13. INTRODUCTION AND SAFETY
General information Read this original instruction manual carefully before using the product for the first time and follow all instructions. Keep the document in a safe place for future reference or for subsequent owners. Familiarise yourself with the functions and proper use of the product. Observe all safety instructions listed in the service manual. Always act responsibly and considerately towards third parties. The operator is responsible for accidents or hazards caused to third parties.
14. SCOPE OF DELIVERY
(1) Child transport trolley (2) Fabric roof (depending on model*) (3) Interior extension (depending on model**)
- Read the instructions carefully before use and follow all instructions to ensure the safety of the child.
- The trolley is only suitable for transporting children aged 3 to 6 years, with a maximum of 2 children at a time.
- In addition, the trolley can be used to transport items weighing up to a total of 75 kg, e.g. beach equipment, groceries or similar items.
- The sun canopy (depending on model*) provides shade and protects against direct sunlight. It can be removed if necessary.
- The integrated basket on the back of the trolley is permanently attached and cannot be lost. The fabric insert is removable and can be cleaned if necessary. Note: In rare cases, the textiles may have a slight odour due to transport. If this is the case when unpacking, we recommend airing the trolley thoroughly first. If the odour comes from the textiles, they can be gently cleaned by hand if necessary. Warning
- Before using the trolley, check that all components are correctly assembled and securely fastened.
- The trolley may only be used on level surfaces.
- Always help children get in and out of the trolley.
- The child must be strapped in as soon as you leave the trolley. Regularly check that the metal ring of the seat belt is securely fastened in the restraint system.
- If the model has a parking brake, activate it when the child is getting in and out. To do this, press the brake pedal.
- The bag on the rear basket may be loaded with a maximum of 3 kg.
- Do not place it on the car.
- Do not use a restraint system for small children.
- Never leave children unattended.
- Do not place the trolley on the edge to prevent it from tipping over.
- Do not drive or pull the trolley with the wheels against raised surfaces (e.g. kerbs), as this may bend or break the axle. Damage caused by non-compliance is not covered by the warranty. o Note: To negotiate a raised surface, align both front wheels parallel to the edge and lift the trolley slightly. Proceed in the same way when descending and support the trolley additionally.
- Do not lean on the rear push handle (depending on model***) or place heavy loads on it. The handle is designed for comfortable handling, but is not as stable as a pram handle. Excessive pressure can damage the joints.Manual_FX-CT_Series_Int24_rev13
- The interior extension (depending on model**) is clipped onto the outside of the frame and is not suitable for storing bags or similar items. Weights over 2 kg can damage the fastenings and should therefore be avoided.
CLEANING To clean the child transport trolley, please first remove any coarse dirt or foreign objects and then clean the fabric with a damp cloth. Please do not use cleaning agents or other chemicals to clean the product. The fabric cover is not machine washable – it can only be washed by hand.
