How to install the R7060 timer?
Attach the timer to an outdoor faucet using the female 3/4" connector with O-ring. Make sure the O-ring is properly seated to prevent leaks. Then screw the garden hose onto the male or Quick-Click outlet.
What type of batteries to use?
Use two AA 1.5V alkaline batteries. Do not mix new and old batteries. Replace them each season or when the display is weak.
How to program watering schedules?
Press the PROGRAM button to access settings. Use the arrows to set the start time, duration (1 min to 3 h), and days of the week. Confirm with OK.
What if the timer does not turn on?
Check that the batteries are inserted correctly (observe polarity). If the screen remains blank, replace the batteries. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
How to clean the filter?
Unscrew the filter cap located at the water inlet. Remove the filter and rinse it with clean water. Replace it and screw firmly. Perform this operation at least once a month.
Can I use the R7060 with a rain barrel?
Yes, provided that the water pressure is sufficient (minimum 0.5 bar). If the pressure is too low, the timer may not open properly.
What to do in case of a leak at the connections?
Check that the O-rings are in good condition and properly positioned. Retighten the connections manually without forcing. If the leak persists, replace the O-rings.
Is the timer frost resistant?
Yes, it has an anti-freeze function that automatically closes the valve when the temperature approaches 0°C. However, it is recommended to bring it indoors in winter.
How many zones can it manage?
This model is designed for a single garden zone. For multiple zones, you will need a multi-zone timer or an additional device.
How to reset to factory settings?
Press and hold the PROGRAM and OK buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. The display will show CLR then default settings will be restored. Batteries must be installed.
