2. Safety of use

CAUTION! Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or even death.

The term "appliance" or "product" in the warnings and in the description of the instructions refers to the CRANE PADS - 4PCS.

2.1. Safety

a) Keep the work area tidy and well lit. Disorder or poor lighting can lead to accidents. Be foresighted, watch what you are doing and use common sense when using the unit.

b) If damage is found, contact the manufacturer's service department.

c) No children or unauthorized persons are allowed in the work area. (Inattention may result in loss of control of the unit.)

d) Keep these instructions for use for future reference. If the unit is to be passed on to a third party, the operating instructions must also be handed over together with the unit.

e) Do not operate this unit if you are tired, ill or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication that could impair your ability to operate the unit.

f) The product may be operated by persons who are physically fit, capable of operating it and appropriately trained, and who have read this instruction manual and have been trained in occupational safety and health.

g) The product is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced mental, sensory or intellectual functions or persons who lack experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised or have been instructed by a person responsible for their safety on how to operate the machine.

h) The unit may be operated by persons who are physically fit, capable of operating it and appropriately trained, and who have read this instruction manual and have been trained in occupational safety and health.
i) Use caution and common sense when operating this appliance. A moment's inattention during operation may result in serious personal injury.
j) Do not overestimate your capabilities. Maintain body balance and equilibrium at all times during operation. This allows for better control of the machine in unexpected situations.
k) Keep unused equipment out of the reach of children and out of the reach of anyone unfamiliar with the unit or this instruction manual. These units is dangerous in the hands of inexperienced users.
I) Keep the unit in good working condition. Inspect before each operation for damage (cracks or any other condition that may affect the safe operation of the unit).
m) Clean the unit regularly to prevent permanent dirt build-up.
n) Keep the unit away from sources of fire and heat.
o) Do not overload the unit.
p) Exceeding the maximum allowable user weight may result in product damage.

3. Rules of use

The product is used to immobilize, secure, stabilize machinery on a demanding surface.

It is designed for stabilizer feet of cranes, excavators, trucks, etc.

The user is responsible for any damage resulting from misuse.

POSITIONING OF THE UNIT

The device should always be used on a level, stable surface, ensuring that the underlay adheres to the substrate with its entire surface.

The load-bearing capacity of the pads is guaranteed by maintaining the design proportions. The contact area between the stabilizer foot (2) and the pad (1) must not be less than 1/3 of the pad area.

The pad underneath the stabilizer legs must be centered.

CAUTION! Always select the base plate according to the load capacity of the unit!

The sub-floor under the base plate must be checked especially during heavy rainfall.

3.3. Cleaning and maintenance

a) After each cleaning, all the parts should be dried well before the unit is used again.

b) Store the unit in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct sunlight.

c) Perform regular inspections of the unit checking technical fitness and any damages.
d) Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
e) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects (e.g. a wire brush or metal spatula) for cleaning, as these may damage the surface of the material from which the unit is made.
f) Do not clean the unit with acidic substances, medical products, diluent, fuel, oil or other chemicals as this may cause damage to the unit.
