Getting started

• Take the appliance out of the box.
- Remove all the packaging from the product.
- Place the packaging inside the box or dispose of it safely in compliance with the waste sorting instructions shown on the outside.

Safety warning and notice

You must read and understand all the instructions before using this appliance. The warranty will not apply if damage is caused by failure to follow the instructions.

1. Never remove the appliance casing.
2. Never place this appliance on top of other electrical equipment.
3. Protect the power cord from being stepped on or pinched, particularly at the plugs, sockets, and the point where it exits the appliance. Make sure that the power rating corresponds to the voltage shown on the rating plate at the rear of the appliance. Always pull the plug from the socket when disconnecting from the mains. Never pull on the cord. Ensure you have completed all the other connections before connecting the mains plug.
4. Only use attachments/accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer.

5. Entrust all appliance repairs to qualified repairers. Repair is needed when since has been damaged in any fashion, and in particular:

16. Always unplug the device before cleaning it. Never lubricate any part of this appliance.

Clean it with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive products or harsh cleaners.

1. Ensure that you always have easy access to the power cord, plug or adapter to disconnect this appliance from the mains if necessary.

2. Do not use this appliance near water. It must not be dripped on or splashed. Do not use this appliance in a damp or wet environment.

3. Disconnect this appliance in the event of a storm, or if you intend not to use it for a long period of time.

4. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and over, and by persons with a physical or sensory disability, learning difficulties or a lack of experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised or have received instructions on the safe use of the appliance, and they understand the risks involved. Children must not play with the appliance or the power cord (risk of strangulation). Children must not clean or maintain the appliance without supervision.

5. This device must only be supplied with very low safety voltage as indicated on the device.

6. The battery should be removed from the device before disposal. The device must be disconnected from the power supply when removing the battery.

7. When in operation, the appliance must be at a minimum distance of 20 cm from the human body.

8. This device is for household use only; do not use outdoors.

Product features

1. 【💡】: Long press to turn on/off. (Press and hold for 10 seconds to restore to factory settings.)
2. 【ECHO】: Short press to activate the echo effect.
3. 【VOLUME】: Turn the volume control clockwise to increase and counterclockwise to decrease the volume.

4. 【M】: Press briefly to scroll through the operating modes. Bluetooth, AUX-in, USB, micro-SD card.
   Long press for pairing function.

5. 【▷】: Short press to play or pause.

In Bluetooth mode, long press on the play button to disconnect Bluetooth.

1. 【☀️】: Lighting is on by default, Short press to scroll through different lighting modes. Long press to turn off the lighting, short press to turn it back on.

2. 【BASS Boost】: Press briefly to enhance the bass effect.

3. 【<】: Press briefly to return to the previous track. In USB or micro-SD card mode, press and hold for quick return.

4. 【>】: Short press to move to the next track. In USB or micro SD card mode, press and hold for fast forward.

5. 【AUX】: AUX audio input.

6. 【USB】: Insert a USB key to play MP3 music tracks (maximum capacity for USB of 64 GB, does not work beyond 64 GB).
7. 【TF】: Insert a micro-SD card to play MP3 tracks (maximum capacity for 64 GB micro-SD card, does not work beyond 64 GB).
8. 【MIC】: Plug in a wired microphone for karaoke mode.
9. 【Charging indicator light】: The red light goes on during charging, and goes out when charging is complete.
10. 【DC IN】: Charging port: Connect a USB-C charging cable to the mains adapter for charging.

Connecting a Bluetooth device.

Turn on to enter Bluetooth mode. Then search for PARTYBTHPMAX in your mobile device Bluetooth settings. If a message asks you for the pairing password, enter '0000' and click confirm connection.

Pairing a Bluetooth device

1. In Bluetooth mode, press and hold the M/TWS button on each speaker at the same time. An audio chime will be heard. Then connect your device (phone, tablet, etc.) to PARTYBTHPMAX. Long press again to disconnect the paired device.
2. The optimal connection distance between two Bluetooth speakers is about 5 metres.

How to record

1. Insert a micro-SD card or USB media.
2. Insert a wired microphone (into the microphone socket).
3. Short press the Record button to start recording your voice. Short press again to stop recording and listen to it. You can navigate between recordings using the << and >> buttons, and delete a recording by holding the record button for 5 sec. To return to USB or Bluetooth drive mode, press the Mode button. Please note: You cannot record music in this mode.

Loading Instructions

1. To preserve battery performance, avoid using the appliance while charging.
2. To charge the device, use the 18 W charger with the USB-C charging cable. The red light goes on during charging, and goes out when charging is complete.
3. If the battery level is below 15%, a low battery alarm will sound.

1. Under normal circumstances, the remote control should be used within range, which is approximately 6 metres and 30 degrees from the device's receiver.
2. When using the remote control, aim at the device's receiver. There must be a clear line of sight between the remote control and the device.
3. The remote control may malfunction if the device's receiver is placed under strong lighting. In this case, please move the device to avoid direct exposure.
4. Please check the remote control's batteries regularly and replace them if necessary. Never mix new and used batteries in the remote control.

Troubleshooting

1. The unit automatically turns off as soon as it is turned on.

Please make sure the charging cable is plugged in properly and is not damaged. Use the 18 W adapter to charge the device.

Make sure that a Bluetooth device is paired, that it is in playback mode, and that the volume is not set to minimum.

1. The speaker makes no sound in micro-SD/USB mode

Verify that the microSD card or USB stick is inserted correctly into the correct port that the music format of the microSD card or USB stick is appropriate, and the volume of the device is not set to the minimum (Note: Micro-SD cards/USB sticks mainly play MP3 compressed audio files and WMA Lossless audio files).

1. Recording is not working

Check for sufficient space on the micro-SD card or USB stick, and delete files to free up space if necessary. You must be in micro-SD card or USB stick mode to record, and insert a wired microphone or turn on a wireless microphone.

In Bluetooth mode, if the speaker is not connected to a Bluetooth device and there is no action for 15 minutes, the speaker goes into power-saving mode and turns off automatically.

Warning about batteries

This product contains one or more batteries.

- Use batteries correctly to prevent any injury or fire caused by a leak, overheating, explosion, erosion or other damage.

• Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children or any vulnerable person. Stop using the device if the battery compartment does not close properly.
• If the liquid from an alkaline battery comes into contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with fresh water and consult a physician.
• If an alkaline battery leaks, clean the liquid with a cloth and replace the battery with a new one.
• Do not swallow batteries. If swallowed, a battery can cause severe internal burns in 2 hours and can cause death. If batteries are swallowed, contact a poison centre immediately and consult a physician.
• Use AA Ni-MH, alkaline or lithium batteries.
• Do not charge these batteries. Charging non-rechargeable batteries generates gas or heat emissions that can cause explosions or fires.
• Do not use different types of batteries or a mixture of new and old batteries.
• Insert the batteries according to the correct polarity (+ and -).
• Do not allow the same battery poles to be in contact.
• Remove spent batteries quickly. There is a risk of the battery exploding if it is not replaced or if the appliance is unused for a long period of time.
• Replace the battery with an identical or equivalent model.
• The batteries (or battery pack) must not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunlight, fire, etc.
• Do not heat batteries or dispose of them in a fire or in water.
• Do not use metal pliers or metal objects such as the point of a pen or tweezers to remove batteries. Avoid deforming, crushing or piercing batteries.
• Do not disassemble the batteries.
• Cover the ends of the batteries with tape to prevent explosions and combustion when these are scrapped.
• Scrap batteries and an environmentally friendly way.
• Do not dispose of batteries in ordinary household waste.
• Be sure to comply with the local recycling regulations when scrapping batteries.

Note: the maximum connection distance is approximately 10 metres. Place your Bluetooth speaker as close as possible to the device to avoid disruption of the connection.

The device may turn off in an environment with electrostatic discharge. The user must then recharge the battery and reset the device.
