What is the maximum punching capacity?

The machine can punch up to 12 sheets of A4 80 g/m² paper at once. Do not exceed this limit to avoid damaging the mechanism.

How many sheets can I bind with a 51 mm comb?

With a 51 mm (2 inch) comb, you can bind up to 450 A4 sheets. Refer to the correspondence table in the manual to choose the appropriate comb for your document.

How to adjust the paper margin?

Move the paper size slider to the desired position: 3, 4 or 5 mm. This adjusts the distance between the paper edge and the punch holes.

What to do if the punching lever gets stuck?

This may be due to paper waste stuck in the blade. Clean the mechanism with a piece of stiff cardboard and make sure not to exceed the punching capacity.

How to clean the waste tray?

Remove the waste tray at the back of the machine, empty the paper scraps, then reinsert it. Clean it frequently to avoid jams.

What type of comb to use with this binder?

This binder is designed for plastic combs (rings) with 21 holes, 14.3 mm pitch. Black PVC combs of 3/8 inch are provided.

Can I punch plastic covers?

Yes, but it is recommended to place the plastic cover between two sheets of paper before punching, to prevent it from slipping or breaking.

How to open the comb to insert sheets?

Place the comb with the opening facing up and push the lever forward to open the rings. Insert the punched sheets (cover first), then release the lever.

The punching margin is slanted, what to do?

Check that the paper is straight when inserting. If the problem persists, clean the paper waste inside the paper cutter using a hard board.

Place the machine in a balanced and safe place to avoid falling off or causing any injury to people or the machine. Operate the machine strictly as per the manual, especially pay attention to the max punching and binding capacity. Please test the machine before you punch official documents. When punching plastic covers, we suggest that the cover should be clipped between two pieces of paper. Please don't use the machine to punch hard materials such as metal to avoid damage to the machine. When clamping the plastic ring, please don't put your fingers inside the area, otherwise, you will get hurt. The machine is only dedicated to using plastic rings. Please don't put the machine in wet places to avoid any liquid damage inside. For the first use, make a punch with blotting paper to suck up any lubricant from the blade.

OPERATING GUIDE

Place the machine on a steady and even surface before using!

For the first use, make a punch with blotting paper to suck excess lube from the blade

1. Punching Operation

◆ Move the slider for paper format to the proper position according to the paper format of the document, and then insert the document and press down the

2. Binding Operation

◆ Punch the paper sheets needing binding

◆ Insert the punched sheets (cover sheet first) onto the comb.

◆ Put on the comb with opening facing up and press the lever backwards.

◆ Release the lever and take out the document. Done!

◆ Choose the comb according to the thickness of the document. The following form is for your reference to choose the proper comb.

MAINTENANCE

Clean up the waste bin

The waste bin, which is located at the back of the machine, is dedicated to the waste of punching. The frequency of cleaning up the waste bin depends on the frequency you use the machine.

1. Pull out the waste bin from the back of the machine
2. Pour the waste into the rubbish bin.
3. And insert the waste bin again.

Please clean up the waste bin frequently!
