Note that the torque wrench must be used to tighten to a torque of 10N.m. The maximum torque must not exceed 20N.m.
Gas connection
The gas connection must be in a position where the shut-off valve is accessible. The end of the gas inlet connection point of the gas hob has a 1/2" thread which allows for:
- a fixed connection
- a connection using a flexible pipe (L min. 1 m - max. 3 m)

Important recommendations
For easier ignition, light the burner before placing the pan on the grill. For lower and more efficient gas consumption, it is advisable to use pans with a diameter that matches the size of the burner, so that the flame does not burn out. All cookware must have a flat bottom and be of the correct size. It is advisable to reduce the flame as soon as the liquid starts to boil, and to keep the flame to the minimum necessary to maintain boiling. Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the room where the heater is installed.

| Do not use small diameter cookware on large burners. The flame should never come up the sides of the pan.Avoid cooking without a lid or with the lid half off as this wastes energy.Do not use a pan with a convex or concave base.Do not place cookware on one side of the burner as it may tip over.Do not use large-diameter cookware on the burners near the controls, as it may touch the controls if it is placed in the middle of the burner, or be so close to them that it raises the temperature in that area and may cause damage.Never place cooking utensils directly on the burner.Do not place anything, e.g. a flame trap or asbestos mat, between the pan and the pan support as this may cause serious damage to the appliance.Do not use excessive weight or hit the hob with heavy objects. | Always use the correct cookware for each burner to avoid wasting gas and discolouring the cookware.Put a lid on the cookware.Use only pots, saucepans and frying pans with thick, flat bottoms.Always place cookware directly over the burner, not to one side.Place the cookware on the trivet.Handle cookware carefully when it is on the burner. |
- Do not use cast iron, clay or stoneware pans, grill pans, griddles or toaster plates, as the resulting heat could damage the appliance.
- Do not touch the top plate and the trivet for a certain period after use.
- As soon as a liquid starts to boil, reduce the flame to a barely simmering level.
- Fats and oils can give off flammable vapours when heated. Keep flames or heated objects away from fats and oils when cooking with them.

- The correct adjustment is obtained when the flame has a length of about 3 - 4 mm.
- For butane / propane gas, the adjusting screw must Make sure that the flame does not go out by quickly turning from maximum flow to minimum flow. If it does then remove the control knob and make further adjustments to the gas flow, testing it again once the adjustment has been made.
- Repeat this process for each one of the gas taps.
Do not dismantle the tap: in the event of a malfunction, replace the entire tap. Before replacing the burner, make sure that the injector is not blocked. (Such as soapy water or gas in the event of a malfunction, replace the entire tap. A full function test and a test for possible leaks must be carried out).
Do not disassemble the valve:
On completion of the conversion, a qualified engineer or installer must mark „V“ on the correct gas category to match the setting on the rating plate. Remove the „V“ mark from the previous setting.

Before dismantling, any gas in the unit must be vented. Proceed as follows:
- Close all supply valves, but do not disconnect the gas cooker from the line yet.
- Now light all the burners. The remaining gas contained in the appliance burns off in a short time.
- After that, the appliance's pipes are free of gas and the gas cooker can be disconnected from the connections.
Important notes on dismantling the unit
- The disassembly is the same as the installation / assembly in the reverse order of the steps.
- Have a second person help you during disassembly to avoid injury.
- Ensure sufficient ventilation of the working area during disassembly.
- There are no motors or accumulators in this gas hob. Observe the section "Disposal Considerations".
