Montaža

Montaža i rad BE COOL perača zraka je brz i jednostavan:

1. Instalacija

• Izvadite perač zraka iz pakiranja i uklonite sav materijal pakiranja.
• Provjerite ima li na uređaju mogućih oštećenja.
• Odmotajte kabel za napajanje i provjerite je li oštećen.
• Postavite ovlaživač zraka na stabilnu, ravnu površinu otpornu na toplinu tako da se ne može prevnuti.
• Sada umetnite utikač u odgovarajuću utičnicu.

Općenito

• Perač zraka optimalno radi na temperaturi okoline od 1°C do 45°C i relativnoj vlažnosti manjoj od 80%RH.
• Ako se perač zraka koristi u zatvorenoj prostoriji ili u okruženju s relativnom vlagom iznad 70% RH, preporučujemo da snagu postavite na nisku.
• Koristite čistu vodu temperature ispod 40°C. (Preporučuje se pročišćena voda).
• Očistite spremnik za vodu prije dugotrajne uporabe.

Rad uređaja

- Podignite gornji dio perača zraka za ručke i napunite spremnik vodom. Razina vode treba biti ispod linije MAX u spremniku.

- Pristup valjkastom filtru: Otvorite uređaj uklanjanjem gornjeg poklopca i, ako je potrebno, poklopca tijela.

- Uklanjanje držača valjka: Pronadite držač valjka koji drži filtar valjka na mjestu. Pažljivo uklonite pričvrsne elemente (eventualno vijke ili kopče) kako biste oslobodili držač romobila.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON SAFETY, POSITIONING AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

1. Only use this appliance in accordance with the guidelines in the operating instructions. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer could result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
2. This appliance is intended exclusively for humidifying living spaces in households and must not be used for any other purpose.
3. Remove the packaging and ensure that the humidifier is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact the service centre or your dealer.
4. Before connecting to the mains, you must check that the type of current and mains voltage match the specifications on the appliance rating plate.
5. The electrical socket into which you connect the appliance must not be defective or loose and must be suitable for the required current load and, above all, reliably earthed.

1. Avoid using an extension cable, as this could overheat and cause a fire.
2. If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised service centre in order to avoid all possible risks. Do not twist or kink the power cable.
3. If in doubt, have your electrical installation checked by a qualified electrician.
4. The appliance must not be operated with an external timer or a separate remote control system.
5. It is forbidden to adapt or modify the characteristics of this appliance in any way and only use spare parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer (failure to do so will invalidate the warranty).
6. If the device is defective, switch it off and contact the customer hotline.
7. For any repairs to the appliance, mains plug or cable, always and only contact customer service centres authorised by the manufacturer. You can find the customer service centres online at www.becool.at.
8. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. - Children must not play with the appliance.
9. In the event of an allergic respiratory disease, consult your doctor before using the device.
10. Consult your doctor if you experience any health problems during use. In this case, stop using the appliance immediately.
11. Do not operate the appliance unattended. If you leave the room, always switch off the appliance.

1. Children must not play with the appliance.
2. Keep children away from packaging material. Choking hazard if swallowed!
3. Only use the humidifier indoors and do not expose the humidifier to direct sunlight, high temperatures or weather conditions.
4. Place the appliance on an easily accessible, level, dry and heat-resistant surface.
5. Never operate it in damp rooms and do not place the appliance in the immediate vicinity of a bathtub, shower or swimming pool - please observe the minimum distance of approx. 1 metre.
6. Do not place the appliance in the immediate vicinity of a heat source, e.g. a hot hob, an open flame or an oven.
7. Avoid heat build-up by not placing the humidifier directly against a wall or under cupboards or similar.
8. The ideal working environment for the humidifier is a temperature between 15°C and 30°C and a relative humidity below 55%.
9. Excessive operation can lead to oversaturation of the room air with moisture, which can be deposited on walls, windows and objects in the room. Therefore, use a hygrometer to regularly check that the relative humidity value does not exceed 55%.
10. Please note that the escaping vapour could cause damage, so make sure that the mist does not fall on furniture, electrical appliances or other objects.
11. Do not insert any objects into the mist outlet of the humidifier.
12. Fill the water tank with WATER ONLY, do not use essential oils or other additives.
13. Only use fresh drinking water to operate the appliance. If the water is hard and calcareous, you also have the option of using demineralised water.

1. Clean the appliance regularly and remove limescale and other deposits to maintain its functionality.
2. Always switch off the appliance before disconnecting the mains plug.
3. Unplug the appliance when it is not in use, before cleaning or when maintenance is required.
4. Do not pull on the mains cable to disconnect the appliance from the mains. Always pull the plug to disconnect the mains cable.
5. Do not touch the plug with wet hands to avoid electric shocks.
6. Never touch the mains plug with wet hands.
7. Always allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it.

FIRE HAZARD & RISK OF OVERHEATING Never cover the appliance and make sure that the air inlet and mist outlet are unobstructed.

SAFETY DISTANCE

Keep a safe distance of at least 1 metre from easily flammable objects such as furniture, curtains, paper, etc.!

ATTENTION

The fog outlet can be rotated. Ensure that the escaping mist is not directed at other electrical appliances, furniture or walls.

USE SITUATION

Ensure that the humidifier is operated on a moisture-resistant surface so that it cannot tip over.

Always position the appliance so that the air can flow in and out unhindered.

Precipitation / deposits may occur, especially when operating with water / flavour essence containing minerals.

Commissioning

Installing and operating the BE COOL air washer is quick and uncomplicated:

1. installation

• Remove the air washer from the packaging and remove all packaging materials.
• Check the appliance for possible damage.
• Unwind the mains cable and also check it for damage.
• Place the humidifier on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface so that it cannot tip over.
• Now plug the mains plug into a suitable socket.

Functional description

On/off button

Press the On/Off button once to start the appliance. Press the button again to switch the appliance off and return to standby mode.

Humidification level

Press once: To display the current level.

Press twice: Activates the maximum fan speed level. The display shows the symbol for the third fan speed level.

Press three times: Activates the lowest fan speed level. The display shows the symbol for the first fan speed level.

Press four times: Activates the middle fan speed level. The display shows the symbol for the second fan speed level.

Sleep/auto mode

When pressed for the first time, the air washer is set to automatic control mode and the "Auto mode" indicator on the digital display lights up. If the relative humidity (RH) is below 60%, the air washer runs at maximum fan speed. If the relative humidity is between 60% and 68% RH, the air washer operates at medium fan speed. At values above 68% RH, the machine operates at minimum fan speed. Press again to deactivate automatic mode and the "Auto mode" display on the digital screen goes out.

Press and hold the "Sleep mode" button: The device switches to "Sleep mode" and all icons on the screen go out after the change. Press and hold the "Sleep mode" button again to exit sleep mode and the corresponding symbol on the digital screen will light up again.

Timer button

Press this button to activate the timer setting function. You can set a time period from 1 to 12 hours. The appliance will stop automatically when the set time has elapsed.

WiFi button

Switch the WiFi on or off.

Humidity button

During operation, pressing the button allows you to set the desired humidity value that you want to achieve. Once the set value has been reached, the air washer will operate in low mode. The humidity range is 40% to 80% relative humidity (RH), but when the appliance is switched on, forced humidification takes place for two minutes. During this time, the appliance will not stop humidifying even if the ambient humidity has reached the set value.

Operation

General information

• The air washer works optimally in an ambient temperature of 1°C to 45°C and a relative humidity of less than 80%RH.
• If the air washer is used in a closed room or in an environment with a relative humidity of over 70%RH, we recommend setting the power to low.
• Use clean water with a temperature below 40^ C. (Purified water is recommended).
• Clean the water tank before long-term use.

Operating the device

• Lift the upper part of the air washer by the handles and fill the tank with water. The water level should be below the MAX line in the tank.
• Insert the plug to switch the device to standby mode.
• Switch on the appliance using the control panel (please follow the instructions for operating the keypad).
• When the water tank is empty, the indicator LED lights up red and the appliance stops. Once water has been added, the appliance returns to operation and retains its previous status.
• To use the aroma function, lift the upper part of the appliance and remove the aroma bowl from the water tank. Add a few drops of flavoured oil, replace the upper part and switch the appliance on. You can then enjoy the fragrance emanating from the appliance. If the appliance is not to be used for a longer period of time, please remove the aroma bowl, clean it and then replace it.

Cleaning the roller filter: a step-by-step guide

Note: Always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply before cleaning.

Removal of the roller filter:

- Access to the roller filter: Open the device by removing the top cover and, if necessary, the body cover.

- Removing the scooter holder: Locate the scooter holder that holds the scooter filter in place. Carefully remove the fastening elements (possibly screws or clips) to release the scooter holder.

- Removing the roller filter: Carefully pull out the roller filter. Take care not to bend or damage the filter.

Dismantling the filter: Carefully separate the individual filter elements if your model allows this. This makes it easier to thoroughly clean each layer.

Cleaning the filter elements:

Prepare the cleaning solution: Fill a large container with water and, if desired, a mild detergent.

Soaking the filter elements: Place the individual filter elements in the cleaning solution and allow them to soak according to the manufacturer's recommendation.

Dirt removal: After soaking, rinse the filter elements carefully but thoroughly to remove all dirt particles. If necessary, use a soft brush to loosen dried dirt.

Drying and reassembly of the roller filter:

Drying the filter elements: Remove the cleaned filter elements from the water and lay them out to dry. The elements should be completely dry before you replace them.

Reassembling the roller filter: Reassemble the dry filter elements and ensure that they are correctly aligned.

Inserting the roller filter: Carefully place the assembled roller filter back into the appliance. Ensure that it is firmly and securely in place.

Fastening the scooter holder: Reattach the scooter holder and fasten it with the previously removed elements.

With this quality product from BE COOL, you have made a decision in favour of innovation, durability and reliability.

For this BECOOL appliance we grant a warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase valid in Austria! If, contrary to expectations, service work is required on your appliance during this period, we hereby guarantee to repair it free of charge (spare parts and labour) or (at Schuss's discretion) to replace the product. If neither repair nor replacement is possible for economic reasons, we reserve the right to issue a current value credit note.

In the case of air conditioners, please always contact the customer hotline as a first step (see sticker on the appliance or front page of the operating instructions); in the case of fans, please contact your specialist dealer or us directly. We would like to point out that any repair work not carried out by an authorised workshop in Austria will immediately invalidate this guarantee.

This guarantee does not cover

• We do not accept any liability for consequential damage in the event of improper use
• Repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear
• Damage due to non-compliance with the operating instructions
• Devices that are used - even partially - for commercial purposes
• Devices mechanically damaged by external influences (fall, impact, breakage, improper use, etc.) as well as signs of aesthetic wear and tear.
• Devices that have been handled improperly
• Devices that have not been opened by our authorised service workshop.
• Damage caused by improperly closed condensation drain valves or incorrectly inserted water tanks.
• Unfulfilled consumer expectations.
• Damage caused by force majeure, water, lightning, overvoltage.

We would like to emphasise that within the warranty period, a lump sum of € 60 (indexed based on CPI 2010, June 2015) will be charged in the event of operating errors or if no error is detected.

The provision of a warranty service (repair or replacement of the appliance) does not extend the absolute warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

The 2-year guarantee is only valid on presentation of the proof of purchase (must include the name and address of the dealer as well as the complete appliance designation) and the corresponding guarantee certificate, on which the appliance type and the serial number (visible on the box and on the back or bottom of the appliance) must be noted! Without the warranty certificate, only the statutory warranty applies!

We expressly point out that the statutory warranty rights are not affected by this guarantee and remain unaffected. Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents shall only be liable for damages in the event of gross negligence or wilful intent. Liability for loss of profit, expected but unrealised savings, consequential damage and damage arising from third-party claims is excluded. Damage to or for recorded data is always excluded from the liability for damages.
