SOMMAIRE

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

  • Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded.
  • This product is designed only for household use. It is not suitable for commercial or industrial use.
  • Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec in order to avoid any type of danger.

  • Do not use the device if it has been dropped or if there are any visible signs of damage.

  • Do not try to repair the device by yourself. Contact the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec for advice.
  • Do not use lubricants or cleaning agents to clean the device.
  • Do not use any accessory that has not been recommended by Cecotec, as they might cause injuries or damage.
  • Do not place the appliance close to heat sources, flammable substances, wet surfaces where it can fall or be pushed into water or allow it to come into contact with water or other liquids. Do not operate it outdoors.
  • Do not use the appliance to vacuum liquids, lighted matches, cigarette ends, hot ash or on wet surfaces.
  • Do not use on concrete, tarmac or other rough surfaces.
  • Remove from inside the device anything thicker than a straw as it may block the suction tube.
  • Stop using the device if you detect an abnormal sound or a temperature higher than usual.
  • Keep the air outlet unblocked to avoid losing suction power.
  • Check the tubes from time to time to make sure they are not clogged.
  • Take special care when using the device to clean stairs.
  • Do not block the appliance's openings or hinder air flow. Keep openings free of any objects, and do not block them with clothes or your fingers.
  • Turn off and unplug the appliance from the mains supply when it is not going to be used for a long period of time, before cleaning or repairing, before attaching components and before removing the battery.
  • Never modify the charger in any way.
  • Do not use any battery that has not been provided with the original product or by Cecotec.

  • You must remove the battery from the device before disposing of it.

  • The battery must be disposed of in a safe manner (for more information check the 'Disposal of electrical appliances' section).
  • Keep batteries out of the reach of children when there is a risk of ingestion.
  • Rechargeable batteries must be removed before charging them.
  • Battery ingestion can cause burns, soft tissue perforation and death. It can cause severe burns within two hours of the ingestion.
  • In case of battery ingestion please seek medical help immediately.
  • Use the charger provided for an optimum charge.
    WARNING: To recharge the battery, use only the power supply included with the device.
  • Non rechargeable batteries should not be d.
  • The battery supply terminals must not be short-circuited.
  • If the device is stored for a long period of time, you should remove the battery.
  • Battery must be inserted in the correct position.
  • The battery terminals must not be short-circuited.
  • Batteries not suitable for this product must be removed from the device and disposed of in a safe manner. For more information, check the 'Disposal of electrical appliances' section in this manual.
  • WARNING: This tube has electrical connections:
  • Do not use it to vacuum water;
  • Do not immerse it in water to clean it;
  • The tube must be checked regularly and should not be used

if damaged.

- WARNING: Your device has rotating parts which may cause a risk of entrapment. Exercise extreme caution.

- Do not carry the battery by the cord or coil the cord around the battery to store it.

- Pull from the plug, not the cord, to disconnect it from the outlet.

- Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children.

Battery instructions

- The device includes a lithium-ion battery.

- Do not burn or expose the battery to high temperatures, as it may explode.

- Leaks from the battery or battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the battery. If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, flush them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of immediately in

accordance with local regulations.

- Avoid contact between the battery and small metallic objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails or screws.

2. BEFORE USE

- Take the product out of the box.

Check for any visible damage. If any is observed, contact as soon as possible the Technical Support Service of Cecotec for advice or reparation.

3. PRODUCT ASSEMBLY

Vacuuming tube and brush head assembly

  • To install the brush head into the vacuuming tube, align both of them making sure the tab on the brush head matches the guides on the tube, and introduce one into the other until they are firmly fixed. To disassemble them, press the brush head release button and pull from the vacuuming tube while you hold the brush head.
  • When assembling these two parts, make sure the handle and the brush head are facing the same direction.

Battery assembly

  • Insert the battery into the slot in the main body. Once inserted, check that it is securely in position. Fig. 3
  • Following the below illustration, keep the vacuuming tube vertically, align the tab on the vacuuming tube with the guides in the main body and introduce the tube.

Dust tank assembly

  • To make the dust tank assembly and disassembly easier, we recommend you separate first the main body from the vacuuming tube.
  • Then, press the vacuuming tube release button with one hand and, holding from the handle with the other one, turn the dust tank anticlockwise to the unlock position indicated on the dust tank edge. Fig. 4

To complete the installation of the device, hold the vacuuming tube with the brush head assembled upright and introduce the tube in the main body as shown on the illustration. Fig. 5

4. OPERATION

You can use this vacuum cleaner in two different manners:

  • Handheld vacuum cleaner, attaching the accessories directly to the main body.
  • Upright vacuum cleaner, using the vacuuming tube with the accessories assembled.

Handheld vacuum cleaner

Once you have removed the main body from the vacuuming tube:
- Press the On/off button to turn the device on.
- Press the power push button to select the desired power level. Fig. 6 and 7
- It will automatically operate in Eco mode. The power level can be adjusted at any moment by pressing this button.

ENGLISHENGLISH

  • Press once to switch to Daily mode.
  • Press again to operate it at Turbo mode.
  • Press the power button to switch the device off.

Upright vacuum cleaner

  • Press the On/off button to turn the device an.
  • Press the power push button to select the desired power level. Fig. 6 and 7
  • It will automatically operate in Eco mode. The power level can be adjusted at any moment by pressing this button.
  • Press once to switch to Daily mode.
  • Press again to operate it at Turbo mode.
  • Press the power button to switch the device off.
  • The vacuum cleaner has an Auto mode, which is automatically activated when it detects a carpet or a large amount of dirt.

Accessories

This device includes different accessories that allow cleaning different types of surfaces, objects and dirt. Some of them are suitable for the upright vacuum cleaner, and others are preferably used with the handheld one.

Jaliscazo brush

Assemble this brush to the upright vacuum cleaner. This brush is especially designed for cleaning hard floors, but can be used to clean efficiently soft floors too.

2-in-1 wide brush for furniture and corners

This accessory is preferably used with the handheld vacuum cleaner and allows cleaning furniture without damaging it and reaching less accessible dirt in corners.

2-in-1 narrow brush for furniture and corners

This accessory is preferably used with the handheld vacuum cleaner and allows cleaning furniture without damaging it and reaching less accessible dirt in corners. Fig. 9

Wall bracket

  • This product includes a wall bracket that allows hanging the vacuum cleaner from the wall in an upright position. The same bracket has different accessory holders that allow storing accessories while not in use.
  • You can install it to the wall using screws or an adhesive.
  • When using the adhesive, make sure to use it on a clear flat surface. Also make sure that the brush head rests on the floor when hanging the device.
  • If not, it may fall. Fig. 10

Charge

  • The device can be charged in two different ways. It can be charged directly through the handheld vacuum cleaner or the battery can be removed and charged separately.
  • It is important to charge it when the battery is low.
  • The battery indicator will light up in solid red when charging is in progress.
  • Disconnect it from the power adapter when the battery indicator is lit up in green. Fig. 11

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Turn the appliance off, unplug it from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning it.
  • Use a soft, slightly dampened cloth to clean the surface of the device.
  • Never immerse the device in water or other liquids, do not allow liquids to enter the device.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the product.
  • Do not leave the device exposed to direct sunlight.
  • Do not leave the device in a wet place after cleaning it.

Emptying the dust tank

  • First, remove the main body from the rest of the equipment. Use the tab on the dust tank to open its cover and empty it. If necessary, shake it gently to remove all the dust.
  • To clean, press the dirt tank release button and turn the dirt tank counterclockwise to the unlocked position.
  • Remove it. Use water to rinse it. If necessary, clean it with soap to remove all the dust.
  • Recommendation: It is suggested to clean the dust tank after each use. Fig. 13

Cleaning and maintenance of the filters

It is suggested to clean the filters regularly to ensure maximum efficiency. They can be cleaned with warm water. Dry them thoroughly before installing them back in the device.

How to remove the metal filter

  • Open the dust tank following the instructions on the previous section.
  • Inside the dust tank you will find the metal filter.
  • To remove the metal filter, turn it counterclockwise so that the arrow icon on the filter itself points to the second mark. This will be the unlocked position. Fig. 14
  • To reassemble the metal filter, turn it clockwise, placing the arrow on the second mark and slide it to the first mark. This will be the locked position. Fig. 15
  • Unscrew the plastic cyclone and remove it too. Fig. 16

  • Pull the top tab of the main body and remove the high efficiency filter.
  • Separate the filter from the cover by turning clockwise.

Cleaning the filters

  • Clean with warm water.
  • Allow them to dry completely before installing and using them again.

Jaliscazo brush

  • Move the rotary brush release button with the finger toward the arrow and remove the cover of one of the ends of the brush.
    Take one end of the brush out as shown on the image. Fig. 18
  • It is important to clear and clean all the residues left in the brush's rotary axis.
  • After washing and drying all the parts, assemble it back in order to use the brush again.
