What is the battery life of the PZ-1550?

The 18 V, 4.0 Ah lithium-ion battery allows approximately 30 to 40 pressing cycles before a full recharge.

How to recharge the battery?

Insert the battery into the provided charger, plug the charger into a 100-240 V wall outlet and let it charge for about 60 minutes. The ambient temperature must be between 10 °C and 40 °C.

What types of pipes can this tool press?

It can press stainless steel and copper pipes (12-54 mm), as well as PEX and XPAP pipes (12-108 mm) with the appropriate jaws.

How to change the jaws?

Remove the fixing pin, insert the desired jaw into the tool head, then replace the pin. Make sure the jaw is securely locked before use.

What to do if the tool does not work after pressing the trigger?

Check that the battery is charged, the hydraulic system is not obstructed, and the components are not damaged. If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer.

Can I use the tool continuously for a long time?

1. Work area safety

2. Electrical safety

a. Make sure the plug matches with the plug seat. Never try any changes of plug.
b. Do not put tool, battery and charger under a rainy or humid surroundings easy to trigger an electric shock accident if any water goes into the electric of the tool.
c. Do not use electric wire to carry, pull, or to draw out the plug and do the “-”and “+”, the damaged or twined wire may cause an electric shock acc d. 3. Personal safety

PZ-1550 is a tool for pressing Stainless steel pipe, Copper pipe, XPAP, PEX with fittings. It is powered by Li-ion, actuated by motor and controlled by MC With a high pressure hydraulic system, it is a perfect tool to be used in plug and heating installations.

Function description

MCU – automatically detect the pressure during operation and provide Security protect, shut off the motor and reset automatically after operation.

Auto reset- Release the pressure automatically, retract the piston to the starting position when reached the max output.

One key control- press the trigger to start working, loosing the trigger means stop forcing pressure, piston stop moving.

The unit is equipped with a double piston pump which is characterized by a rapid approach of the die towards the connector and a slow crimping motion.

Suspend—finish working or withdraw the hand from the trigger or any accident happened, the device inside of the tool can stop power supply.

One significant sound will be heard and a red display flashes if any error occurs or lower power being.( Ref. table 1)

Per time pressing on the trigger, the LED will lighting for 20 s.

The overall structure is compact with human body human engineering design. Antiskid rubber in the handheld part and the optimization designed emphasis make the operation more easy

1. Charging

Push battery into charger and connect the plug with the plug seat. Make sun room temperature is between 10^ - 40^ . The charging time is around 40mins.

The battery can be used for hundreds of times, when the life span reduced obviously, change to a new battery please.

Please charging the battery in time to avoid it to be used up absolutely, other will become useless forever. If the battery not be used for a long time, it will discharge automatically, so take out the battery from the tool and make sure charge it one time per/each quarter.

2. Special suggestion:

The tool is controlled by one key, Press the trigger to start working; Piston back automatically after finish pressing. Losing the trigger means stop forcing pressure. Press retract button, piston fully comes back.

Warning:

1) This tool is a high-pressure, high-strength, heavy-duty appliance. Please follow the instructions and precautions strictly to operate carefully!
2) Before operating, you must check the tool for any damage, aging, missing parts, stuck components, and any other unfavorable factors that threaten safety. If you find any problems, please stop using it immediately until the problem is solved.
3) After pressing the jaw arm and holding the pipe, please keep your hands fingers away from the jaw, press the start button and hold it until the pin reaches the set value and reset automatically. Release the start button halfway to pause, press the release button to return the piston.
4) Do not let the tool or jaws hang directly on the pipe fittings, to avoid unnecessary injury or even fatal accidents caused by the tools falling accidentally.
5) Before start the tool, the ram pin must be fully inserted into the ram, other it will easily cause damage to the ram and even personal injury.
6) Remove the grease from the non-lubricated parts of the tool, especially th

hand-held parts, to avoid the tool slipping during use.

7) Do not disassemble and assemble tools at will, otherwise tool damage or personal injury may occur.
8) Do not put your fingers and any part of the human body into the moving of the jaws during use, and avoid pointing the tool head at yourself or
9) The pressure of the tool should be checked and calibrated regularly. The pressure check and calibration need to be carried out under the special pressure detection device. Do not adjust it without permission, otherwise that tool may be damaged or even personal injury may occur.
10) After 30 minutes of continuous use, the tool should be cool down before. Otherwise the temperature will over high and resulting in early seal failure oil leakage.

MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING

Don't disassemble the tool at will, All the damage caused by disassembl without authorization is not within the scope of warranty. Manufacturer w provide a pay-needed maintenance service (Only charge spare parts cost)

1. Keep the tool and spare parts dry. All kinds of liquid corrosion may happen the shell.metal surface and electrical circuit. If the tool is wet, PLS get out 1 battery. Reload the battery after the tool is dry.
2. Don't put the tool in overheated and overcooled place. Low and high temperature will make the plastic parts out of shape, shorten the life of elec

components and damage battery.

1. Don't clean the tool with strong chemical cleaning agent.
2. In order to prolong the life of the tool please change the oil per year. M the oil filtered by 120 mesh net or over 30um strainer. Meantime avoid the into the oil cup.
3. If the tool unused for long time, please make sure the piston stay on its position, clear up the tool and paint the rustproof oil both to the tool piston accessories. Take out the battery and put them into box and store the tool handle box.
4. After a long time using, the sealing kits will be damaged, if there is leak please contact with the manufacturer or the distributor to change the sealing by expert serviceman.
