How to install the battery pack on the vacuum cleaner?

Insert the battery pack into the battery holder on the device until it latches. To remove it, press the release button and pull.

What is the runtime of the vacuum cleaner?

The runtime depends on the battery used: with the Battery Power 36/50, about 19 min at full load and 43 min in Eco mode; with the Battery Power+ 36/60, 22 min / 50 min; with the Battery Power+ 36/75, 31 min / 66 min.

How to activate Eco mode?

Operate the Eco switch on the device. The blue light ring turns on to indicate that the energy-saving mode is activated, which reduces suction power and increases runtime.

How to clean the permanent filter basket?

Unlock and remove the suction head. Turn it 180°, unlock the basket and remove it. Wash it with running water, let it dry completely, then put it back and lock the suction head.

When should the filter bag be replaced?

Replace the felt filter bag when it is full or when suction power decreases. Open the suction head, remove the bag, close the tab, insert a new bag by pushing the opening onto the connection piece.

How to replace the exhaust air filter?

Unlock and remove the exhaust grille. Take out the filter frame, remove the old filter, insert the new one, put the frame back and lock the grille. Change it at least once a year.

What to do if the vacuum cleaner suddenly stops?

This may be due to motor overheating (thermoprotector). Check for blockages, replace the filter bag, the motor protection filter or the exhaust air filter, then restart the device.

Can I use the vacuum cleaner to vacuum hazardous dust?

No, the appliance is not designed for vacuuming hazardous dust. It is intended for dry cleaning of floors and wall surfaces in professional environments.

How to store the vacuum cleaner?

Store the device in a dry room indoors. Remove the battery pack to prevent discharge. Place it in a secure location to prevent unauthorized use.

3. Insert the HEPA filter (special accessory).

2. Fit the fleece filter bag. Pull the opening of the filter bag completely over the shoulder of the suction hose port.

Operation

Switching the device on

1. Switch on the device at the main switch.

Eco mode

Eco button (energy-saving mode): The device works with reduced suction performance. The battery run time is extended.

1. To activate Eco-mode: Actuate the Eco switch. The illuminated ring of the Eco switch lights up blue.
2. To switch off Eco-mode: Actuate the Eco switch repeatedly. The blue illuminated ring goes out.

Adjusting the suction power

1. Regulate the suction power on the suction control.

Cleaning mode

Note

When cleaning textile floor coverings, the battery run time is shorter than when cleaning hard surfaces.

1. Set the floor nozzle switch to hard surface or carpet.
2. Perform cleaning.

Switching off the device

1. Switch off the device at the main switch.

After each operation

1. Empty the container.
2. Vacuum the inside and outside of the device and clean with a moist cloth.

Storing the device

1. Store the device in a dry room and secure it against unauthorised use.

Cleaning the permanent filter basket

Never insert the permanent filter basket when wet.

1. Unlock and remove the suction head.
2. Turn the suction head by 180 degrees and set it down.
3. Unlock and remove the permanent filter basket.
4. If necessary, clean the permanent filter basket (washable) under running water and let it dry.
5. Fit the permanent filter basket and snap it into place.
6. Fit the suction head and lock.

Changing the filter bag

1. Unlock and remove the suction head.
2. Remove the fleece filter bag from the suction hose port.

2. Fit a new fleece filter bag. Pull the opening of the filter bag completely over the shoulder of the suction hose port.
3. Fit the suction head and lock.

Replacing the exhaust filter

Exhaust filter: replace as required, but at least once a year

1. Unlock and remove the exhaust grille.
2. Remove the exhaust gas filter casing.
3. Remove the exhaust filter from the exhaust gas filter casing.
4. Insert a new exhaust filter in the exhaust filter casing.
5. Insert the exhaust gas filter casing.
6. Attach and lock the exhaust grille.

Replacing HEPA filter (optional accessory)

HEPA filter: replace as required, but at least once a year

1. Unlock and remove the exhaust grille.
2. Remove the HEPA filter (special accessories).
3. Insert a new HEPA filter (special accessory).
4. Attach and lock the exhaust grille.

Replacing the motor protection filter

1. Unlock and remove the suction head.
2. Turn the suction head by 180° and set it down.
3. Unlock and remove the permanent filter basket.
4. Remove the motor protection filter.
5. Fit a new motor protection filter.
6. Fit the permanent filter basket and snap it into place.
7. Fit the suction head and lock.

The device stops during operation

The motor thermo-protector has triggered.

1. Check all parts for clogging.
2. Change the fleece filter bag.
3. Replace the motor protection filter.
4. Replace the exhaust filter or the HEPA filter (optional accessory).
5. Switch the device on again.

Suction force decreases.

1. Remove all blockages from the suction nozzle, the suction pipe or the suction hose.
2. Change the fleece filter bag.
3. Clean the permanent filter basket under running water and allow to dry.
4. Position/lock the suction head correctly.
5. Replace a defective suction hose.
6. Replace the motor protection filter.

Escaping dust when vacuuming.

1. Check the fit of the fleece filter bag.
2. Change the fleece filter bag.
3. Position/lock the suction head correctly.
4. Clean the permanent filter basket under running water and allow to dry.
5. Insert a new permanent filter basket.
6. Correctly insert the motor protection filter or replace.

Suction turbine does not start up

1. Allow an overheated board to cool down.
2. Charge the battery pack.
3. Insert the battery pack.
4. Turn on the device again.
