How to activate the self-leveling mode?
Slide the lock switch to the unlocked position. The horizontal lines activate. Use the H (horizontal) and V (vertical) buttons to turn each line on/off individually.
What does the rapid flashing of the laser and beeping mean?
This indicates that the laser level is out of its self-leveling range (3°±1°). Place the unit on a flatter surface or use manual mode.
How to use the pulse mode?
Briefly press the M button to activate pulse mode. The beams become weaker and can be used with a laser receiver for extended range up to 50 m.
How to adjust the brightness of the laser lines?
Press and hold the H button to decrease brightness until the lines turn off. Press and hold the V button to increase brightness to maximum.
What is the battery life?
The Li-ion battery 3.7 V / 5200 mAh provides approximately 6 hours of continuous operation for the CM04 model. Charging time is about 3 hours with the 5 V/1 A charger.
How to clean and maintain the laser level?
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the housing. Never use solvents. Remove moisture before storing. Store in the provided case and remove the battery during long-term storage.
Can I use this laser outdoors?
Yes, but line visibility decreases in direct sunlight. Use a laser detector for range up to 50 m. Outdoors, pulse mode with receiver is recommended.
What to do if the device does not turn on?
Check that the battery is charged and properly inserted. Make sure the lock switch is in the unlocked position. If the problem persists, contact Vevor customer service.
