
Allow the clothes to cool down on a clothes hanger before wearing them.
Slightly stretch the clothes with one hand. Steam smooth the clothes by moving over them with the brush 2. Keep your hands away from the steam.
■ Apply light pressure on the clothes with the brush 2. Move the brush 2 back and forth in a straight line.
i NOTES:
■ After washing: Hang up the clothes (e.g. on a clothes hanger). The clothes thus dry with fewer creases.
The product cannot produce strong creases or a smooth, ironed appearance. For such needs, an iron is more suitable.
While steam smoothing: The clothes absorb moisture. Allow the clothes to dry completely before storing them in your wardrobe.
Continuous steam operation
During continuous operation, hot steam exits out of the steam nozzles 1 without the need to keep pressing in 3.

If water drips out of the steam nozz 1; Pull up the lock 3. Release 3. The products heats up now.
i NOTES:
When the water to 5 is emptied during continuous steam operation, the product turns off automatically after approx. 40 seconds. The red LED 11 flashes. Release 3. Fill water into the water tank (see "Filling the water tank").
The product turns back on automatically when the steam button 3 is pressed.
- Steam smoothing curtains and upholstery
■ Remove creases and wrinkles from curtains and upholstery by hanging these over a railing and then tightening them.
Before steam smoothing: Always carry out a test on an inconspicuous piece of the fabric.
- Steam the curtains/upholstery (see "Steam smoothing clothes").
- When using the product horizontally: Hold the product vertically from time to time to maintain the maximum steam power.
- Stop steam smoothing
■ Move up the lock 3, if applicable. Release ✉ 3.
Place the product, with its b6, on a flat and stable surface.
Set the on/off sw12 to the ● position. Disconnect the power plug 8 from the power socket.
NOTE: When ⚙ 3 is released, the product stops heating automatically after approx. 15 minutes and red LED 11 flashes.
- Let the product cool down (for approx. 15 minutes). Do not leave the product unattended while it is still hot.
Empty the water to 5 after each use to prevent limescale (see "Filling/draining the water tank").
● Cleaning and care
⚠️ DANGER! Risk of electric shock!
Before cleaning or maintaining the product: Disconnect the power plug 8 from the power outlet.
WARNING! Do not immerse the product's electrical components in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
- Wipe down the product with a slightly damp cloth.
Do not use any abrasive, aggressive cleaners or hard brushes to clean the product. - Let all parts dry completely after cleaning.
- Descaling
■ Use a commercially available descaling agent.
■ Mix a solution of descaling agent and water.
Fill the solution up to the MAX marking 7 in the water tank 5. Insert the water tank into the product.
⚠ WARNING! Follow the instructions of the descaling agent's manufacturer when mixing the solution.
Let the solution work according to the instructions of the descaling agent's manufacturer.
■ Connect the power p8 to a suitable power outlet.
- Wait until the product has reached its operating temperature (the LED 11 lights up permanently).
- Let the steam escape over a sink until no debris or dirt is left.
■ Disconnect the power p8 from the power socket.
■ Empty the water to 5. Rinse the water tank 5 with clear water.
To rinse the internal pipes, use clear tap water to generate steam (see "Steam smoothing clothes").
Storage
- Store the product in the original packaging when it is not in use.
■ Store the product at a dry location out of the reach of children.
■ Store the product with the water to 5 emptied only.
● Disposal
The packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials, which may be disposed of through your local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1-7: plastics/20-22: paper and fibreboard/80-98: composite materials.

Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of material or manufacturing defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Keep the original sales receipt in a safe location as this document is required as proof of purchase.
Any damage or defects already present at the time of purchase must be reported without delay after unpacking the product.
Should the product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. The warranty period is not extended as a result of a claim being granted. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear and tear, thus considered consumables (e.g. batteries, rechargeable batteries, tubes, cartridges), nor damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches or glass parts.
● Warranty claim procedure
To ensure quick processing of your claim, observe the following instructions:
Make sure to have the original sales receipt and the item number (IAN 487800_2501) available as proof of purchase.
You can find the item number on the rating plate, an engraving on the product, on the front page of the instruction manual (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the product.
If functional or other defects occur, contact the service department listed below either by telephone or by e-mail.
Once the product has been recorded as defective you can return it free of charge to the service address that will be provided to you.
Ensure to enclose the proof of purchase (sales receipt) and a short, written description outlining the details of the defect and when it occurred.
