2. If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised service centre in order to avoid all possible risks. Do not twist or kink the power cable.

3. If in doubt, have your electrical installation checked by a qualified electrician.

4. The appliance must not be operated with an external timer or a separate remote control system.

5. It is forbidden to adapt or modify the characteristics of this appliance in any way whatsoever and only use replacement parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer (failure to do so will invalidate the warranty).

6. If the appliance is faulty, switch it off and contact the customer hotline.

7. For any repairs to the appliance, mains plug or cable, always and only contact customer service centres authorised by the manufacturer. You can find the customer service centres online at www.becool.at.

5. Never operate it in damp rooms and do not place the appliance in the immediate vicinity of a bathtub, shower or swimming pool - please observe the minimum distance of approx. 1 metre.

6. Do not place the appliance in the immediate vicinity of a heat source, e.g. a hot hob, an open flame or an oven.

7. Avoid heat build-up by not placing the humidifier directly against a wall or under cupboards or similar.

8. The ideal working environment for the humidifier is a temperature between 15^ and 30^ and a relative humidity below 55% .

9. Excessive operation can lead to oversaturation of the room air with moisture, which can be deposited on walls, windows and objects in the room. Therefore, use a hygrometer to regularly check that the relative humidity value does not exceed 55%.

10. Please note that the escaping vapour could cause damage, so make sure that the mist does not fall on furniture, electrical appliances or other objects.

11. Do not insert any objects into the mist outlet of the humidifier.

12. Fill the water tank with WATER ONLY, do not use essential oils or other additives.

13. Only use fresh drinking water to operate the appliance. If the water is hard and calcareous, you also have the option of using demineralised water.

2. Always switch off the appliance before disconnecting the mains plug.

Commissioning

Installing and operating the BE COOL humidifier is quick and easy:

• Remove the humidifier from the packaging and remove all packaging materials.
• Check the appliance for possible damage.

• Fill the water tank with water up to the MAX mark without allowing it to enter the airways (4).

- Check that the appliance is properly connected to a power source and that the top indicator is flashing red. (1.)

- Press and hold the control button for three seconds. (2.) The appliance switches on and starts working, the displays light up blue and provide information about the current air purification speed. (3.)

Important! When the appliance is switched on for the first time, the air purification speed is automatically set to 50%.

- To adjust the air purification speed, turn the knob clockwise (to increase it) or anti-clockwise (to decrease it) while viewing the displays. (4.)

Important: Five seconds after the last action, a green indicator lights up to show the current humidity level. (5.)

- To switch on the "Warm steam" mode, press the button once. The indicators turn purple and the heating element is switched on.

Important! The appliance consumes more power in "Warm steam" mode. Only use this mode if you require more intensive humidification.

• Empty the water tank of the humidifier and wipe it with a soft cloth.
• Turn the appliance over and place it on a flat surface.
• Assemble the appliance in reverse order and fill the tank with water.

Warning!

To prevent water from getting inside the appliance, do not wash the housing under running water and do not immerse it in water.

With this quality product from BE COOL, you have made a decision in favour of innovation, durability and reliability.

For this BECOOL appliance we grant a warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase valid in Austria! If, contrary to expectations, service work is required on your appliance during this period, we hereby guarantee you a free repair (spare parts and labour) or (at Schuss's discretion) replacement of the product. If neither repair nor replacement is possible for economic reasons, we reserve the right to issue a current value credit note.

In the case of air conditioners, please always contact the customer hotline as a first step (see sticker on the appliance or front page of the operating instructions); in the case of fans, please contact your specialist dealer or us directly. We would like to point out that any repair work not carried out by an authorised workshop in Austria will immediately invalidate this guarantee. This guarantee does not cover

• We do not accept any liability for consequential damage in the event of improper use
• Repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear
• Damage due to non-compliance with the operating instructions
• Devices that are used - even partially - for commercial purposes
• Devices mechanically damaged by external influences (fall, impact, breakage, improper use, etc.) as well as signs of aesthetic wear and tear.

The provision of a warranty service (repair or replacement of the appliance) does not extend the absolute warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

The 2-year guarantee is only valid on presentation of the proof of purchase (must include the name and address of the dealer as well as the complete appliance designation) and the corresponding guarantee certificate, on which the appliance type and the serial number (visible on the box and on the back or bottom of the appliance) must be noted! Without the warranty certificate, only the statutory warranty applies!

We expressly point out that the statutory warranty rights are not affected by this guarantee and remain unaffected.

Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents shall only be liable for damages in the event of gross negligence or wilful intent. Liability for loss of profit, expected but unrealised savings, consequential damage and damage arising from third-party claims is excluded.
