How to assemble the Vevor TD-1004-08 motorcycle carrier?

Follow steps 1 to 6 in the manual: install the brackets on the drawbar, attach the motorcycle carriers, insert the bar into the trailer hitch, mount the ramp and secure with straps. Tighten all bolts properly.

What is the maximum load capacity of the carrier?

The maximum capacity is 272.4 kg (600 lb) for both motorcycles combined.

Can you transport a single motorcycle with this carrier?

Yes, it is designed for two motorcycles but can support a single motorcycle as long as it stays within the load limit.

How to attach the loading ramp?

The ramp (D) is stored on the drawbar using 2 M10x25 screws (E). To use it, simply place it on the motorcycle carrier.

How to use the ratchet straps?

Thread the tail of the strap under the central slot, then through the slot. Pull the tensioner handle back and forth to tighten. To release, pull the spring loop, open the zigzag handle, and pull the strap.

How to install the anti-tilt support?

Slide the anti-tilt support (F) towards the vehicle, place the U-steel on the drawbar, then evenly tighten the bolts to clamp the hitch collar.

What are the important safety precautions?

Read the entire manual before use. Respect the maximum load, do not exceed the recommended speed, check the fixations before each trip, and do not use under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

How to maintain the Vevor motorcycle carrier?

Clean after use, regularly check the condition of bolts, nuts, and straps. Store in a dry place. In case of corrosion, treat immediately.

Step 1:

Two identical metal trapezoidal plates labeled A and B, with no additional text or symbols visible.

Install the support brackets(A) onto the hitch bar(B) on the outside of welded brackets using 4 pcs M8x20 Bolts (H). Leave bolts hand tight

Step 2:

Place the motorcycle rack (C) between the support brackets and install pcs M8x40 bolts (G), washers (I), and nuts (J). Securely tighten all & support bracket bolts.

Install the other motorcycle rack platform rotated 180^ of the first motor rack platform and repeated Steps 1&2.

Step 3:

Insert the hitch bar into the trailer hitch, and install the hitch pin (L) size steel down to the hitch bar, then assemble the bracket as the picture shows. Slide the anti-tilt bracket (F)towards the vehicle and tig the bolts evenly. They will pinch the bracket on the collar on the hit preventing excessive movement of the rack.

Step 4:

The ramp (D) stores on hitch bar with 2 PCS M10x25 screws (E).

Put the ramp on the motorcycle rack.Motorcycles can move along the ramp.

Step 5:

The optional lock pin (K) can be inserted into the front of the motor rack to make the front wheel gap smaller.

Step 6:

Secure each motorcycle to the rack with tie down straps (M). Use two ratchet straps attached to the handlebars, two straps attached to the frame of the bike, and two wheel ties.

1. Thread the tail of the webbing from the outside in under the center slot.

2. Thread the tail of the webbing through the center slot.

3. Pull the tensioner handle back and forth.

B. Unraveling Method

1. Use your hand to pull the spring buckle on handle.

2. Open the handle in a zigzag position.

3. Pull out the webbing here to untie it.
