How to assemble the Vevor SPT-505-12 wall mount?

Assembly is done in several steps: first insert the lower and upper crossbars into the left and right U-shaped supports, fix with M5 screws. Then mount the door by pulling the latches to the unlocked position, place it on the frame and lock the latches one by one. See the full manual for diagrams.

What tools are needed for installation?

You will need a cross-head electric screwdriver, an electric drill, a marking pen and possibly a cage nut tool. Assembly requires two people.

Can I install this rack alone?

No, the manual clearly states that assembly requires two people to handle the rack safely.

What is the maximum load this rack can support?

Although not officially specified, a wall mount of this size generally supports approximately 60 kg evenly distributed. Check the wall strength before installation.

Is this rack compatible with all 19-inch equipment?

Yes, the rack is standard 19-inch format and accepts any compatible equipment of 12U height, provided you use the supplied M6 cage nuts.

How to fix the rack to the wall?

Mark 4 holes of 14 mm diameter according to the rack dimensions, drill, insert the supplied M10 expansion bolts, then hang the rack and tighten the nuts. Ensure the wall can support the load.

What type of screws to use for wall mounting?

Use the M10 expansion bolts (Ø10 mm) supplied with the rack. Drill 14 mm diameter holes to insert them.

How to install the door?

Pull the 4 door latches to the unlocked position, place the door assembly on the frame, then lock the right side latches one by one, then the left side ones. Ensure the door opens and closes freely.

How to install the cage nuts?

Insert one wing of the M6 cage nut into the desired hole, then push the second wing in by applying pressure by hand or with a special tool. Repeat for each location.

SERVER RACK INSTALLATION

1. Insert the Bottom Crossbeam(②) into left U Type Support(①) and right U Type Support(①), Secure with 8pcs M5 assembly fix Screws(④). See Figure 1.

Notes: during assembly, need notice the Crossbeam direction, make sure the vertical mounting holes are aligned.

If the holes do not all line up, please secure the side screws first, the rest of the holes will gradually line up during the installation process.

1. Insert the Top Crossbeam(②) into left U Type Support(①) and right U Type Support(①), Secure with 8pcs M5 assembly fix Screws(④). See Figure 2.

Notes: during assembly, need notice the Crossbeam direction, make sure the vertical mounting holes are aligned.

1. Pull the Door Set(③)'s 4pcs door latches on unlock position as follows, ready to assembly door set on the Rack. See Figure 3

1. Put the Door Set(③) on the frame showed position, then lock the side of door set(③)'s 2pcs door latches on the Rack one by one, may sure the door can be open and close smoothly. See Figure 4

WALL MOUNT INSTALLATION

1. First put the server rack on the wall or other suitable mounting surface, on the suitable position to mark mounting holes position by co pen.
   Or can directly according to the above specification data sheet show wall mounting size W*H to mark mounting holes position.
2. Adopts electric drill to drill marked 4pcs diameter 14mm holes, then mounting and fix the M10 Expansion screws(⑦) into the holes.
3. Fix the server rack on the the M10 Expansion screws(⑦),tight the expansion screw's nut.

EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION

Use the included M6 cage nuts(⑤),M6*12 corss head screws(⑥) to install equipment into the wall mount server rack.

1. Insert the wing(side) of an M6 cage nut(⑤) into the back of the desired cage nut hole.
2. Apply pressure by hand or with the cage nut tool, to insert the sewing of the M6 cage nut(⑤) into the desired cage nut hole.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to insert the desired number of cage nuts application.
4. Align the Mounting holes in the equipment with the M6 cage nuts installed in steps 1-3.
5. Thread an M6*12 corss head screws(⑥), Repeat until the desired number of M6*12 corss head screws(⑥) have been prepared.
6. Tighten the screws, using a phillips head screwdriver.
