SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING

1. Do not use the ratchet power puller when the vehicle is in gear "P" (parking brake) position. This may damage the vehicle's transmission
2. Before use, the cable should be straightened and not twisted to avoid breaking the rope.
3. Keep hands, clothing, hair, and jewelry clear of the cable/gear when using the ratchet power puller.
4. Do not wrap the cable around the load, and do not hook the load onto the cable. This could damage the load and twist or fray the cable.
5. Do not use the ratchet power puller if the cable is frayed, twisted, or damaged.
6. Do not allow anyone to stand near the cable, in the cable pulling line, or behind the hand puller while it is in use.
7. Never pass over the hand puller or steel cable during use.
8. Refer to the parameter table; do not overload beyond the fracture tension.
9. Never use other levers or tubes to apply force on the tightener handle.
10. Subjecting the wire tightener to sudden shock-loading energy is prohibited.
11. It is prohibited to let the wire rope over, close to, or around sharp corners, which will cause the wire rope to be cut off.
12. The product is solely for pulling purposes on loads or pulling two cables together within the product's technical specifications.
13. The product is not intended for hauling floating vessels, nor for professional and/or industrial applications.
14. Do not use the ratchet power puller for hoisting or lifting operations; this type of application requires a hoist that must comply with particular safety requirements.

OPERATION

CHECK THE HAND PULLER CAREFULLY BEFORE USING IT!

Suggestion: The best way to get acquainted with how the hand puller operates is to carry out a few test runs before you actually use it.

Note: It may be difficult to pull out the rope if it is fully packed; reserve an appropriate length outside!

Step 1: Switch the pawl spring to the upper unlock position in order to release the pawl.

Step 2: Flip the handle to the opposite side, hold the trigger simultaneously, and the wire rope can be pulled out.

Step 3: Reset the handle, switch the pawl spring back to original position to lock the pawl.

Step 4: The wire rope will be retracted when you push and pull the handle back and forth.

Note: In case of stacking the wire rope on one side, you may use your finger to guide the rope while retracting.

MAINTENANCE

1. Lubricate the wire rope regularly and check for wear and broken wires. 2. Be sure to wipe the product with a dry cloth after use in harsh environments, such as bad weather or by the sea.
