Why is my jack not lifting?

Make sure the release valve is fully closed (turned clockwise). Check that the load does not exceed the 8-ton capacity. Bleed air from the system by removing the oil filler plug.

What to do if the jack leaks after lifting?

Check that the release valve is fully closed. If the load is excessive, reduce it. If the problem persists, the hydraulic unit may be defective; contact the seller.

How to lower the jack after unloading?

Remove the pressure handle. Use the slotted opening of the handle to slightly turn the release valve counterclockwise. The piston rod will descend slowly. Do not turn quickly to avoid sudden descent.

Why is the lifting performance poor?

Check the hydraulic oil level. If air is trapped in the system, with the ram fully retracted, remove the oil filler plug to release the air, then reinstall it.

How to add hydraulic oil?

Make sure the saddle and pump piston are fully lowered. Place the jack upright. Remove the oil filler plug. Fill to the lower edge of the opening with 32# hydraulic oil. Reinstall the plug.

What oil to use for this jack?

Use anti-wear hydraulic oil grade 32# or equivalent. Do not use brake fluid or any other inappropriate fluid.

How to bleed air from the hydraulic system?

With the ram fully retracted, remove the oil filler plug to allow pressurized air to escape. Reinstall the plug. This should improve lifting performance.

- This is just a lift drive, which is designed to be used with cranes to lift heavier loads. Do not use this product for any purpose other than for which it was intended.

- This is a lifting device only, which is designed to be used with cranes to lift heavier loads. Do not overload; overloading may cause damage or failure of the unit. Do not use this product for any purpose other than for which it was intended.

- Load must be supported immediately by other appropriate means. Never work on, under or around load until it is properly supported on appropriately rated jack stands.

- Do not drop load suddenly. The resulting shock to the unit may cause damage. The unit must be fully retracted before adding oil. Fill to the lower edge of the filling hole. Use only high quality hydraulic fluid. Do not use brake fluid or any other type of improper fluids that may cause damage to the unit.

- All mounting hardware must be tight before using.

- Read, study, understand and follow all instructions before use or maintenance.

- It is the owner's responsibility to keep labels and manuals available from the manufacturer. Failure to heed these and all other warnings pertaining to this product can result in sudden loss of lifted load, resulting in death, personal injury, or property damage.

Caution:

Use the handle provided for this product or an authorized replacement handle to ensure proper release valve operation.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS:

To raise:

1. Using the slotted opening at the end of the handle, turn the release valve clockwise to tighten it.
2. Put the handle in the pressing handle holder and press up and down. The piston rod will rise slowly to the height you need. Then immediately transfer the load to appropriately-rated support devices such as jack stands.

To lower:

Remove the pressing handle. Using the slotted opening at the end of the handle, turn the release valve slightly counterclockwise to loosen it. Then the piston rod will move down slowly. When loaded, the release should not be turned quickly, otherwise too speedy lowering will lead to danger.

Warning:

Be sure all tools and personnel are clear before lowering the load. Danger: dynamic shock loads are created by quickly opening and closing the release valve as the load is being lowered. The resulting overload may cause hydraulic system failure, which could cause severe personal injury and/or property damage.

FOR SAFETY'S SAKE

Lifting weight should not exceed the specified duty of this jack. Without a supporting rack, it is not allowed to work under the lifted body after it is raised.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

Proper quantity of oil should be maintained, otherwise the specified lift height would not be reached.

To avoid damaging, the jack should be kept from shocking while in operation.

The jack is not allowed to stand on one side or upside down.

This product is not suitable for the operation environment full of acid or alkaline corrosive air.

Adding oil

1. With saddle fully lowered and pump piston fully depressed, set jack upright, level position. Remove oil filler plug.
2. Fill until oil is level with the filler plug hole, reinstall oil filler plug.

Changing oil

For best performance and longest life, replace the complete fluid suit at least once per year.

1. With saddle fully lowered and pump piston fully depressed, remove oil filler plug.
2. Lay the jack on its side and drain the fluid into a suitable container.

Note: Dispose of hydraulic fluid in accordance with local regulations.

1. Fill with good quality jack oil. Reinstall oil filler plug. We recommend anti-wear hydraulic oil or equivalent.

Lubrication

1. Apply a coating of light lubricating oil to pivot points, axles, and hinges to prevent rust and ensure that wheels, casters, and pump assemblies move freely.
2. Periodically check the pump piston and ram for signs of rust or corrosion. Clean as needed and wipe with an oily cloth.

Caution: Never use sandpaper or abrasive material on these surfaces.

1. When not in use, store the jack with the pump piston and ram fully retracted.

Warning: Do not adjust this valve.
