This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Blades are sharp and could cause harm, be careful and avoid direct con- tact with the blades’ cutting edges. Pay special attention when handling the blades, during assembly and disassembly operations, emptying the bowl and during cleaning. Always switch off the a+ppliance and disconnect from supply if it is left unattended and before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use, assembling, disassem- bling and cleaning. Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor or blender as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming. If the connection to the mains has been damaged, it must be replaced, take the appliance to an authorised technical support service. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the appliance by yourself in order to avoid a hazard. This appliance is for household use only, not professional, industrial use. Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance. Connect the appliance to a socket that can supply a minimum of 10 amperes. described in the cleaning section. Prepare the appliance according to the function you wish to use. Use: Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in. Connect the appliance to the mains. Turn the appliance on using the on/off switch. In the model with speed control regulator, select the desired speed. Work with the food you want to process. Electronic speed control (MODEL BXH- BA600E): The speed of the appliance can be regulated simply by using the speed regulator control (A). This function is very useful, as it makes it possible to adapt the speed of the appliance to the type of work that needs to be done. Turbo function (MODEL BXHBA600E): The appliance has a Turbo function. By activating the Turbo function (C) all the power of the motor becomes available, thus obtaining a ner nish in the nal texture of the product. Once you have nished using the appliance: Stop the appliance by releasing the pressure on the on/ off button. Unplug the appliance to the mains. Clean the appliance Accessories: Stick blender accessory (Fig.1): This accessory is used to make sauces, soups, mayon- naise, milkshakes, baby food... Attach the stick blender to the motor body by turning it in the direction indicated by the arrow (Fig. 1.1). Pour the foodstuffs into the measuring cup and operate it by pressing the start button. Detach the stick blender by turning it in the opposite direction to the arrow and remove it for later cleaning. Chopping accessory (MODEL BXHBA600E) (Fig.2): This accessory is used to chop vegetables, nuts, meat… Fit the adapter tting to the motor unit by turning it in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 2.1). Attach the unit to the cover until hear the clic (Fig. 2.2). Put the food to be prepared in the chopping container and attach the cover rmly. Switch the appliance on (be careful: do not switch the appliance on if the whole unit is not properly tted and connected together). Stop the appliance when the food reaches the desired texture. Detach the unit from the lid, and release the adapter tting. Whisk accessory (Fig.3): This accessory is used to whip cream, beat egg whites… Insert the whisk into the adapter tting. Fit the adapter tting to the motor unit by turning it in the direction of the arrow. (Fig. 3.1). Place the food in a wide container and turn on the device. For optimum results, move the whisk clockwise. Remove the whisk accessory and release the adapter tting (Fig. 3.2). Note1: Do not work at high speeds with this accessory attached, as this would cause defects in the whisk (spinning its wires). Note2: To free the whisk (H) from the adapter tting (I), pull the ring on the whisk. CLEANING Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task. Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry. Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance. Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water. During the cleaning process, take special care with the blades, as they are very sharp. It is advisable to clean the appliance regularly and remove any food remains. If the appliance is not in good condition of cleanliness, its surface may degrade and inexorably affect the duration of the appliance’s useful life and could become unsafe to use.
