SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read the complete manual prior to commissioning. It contains important notes for correct use. Damage caused by non-observance of this manual will invalidate the warranty! We do not assume any liability for consequential damage!

We do not assume any liability for personal injury or property damage caused by improper use or non-observance of the safety instructions! These cases will invalidate any warranty claim.

• Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not permissible for reasons of safety and approval.
• The product meets the requirements for protection class IP 54. (Protected against damaging amounts of dust and full protection against contact. Protected against access by a wire and protected against splashing water according to DIN EN 60529.) Therefore, the housing must not be opened in any case. Otherwise, this protection may no longer be ensured.
• To avoid eye injury, do not look into the light source and do not direct the light beam to persons and animals.
• The product must be kept out of the reach of children! There is a danger of a life-threatening electric shock.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around. This may become a dangerous toy in the hands of children.
• Avoid the operation under adverse environmental conditions in any case. Adverse environmental conditions include: ambient temperatures above 40^ , flammable gases, solvents, vapours, dust.
• If an operation without risk may supposedly not be guaranteed, the device must be put out of operation and be secured against accidental operation. Secure operation can no longer be assumed if the device does not show signs of working, if there is visible damage, in case of damage during transport, or after storing the unit under unfavourable conditions.
• Only authorised specialists are allowed to carry out service and repair work.

INTENDED USE

This LED work lamp is designed for mobile lighting in indoor and outdoor areas. Any other use than that described above may damage this product. Moreover, hazards such as short-circuit, fire, electric shocks may occur. The entire product must not be modified and/or converted!

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This lamp offers everything an ideal work lamp needs: long run time, useful features, rugged splash-proof housing, easy use, helpful accessories.

The bright 5 W LED generates good working light offering at least 4 hours of operating time at full power. If you do not need bright light, a lower brightness level will extend the run time of your lamp.

Due to the swivel-mounted lamp head, the light beam can be exactly directed onto your work area.

The emergency light function is an essential safety factor in case of mains failure. In flashing mode with mounted diffusing plate (optional accessory), the work lamp can be used as a highly visible warning light.

The optionally available wall / car mount made of metal is a practical solution for the safe storage of the work lamp.

EMERGENCY LIGHT FUNCTION

In case of mains failure, the work lamp is automatically switched on. To use this function, proceed as follows:

1. Connect the power unit with the charging cradle.
2. Switch on the work lamp.
3. Put the switched-on work lamp in the charging cradle – the lamp goes out.

Simulation of the emergency light function: Disconnect the power unit from the 230 V socket. The work lamp is automatically switched on at brightness level 1 (A).

ELECTRONIC DEEP DISCHARGE PROTECTION

This work lamp is equipped with electronic deep discharge protection for the battery. This will extend the service life of the battery and protects the environment.

DISPLAY AND SETTING OPTIONS

Press the mode button (1) to switch the lamp on/off and to select the lighting modes.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

This work lamp includes a maintenance-free lithium-ion battery which can be charged using the enclosed plug-in power unit. As an option, the lamp can also be charged using the 12 V or 24 V DC port in your car. The corresponding charging adapter is optionally available.

• Prior to use, the battery must be charged for approx. 10 hours.
• After use, the work lamp must be reconnected to the power source. The work lamp can permanently remain connected to the power source. The electronic charging circuit offers optimal charging conditions preventing the battery from being overcharged.

Please note the following when charging the battery in the car: Switch off the lamp before placing it in the charging cradle. Otherwise, if the lamp is on and the ignition of your car is off, the emergency light function is activated and the battery of your work lamp is discharged.

ADVICE ON ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

At the end of its service life, do not dispose of this product in normal household waste but take it to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic devices. The symbol on the product, in the manual or on the packaging is an indication for this. The materials can be recycled as indicated. By reusing or recycling old equipment or making use of it in other ways you are making an important contribution to protecting our environment. Please ask your local authorities for the appropriate disposal point.

Ladestation

To ensure the IP 54 protection, the work lamp can only be charged in the charging cradle.

If you would like to use and charge the lamp in different locations, the purchase of a second charging cradle is recommended.
