USER MANUAL Crystal TOW004711 Medel

- The scale will be slippery when it is wet. Keep it dry! This product can only be used by static pressure. To avoid breaking by striking, shocking or dropping. Clean your scale with a damp cloth but avoid water getting inside the scale. Do not use chemical cleaning agents. The scale should not be soaked by water.

- Keep your scale in a cool place with dry air instead of humid or hot place. Keep the scale in horizontal position.

This scale can only be used for weighing human body. Do not use it for commercial purpose. Treat your scale carefully. Do not drop it or jump on it.

2. INSTRUCTION

NOTE:

Before using the scale, remove the plastic foil to activate lithium cells or the scale will not operate.

1) The scale should be placed on a hard flat surface. Never touch any other object
2) Put your feet evenly on the glass surface without moving and wait or impact your weighing accuracy.
3) If you remain standing on the scale after your weight has shown, your weight will continue to display for 10 seconds and then turn off automatically.
4) If you step off of the scale immediately after your weight has displayed, your weight will continue to display for 10 seconds before returning to zero and then turn off automatically.
6) While the scale is turnoff, turn the scale over and slide the only switch located in the battery compartment. The scale will choose and remember weighing unit « kg; lb and st » in turn.

ATTENTION!

If not in use for long term, make sure no objects on the surface of the scale then tap on the lower corner of the scale. The scale will calibrate the zero point till "0.0" Appearance.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Never use chemical impregnant to clean the scale. Please use a damp cloth to clean the surface, but avoid the water getting inside the scale.

Maintenance:

a) The scale will be slippery when it is wet. Keep it dry!
b) Do not drop it or jump on it.
c) Avoid breaking the scale by striking, shocking or dropping.
d) Keep the scale in horizontal position.
e) Please remove the batteries if it is not in use for a long time.
f) Try to use the scale in same condition to differentiate the weight of body in different period.

6. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS

How to replace the battery:

Open the battery compartment, remove the battery from the compartment and disconnect it. Connect up the new battery, being careful to comply with connection polarity. Close the cover.

8. WARRANTY CERTIFICATE

Warranty conditions

• The device is covered by a 2 years warranty from date of purchase for any defects in the design or in the materials used.
• The warranty consists in the replacement and/or repair free of charge of originally effective components.
• The warranty does not cover the accessories supplied with the device and those parts subject to normal wear and tear.
• The device must be repaired by authorized technical service centres only.
• The device must be sent to the authorized service centre for repair within 8 days after the defect is noticed.
• The transport costs for the device are at user's charge.
• Any repair out of the warranty conditions are at user's charge.
• The warranty does not cover failures resulting from misuse, abuse of the product or in case the damage is not due to manufacturer's liability (accidental fall, rough transportation, etc.).
• The warranty does not involve any compensation for any kind of damages to persons or things, either direct or indirect, occurred when the device is not operating.
• The warranty is valid from the date of purchase certified by the ticket or the invoice which have to be peremptorily attached to the warranty coupon.
• The lack of warranty coupon properly filled in and validated by a certification of purchase voids the warranty.
