How to install the soft-close system?

Place the front and rear actuators in the track at the indicated positions (L-268 mm and L-348 mm). Then insert the soft-close bracket with the idle wheels first. Engage the damper by pushing its trigger toward the engaged position on both sides.

What door thickness is suitable for this kit?

The kit is designed for wooden doors of 35 mm or 45 mm thickness. For 35 mm, the floor guide must be pushed 80 mm to the left.

How to adjust the door height after installation?

Use a wrench to adjust the door height at the pivot axis of the bracket. Turn in the necessary direction to raise or lower the door.

What to do if the soft-close does not work?

Check that the damper is properly engaged: the trigger must be in the 'engaged' position on both sides. If not, remove the door and reinstall the system. A poorly installed damper may be damaged.

How to cut the rail to the correct length?

Measure your door opening. For two doors, track length = 2 x door width - 1 inch (25.4 mm). Cut the rail to the desired length using a suitable saw.

How to install the floor guide for a 35 mm thick door?

Push ONLY the rear actuator/trigger 80 mm to the left. The front actuator does not change position. Then fix the floor guide with the provided screws.

Is it possible to use this kit for a single door?

The kit is designed for two sliding doors. For a single door, you would need to adapt the rail and components, but this is not intended by the manufacturer. It's better to choose a specific kit.

What tools are needed for installation?

The required tools are: a wrench, a drill, a screwdriver, possibly a saw to cut the rail. It is recommended to wear safety goggles and gloves.

Is the kit compatible with glass or metal doors?

No, the kit is specifically designed for wooden doors of 35 to 45 mm thickness. Use with other materials is not guaranteed.

INSTRUCTIONS

SLIDING DOOR HARDWARE

Fits 35 and 45mm thick wood door

PREPARE OPENING CAREFULLY: MAKE SURE CORNERS ARE SQUARE, HEADER IS LEVEL AND JAMBS ARE STRAIGHT.

1 Cutting Instructions: The length of the track can be cut according to actual needs.

2 Place the 1st soft close actuator/trigger into the track at the given place using Figure 1 and 2. Note: W=Door width

3 Insert Ball Bearing Hanger Wheel assembly into Track

4 Engage Soft Close Dampener by pushing Dampener trigger toward "engaged" positions on both side. This step is very important. DAMPENER MUST BE ENGAGED or soft close will not work, Soft Close Dampener may be DAMAGED if installed incorrectly. Door will have to be removed and installation of Soft Close will have to begin again.

5 Insert Soft Close Hanger into Track.(Idle wheels first)

Rotate the hanger ( three wheel part ) to 90 ° and move soft close body first inside the track ,then also move the hanger inside the track.

6 Place the 2nd soft close actuator/trigger into the track and have it 216 mm from the end plates.

7 Mount Track to Header.

NOTE: Alternate hanger wheel assemblies in track to provide even pressure.

Mount Hanger Plates to Door: Fasten door plates to top of door,2-3/4"(70mm) from each edge.

Hang Doors. Start with front door first. Slide pivot pin of hanger into socket and click the tab in place. Check for smooth travel. Repeat with rear door.

Install Bottom Guide: Slide both doors to side jamb. Place guide between doors and align doors with jamb, fasten guide to floor with screws.Plmb door with jambs.

ONLY push the back actuator/trigger 80 mm to left as shown in following figure. NOTE: The front actuator/trigger don't need to move position.

12 Install Handle: First, use a tool to make a groove on each of the two doors, with a depth of 29/64"(11.4mm) and a diameter of 2 1/8"(54mm), and finally fix the handle on the door.

1. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun to avoid aging.
