Getting started
• Take the appliance out of the box.
- Remove all the packaging from the product.
- Place the packaging inside the box or dispose of it safely in compliance with the waste sorting instructions shown on the product packaging.
Safety warning and notice
You must read and understand all the instructions before using this appliance. The warranty will not apply if damage is caused by failure to follow the instructions.

- Never remove the appliance casing.
- Never place this appliance on top of other electrical equipment.

Protect the power cord from being stepped on or pinched, particularly at the plugs, sockets, and the point where it exits the appliance. Make sure that the power voltage corresponds to the voltage shown on the rating plate at the rear of the appliance. Always pull the plug from the socket when disconnecting from the mains. Never pull on the cord. Ensure you have completed all the other connections before connecting the plug.

Only use attachments/accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer.

Entrust all appliance repairs to qualified repairers. Repair is needed when the appliance has been damaged in any fashion, and in particular:

The series panel is located on the bottom of the appliance.

POWERING THE DEVICE

USB AUX IN DC 5VType-C Direct Current: Plug in the type-c cable and plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
NOTE:
Use the type-c direct current power supply in priority.
Please use a 5V/2A adapter or it will not charge.

- Long press the “” button return on the radio, and the screen will display the time.
- Long press to put radio on stand-by, and press again to turn the radio off completely.
Use
DAB MODE
- Press " " to/MODE to DAB mode after you turn on the radio, and then long press the "MENU" button to access the DAB settings.
Full Scan
- In the
All the stations received are saved in the DAB program list in alphabetical order with short labels. (If the DAB program list is empty, the DAB mode will always be displayed in DAB menu mode.)
NOTE: In DAB mode, you can also long press "◀◀ - SELECT - ▶▶1" to full scan. Then rotate "◀◀ - SELECT - ▶▶1" to select.
Manual Tune
- In the
- Rotate " "K selection-band. Then press " " to confirm and press "MENU" to return.

DRC
- Select "DRC" Settings to access the DAB Dynamic Range settings, which has three levels of selection: off, low, high. Rotate "◀◀toSELECTandPress
"◀◀ - SELECT - ▶▶l" to confirm. (Note: The selected item is marked with an "* in the upper right corner.)
Prune
- Select the “Prune” settings, selecting “YES” will clear invalid programs in the DAB list. (Note: Invalid programs are the ones with no stations or weak radio signals on the local reception frequency.)
FM MODE
- Press “ ⏻/MODE” to switch to FM mode after you turn on the radio, and then long press the “MENU” button to access FM settings.

Auto Scan
- In the FM mode, long press the “” button for 20 seconds and the radio will start scanning for stations automatically. When the radio receives a station signal, it will automatically save the frequency as a preset station (P01-30).
Preset Recall
- Short press the "PRESET" button to display the preset stations (P01-30). Rotate "I" to select presentation, short press " " to confirm. I◀-SELECT -▶▶
Preset Store
- Long press the "PRESET" button to display the Preset Store (P01-30). Rotate "I" to select presentation, short press " " to confirm. I◀◀ - SELECT - ▶▶
SYSTEM SETTINGS
- Long press the "MENU" button to access the FM/DAB settings after you choose the radio band.
- Rotate " " Kofing the CTSylm> and press the " " button to confirm.

Sleep Settings
- Rotate “ ” to select sleep, press “ ” to select the desired sleep setting (OFF, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 minutes) by rotating the “ SELECT - SELECT - ” button, then press “ to save the settings.

NOTE: There are seven preset languages: ‘Français’, ‘English’, ‘Deutsch’, ‘Italiano’, ‘Español’, ‘Português’ and ‘Nederlands’.
Factory Reset
- Press “ |◀◀- SELECT -▶▶|” to enter
SW Version
- Press the “ ” to select LSW version> and display the software version numbers, short press “◀◀ - SELECT - ▶▶” to return to the menu.
BLUETOOTH
- Turn on the radio, short press " " to/SMODE to Bluetooth mode.
- Switch on your mobile phone or other device to Bluetooth, and search for Bluetooth device (Bluetooth name: "RT400DABBT") to pair, when you hear the voice, it shows pairing is successful.
- Volume Control: After successful pairing, you can adjust the volume using the “+”/“-” buttons on top of the radio.
- User features: Press “▶▶/PAIR” to play/pause. Rotate “◀◀ to switch -▶▶| songs (Rotate to the left to switch to the Last Song / Rotate to the right to switch to the Next Song).
- Long press “▶▶I/PAIR” to disconnect the Bluetooth connection.
USB PLAYBACK
- Turn on the radio, short press “”. ⏻/MODE
- Plug in a USB flash drive to play.
- Operation function: Press “ ”/play/pause. Rotate “ ” to - SELECT - switch songs (Rotate to the left to switch to the Last Song / Rotate to the right to switch to the Next Song).
AUX PLAYBACK
- Turn on the radio, short press " " to/MODE to AUX mode.
- Select the AUX function, then connect an external sound source to the radio with the AUX cable, and the radio will play a song when it detects it.
- The radio functions include the amplification and output of all external audio sources. (e.g. mobile phones, MP3 players, Walkman cassette player, CD player, radios, etc.)
EARPHONE JACK
- In order to meet the multiple listening needs of our customers, our radios are set up with a “headphone” jack, simply plug the headphones into the radio to avoid being disturbed or disturbing others.

This product contains one or more batteries.
- Use batteries correctly to prevent any injury or fire caused by a leak, overheating, explosion, erosion or other damage.
- Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children or any vulnerable person. Stop using the device if the battery compartment does not close properly.
- Do not swallow batteries. If swallowed, a battery can cause severe internal burns in 2 hours and can cause death. If batteries are swallowed, contact a poison centre immediately and consult a physician.
- The batteries (or battery pack) must not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunlight, fire, etc.
- Do not heat batteries or dispose of them in fire or water.
- Do not use metal pliers or metal objects such as the point of a pen or tweezers to remove batteries. Avoid deforming, crushing or piercing batteries.
- Do not disassemble the batteries.
- Cover the ends of the batteries with tape to prevent explosions and combustion when these are scrapped.
- Scrap batteries in an environmentally friendly way
- Do not dispose of batteries in ordinary household waste.
- Be sure to comply with the local regulations in force when scrapping batteries.

Additional information
- To save energy, when the appliance does not issue any audio output for a certain amount of time, it will automatically go into standby mode. It can be switched ON by using the POWER selector again.
- If there is an incoming call while RT400DABBT is connected to your cell phone for music playback, it will pause at once when you answer the call and resume after the call ends. (Sometimes it will remain on pause after the end of the call, it depends on your cell phone.)
