• Power outlet shall not be sprayed water,so as to reduce the risk of le

• Pump must not run idle, otherwise it shall curtail the service life of pump damage the motor.

• Don't use a blanket or cloth to wrap the motor or pump terminal so as freezing in a cold environment.

• Pump shall not run, when working ambient temperature is 40^ above or 0^ below, or temperature is higher than 40^, otherwise it shall curtail the service life of pump.

• Be sure to apply water rather than other liquids to the pump.

• Pump shall be avoided exposing to the direct sunlight or rain, otherwise it curtail the service life of pump and cause the risk of leakage.

• Don't start the pump, when the water isn't filled fully, otherwise it may dam the mechanical blocking and drive, and curtail the service life of pump.

• Unscrew a little with the screwdriver and rotate before energized. During the transporting period, the pump is occasionally found to be bonded tightly. After unscrewing, it can check whether the arbor runs normally.

After pump is installed, check whether the pump runs properly manually.

ASSEMBLY PRECAUTIONS

This pump is required to be located at least 3.5m away from the reservoir pipe complying with the low-voltage electrical machine specification.

Installation Guide

• Proper positions are required to be selected to install the pump for the benefit of testing and maintenance. - Suction pipe connection.

A.To ensure the sealing effect/use Teflon tape on alljoins.

B.The reserved O-shaped joints need not use Teflon tape.

• Advance pipe connection.

C.Use Teflon tape on pump outlet, which can optimize the performance and prevent water from leaking into the pump components.

If pump won't be used, long term, cut off the power, empty the accumulated water in pump, and tighten the drainage plug on bottom of the pump.

Re-start Pump After a long-term shutdown

• After energized, if the motor doesn't run, it may be due to the adhesion of dirt in pump end water or water condensation.

• At this moment, use screwdriver or other tools to rotate several laps on the rear side of the motor, then pump can operate normally.

• Open coarse filter cover and fill sufficient water.Close the cover, and make sure that the valves within the pipe and selection valve have been closed when the water is circulated.

• Start the pump. Absorb water through the suction pipe and it begins to roar. Observe whether the incoming water is filled to the support basket through the transparent coarse filter cover. The amount of water is small initially, and then gradually increases until it fills the coarse filter mouth.

• When install, the pump shall be at least 0.5m away from the reservoir of level, and water injection process may be repeated according to the requirements.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

The strainer basket built into the pump tank should be inspected and clear at regular intervals. These strainer baskets are easy to clean. Remove the lid to expose the strainer basket. Remove the basket and clean. Inspect the o-ring, if damaged, replace. Replace the strainer basket and re-install the lid. Tightening by hand only.

If your pool is deactivated until next season, care must be taken to protect pump part from damage. Drain completely by removing the drain plug provided at bottom of pump tank. Do not replace the plug, but store it in the strainer basket for the winter. An alternative is to remove the pump and store it in a warm dry location.

If the pump is used with sea water it is necessary to flush it with clear water. We also recommend that the seals be changed before next season. It is also possible to leave the pump wet end and piping intact and only and store the motor and impeller assembly. In this case remove the motor tank screws. Protect the remaining pump parts that are attached to the

system, from a build-up of liquid from rain and snow.

When activating the pump again, reverse the above procedure. Replace the body O-ring between the tank and the back plate if damaged. Install drain plug. Check the pump shaft for free movement. Prime the pump as above a check the rotation of pump shaft.
