IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to obey the warnings and instructions may result in electrical shock, fire and/or serious injury.

Note: Save all warnings and instructions.

- Only use the USB charger 40-USB150X with Husqvarna

original batteries. Refer to TECHNICAL DATA on page 10 for specific batteries. The batteries are software encrypted.

• Do not use non-rechargeable batteries.
• Do not try to disassemble or repair the USB charger.
• Do not connect the USB charger terminals to metal objects.
• Use an approved USB power adapter that is not damaged.
• Regularly examine that the USB cable is not damaged.

Immediately disconnect the USB charger if the USB cable is damaged.

• If the USB cable is damaged, replace the USB cable.
• Do not lift the USB charger by the USB cable. To disconnect the USB charger from a power outlet, pull out the power plug.

• Keep all cables and extension leads away from water, oil and sharp edges. Make sure that the USB cable is not caught between doors, fences or equivalent.

• Do not clean the battery or the USB charger with water.

• Do not use a damaged USB charger or battery.
• Do not use the USB charger when there is a risk of lightning.
• Only use the USB charger indoors, such as in a residential location, with an environment of good airflow and correct temperature.

• Keep the USB charger away from sunlight. Do not use the USB charger outdoors or in wet conditions.

• Do not operate the USB charger with wet hands.

• Do not use the USB charger near flammable materials or materials that can cause corrosion. Remove the battery from the USB charger, and disconnect the USB cable from the USB charger if there is smoke or fire.
• Do not put a cover on the USB charger during operation.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack

of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

OPERATION

• Use the USB charger only when the ambient temperature is between -10^ (14°F) and 40^ (104°F).
• The battery does not charge if the battery temperature is more than 50^ (122 °F).
• The battery does not charge if the battery temperature is less than 0^ (32 °F).

To charge a Husqvarna BLi-X 36V battery

CAUTION: Make sure that the battery, the USB charger and the terminals on the battery are clean and dry. Do not connect the battery to the USB charger if it is dirty or wet.

1. Connect the USB charger to a USB power adapter with a USB cable. Make sure that the USB cable is connected to the bi-directional port on the USB charger.
2. Connect the power adapter to a power outlet. The charging indicator on the USB charger flashes red 1 time, green 1 time and yellow 1 time.

CAUTION: Only connect the power adapter to a power outlet with the voltage and frequency specified on the rating plate.

1. Connect a battery to the USB charger. When the battery is correctly connected, the charging indicator on the USB charger shows a green light.

Note: The default mode is to charge a Husqvarna BLi-X 36V battery. As a result, it is not necessary to push the discharge mode button on the USB charger to start charging.

1. Push the battery indicator button on the battery for battery charging status. When all charging indicators on the battery are on, the battery is fully charged.

Note: The charging indicator on the charger stays green during the full charging process.

1. Remove the battery from the USB charger and remove the power adapter from the power outlet.

To charge a USB device

1. Use a USB cable to connect your USB device to a port on the USB charger. Output power is available from both USB ports. Choose the power level that is optimal for your device.

2. Connect a battery to the USB charger. Make sure that the battery is fully seated.

3. Push the discharge mode button on the USB charger. The charging indicator on the USB charger shows a green light and the charging of the USB device starts.

Note: The default mode is to charge a Husqvarna BLi-X 36V battery. As a result, it is necessary to push the discharge mode button on the USB charger to start charging your USB device.

When the charging is completed, long press the discharge mode button until the indicator on the USB charger comes off, or remove the battery from the USB charger. This prevents a loss of battery charging level.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Symptoms Possible faults Possible procedure
The charging indicator on the USB charger is yellow.The temperature indicator on the battery is on, or the error indicator on the battery flashes.	The battery is too hot or too cold to use or charge.	If the battery is too hot, let the temperature of the battery decrease. If the battery is too cold, move it indoors. When the battery has the correct temperature, it can be used or charged again.Obey the temperature range for operation, refer to OP-ERATION on page 7 . Keep the USB charger away from sunlight. If the problem continues, speak to your dealer.
The charging indicator on the USB charger is yellow. The battery error indicator on the battery is on.	The battery has a critical error.	Speak to your dealer.
The charging indicator on the USB charger is red.	The USB charger has a critical error.	Speak to your dealer.

TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

- Disconnect the power plug and remove the battery from the charger.

• Safely attach the product during transportation to prevent damage and accidents.

• Keep the product in a locked area to prevent access for children or persons that are not approved.

• Put the product in a dry, frost-free and clean space with correct temperature.

• Put the product in storage where the temperature is between 5^ (41 °F) and 25^ (77 °F). Keep the product away from sunlight.
• Keep the battery away from the USB charger during storage.

DISPOSAL

Husqvarna products are not domestic waste and must only be discarded as given in this manual.

• Obey the local disposal requirements and applicable regulations.
• Recycle the USB charger and package at an applicable disposal location.
• Speak to your local Husqvarna dealer for more information on how to recycle and discard the battery.

• Nemojte upotrebljavati baterije koje nisu punjive.
• USB punjač nemojte rastavljati niti pokušavati popraviti.
• Priključke USB punjača nemojte spajati metalnim predmetima.
• Upotrebljavajte neoštećen i odobren USB pojni adapter.
• Redovito provjeravajte je li USB kabel neoštećen. Ako je USB kabel oštećen, odmah odspojite USB punjač.
• Ako je USB kabel oštećen, zamijenite USB kabel.
• USB punjač baterije nemojte podizati prihvaćanjem za USB

kabel. Za odspajanje USB punjača od strujne utičnice izvucite utikač.

• Sve kabele i produžne kabele držite podalje od vode, ulja i oštrih rubova. Pazite da USB kabel ne prikliještite vratima, ogradama i nečim sličnim.
• Bateriju ili USB punjač nikada nemojte prati vodom.
