1. Only use the humidifier indoors and do not expose the humidifier to direct sunlight, high temperatures or weather conditions.

2. Place the appliance on an easily accessible, level, dry and heat-resistant surface.

3. Never operate it in damp rooms and do not place the appliance in the immediate vicinity of a bathtub, shower or swimming pool - please observe the minimum distance of approx. 1 metre.

4. Do not place the appliance in the immediate vicinity of a heat source, e.g. a hot hob, an open flame or an oven.

5. Avoid heat build-up by not placing the humidifier directly against a wall or under cupboards or similar.

6. The ideal working environment for the humidifier is a temperature between 15^ and 30^ and a relative humidity below 55% .

7. Excessive operation can lead to oversaturation of the room air with moisture, which can be deposited on walls, windows and objects in the room. Therefore, use a hygrometer to regularly check that the relative humidity value does not exceed 55%.

8. Please note that the escaping vapour could cause damage, so make sure that the mist does not fall on furniture, electrical appliances or other objects.

9. Do not insert any objects into the mist outlet of the humidifier.

10. Fill the water tank with WATER ONLY, do not use essential oils or other additives.

11. Only use fresh drinking water to operate the appliance. If the water is hard and calcareous, you also have the option of using demineralised water.

Carbon filter

Absorbs fine dust particles, unpleasant odours, aerosols, combustion products and gas mixtures.

HEPA H13

Cleans 99.95% of the air by trapping particles as small as 0.06 microns.

Commissioning

Installing and operating the BE COOL humidifier is quick and easy:

Installation

• Remove the humidifier from the packaging and remove all packaging materials.
• Check the appliance for possible damage.

- Choose a safe and stable surface with easy access to the power supply and leave at least 40 cm of free space on each side of the appliance. (1.)

• Remove the cover of the water tank (2.)
• Fill the water tank with water up to the MAX mark without allowing it to enter the airways (4).

Attention!

To prevent damage to the appliance, make sure that no water gets into the airways when filling with water. (4)

• Replace the lid of the water tank by aligning the markings at the top of the air outlet. (5.)
• Connect the plug of the power supply unit to the socket on the device. (6.)

- Turn slightly to open and remove the lid of the flavour oil container (1.)

• Use a dropper to add a few drops to the flavour oil container (2.). Close the container lid and use the appliance as usual.
• If you want to use a different essential oil or the aroma oil container is dirty, turn the lid slightly to open the lid of the aroma oil container and remove it.
• Remove the flavour oil container. Rinse it out with warm water and a neutral detergent and then reinstall it.

- Check that the appliance is properly connected to a power source and that the top indicator is flashing red. (1.)

- Press and hold the control button for three seconds. (2.) The appliance switches on and starts working, the displays light up blue and provide information about the current air purification speed. (3.)

Important! When the appliance is switched on for the first time, the air purification speed is automatically set to 50%.

- To adjust the air purification speed, turn the knob clockwise (to increase it) or anti-clockwise (to decrease it) while viewing the displays. (4.)

Important: Five seconds after the last action, a green indicator lights up to show the current humidity level. (5.)

- Press the control knob once to switch to the mode for presetting the humidity level. The indicators light up green to show the current preset humidity level. (1.)

Cleaning the humidifier: a step-by-step guide

Note: Always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply before cleaning.

• Empty the humidifier chamber and wipe it with a soft cloth.
• Turn the housing over and place it on a flat surface.

- Loosen the fixing screw of the base cover by turning it anti-clockwise and remove the base cover.

- Remove the air filter. Clean it or replace it if it is very dirty. (3.)

Troubleshooting

WARRANTY

With this quality product from BE COOL, you have made a decision in favour of innovation, durability and reliability.

For this BE COOL appliance we grant a warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase valid in Austria! If, contrary to expectations, service work is nevertheless necessary on your appliance during this period, we hereby guarantee you a free repair (spare parts and labour) or (at Schuss's discretion) replacement of the product. If neither repair nor replacement is possible for economic reasons, we reserve the right to issue a current value credit note.

In the case of air conditioners, please always contact the customer hotline as a first step (see sticker on the appliance or front page of the operating instructions); in the case of fans, please contact your specialist dealer or us directly. We would like to point out that any repair work not carried out by an authorised workshop in Austria will immediately invalidate this guarantee.

This guarantee does not cover

• We do not accept any liability for consequential damage in the event of improper use
• Repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear
• Damage due to non-compliance with the operating instructions
• Devices that are used - even partially - for commercial purposes
• Devices mechanically damaged by external influences (fall, impact, breakage, improper use, etc.) as well as signs of aesthetic wear and tear.
• Devices that have been handled improperly
• Devices that have not been opened by our authorised service workshop.
• Damage caused by improperly closed condensation drain valves or incorrectly inserted water tanks.
• Unfulfilled consumer expectations.
• Damage caused by force majeure, water, lightning, overvoltage.
• Devices where the type designation and/or serial number on the device has been changed, deleted, made illegible or removed.
• services outside our authorised workshops, the transport costs to an authorised workshop or to us and back, as well as the associated risks.

We would like to emphasise that within the warranty period, a lump sum of € 60 (indexed based on CPI 2010, June 2015) will be charged in the event of operating errors or if no error is detected.

The provision of a warranty service (repair or replacement of the appliance) does not extend the absolute warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

The 2-year guarantee is only valid on presentation of the proof of purchase (must include the name and address of the dealer as well as the complete appliance designation) and the corresponding guarantee certificate, on which the appliance type and the serial number (visible on the box and on the back or bottom of the appliance) must be noted! Without the warranty certificate, only the statutory warranty applies!

We expressly point out that the statutory warranty rights are not affected by this guarantee and remain unaffected.

Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents shall only be liable for damages in the event of gross negligence or wilful intent. Liability for loss of profit, expected but unrealised savings, consequential damage and damage arising from third-party claims is excluded. Damage to or for recorded data is always excluded from the liability for damages.
