What tools are needed for installation?

You will need a Phillips screwdriver. If using power tools, be sure to reduce speed and be careful. Two people are recommended for assembly.

How to adjust the closing speed of the door?

Turn the speed adjustment valve clockwise to slow down the closing, or counterclockwise to speed it up. Never unscrew the valves completely, as this will cause leakage.

What is the maximum load capacity of this door closer?

The Vevor D202 door closer can support a door with a maximum weight of 100 pounds (approx. 45 kg). Make sure your door does not exceed this limit.

Can I install this door closer on a metal door?

Yes, the kit includes special screws for metal doors (M5×15). Use the appropriate screws and pre-drill holes if necessary.

How to install the door closer in parallel push side mode?

Fix the door closer body to the door with the adjustment valves facing the hinge. Mount the main arm on the shaft by turning it 30° toward the hinge, then fix the fore-arm parallel to the frame. Refer to the manual for detailed diagrams.

What to do if a part is missing or damaged?

Installation Instructions

1. Select the degree of door opening. Use the dimensions shown in the chart and illustration above to mark the location of the attaching screws on the door and the frame holes.
2. Assemble the main arm to the closer.
3. Attach the closer to the door with the speed regulating valves toward the hinge.
4. Attach the foot of the forearm to the frame.
5. Adjust the length of the forearm to position it at a right angle to the door when connected to the main arm at the elbow. Use the washer and screw to secure the pivot connection. Tighten the lock nut on the forearm.
6. Snap the pinion cap over the spindle at the bottom of the closer.
7. Standard installation position of arms and index setting

CLOSING SPEED CONTROL

Attention:

Adjust the closing speed time to between 4 and 6 seconds from 90 degrees. Use of the door by handicapped, elderly, or small children may require a longer closing time.

Installation Instructions

2. Assemble main arm to closer.
3. Attach closer to frame with speed regulating valves toward hinge.

Installation Instructions

Select the degree of door opening. Use the dimensions shown in the chart and illustrated above to mark the locations for attaching screws on the door and frame holes.

Attach the closer to the door with the speed regulating valves facing the hinge. Attach the main arm as follows:

Place an open-end wrench on the bottom shaft and turn it toward the hinge. Place the main arm on the top shaft, insert the arm screw into the top of the shaft, and tighten.

1. Attach the pa plate to the top frame as shown.
2. Remove the foot from the forearm and discard it.

6. Fasten the forearm to the pa plate.

1. Adjust the length of the forearm to position the main arm parallel to the frame. Connect it to the main arm at the elbow using the washer and screw to provide a secure pivot connection. Tighten the lock nut.
2. Snap the pinion cap over the spindle at the bottom.
