HOLDING AND OPERATING THE DEVICE
When working, always stand behind the device and hold it with both hands on the handles.
Attention! Do not use this router with one hand. Attention! This router can jump up or jump forward unexpectedly. Suppose the teeth hit something hard buried in the ground, such as large stones, roots, or trunks, if the ground is too hard or if the ground is frozen. Always hold the device with both hands. This device clutch is deactivated by default (disengaged). To activate the clutch and transfer the engine power to cutters, the clutch lever must be tightened. The clutch lever has a safety block to prevent the accidental coupling of the device. To act on the clutch, you must first remove the safety blockage by pushing the blocking device (W1) downwards with one finger and, without releasing, pressing the clutch lever (W2).
WORKING WITH THE MILLING DEVICE
Start the device according to the instructions in the user manual. Cutter in motion pull the device forward; you must maintain the appropriate speed more or less by nailing the spur into the ground. Move the cutter slowly in the right rhythm so that the blades have time to chop the soil. If the tiller sinks and does not move, move the handlebars left and right until released. When working on a slope, always stand a little higher on the hill so that the device is always below you. SUGGESTED USE A tillage depth between 15-20 cm is usually sufficient, and it is rarely advantageous to work deeper. Shallower tillage is often recommended for areas with little precipitation to retain moisture. Secondary tillage is less shallow than the first, so 2 crossed passes on the ground are sufficient.
Perform regular inspections of the device to ensure efficient operation of the device. We recommend that you take the device to your service technician for complete maintenance. Before performing maintenance or repair work on the device, ensure that the engine is switched off and remove the spark plug. Only perform device maintenance when the device is on a level, cleared surface. ATTENTION! Do not change the device or the milling cutters. Improper use of these elements can lead to HEAVY PERSONAL DAMAGE OR DEATH. Use only suitable replacement parts for this device to ensure the device's proper function. This replacement can be found at the official dealers of the device. Other spare parts can lead to risks, damage to the user, persons, and the device. Do not change anything at the carburettor. Bring your device for maintenance if necessary. The carburettor's adjustment is complicated and should only be done by the technical service. Incorrect adjustment of the carburettor can cause damage the engine and invalidate the warranty. Removal of safety devices, improper maintenance, or replacement with non-original spare parts can cause injury.
Carry out the following maintenance and care measures when you are finished with the device to ensure this device's smooth operation in the future. GENERAL CHECKPOINTS
Make sure that the milling tools are firmly connected to the gear unit. If necessary, tighten the milling tools. Check the edge of the cutting edges and the milling tools' condition. Replace the milling cutters if necessary. It is recommended that an authorized service technician carry out this work. CLEANING Keep the device clean, especially the area around the fuel tank and the air filter areas. Attention! The cutters are sharp and can cause injuries. Wear protective gloves when cleaning the device. Clean the milling area:
Switch off the engine and let it cool down.
Remove dirt and brush off residues with a scraper and brush.
After you have removed the residues, you can use a water jet for a more thorough cleaning.
Direct the water jet onto the milling tools. Never point the jet at the gear or engine. If water gets into the ignition system or the carburettor, damage and defects will occur.
If you have used water for cleaning, the engine will get wet unintentionally. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes until the engine's heat evaporates the remaining water in the engine's area. Other areas: Clean the rest of the device with a cloth moistened with water. Never use gasoline, solvents, detergents, water, or other liquids.
CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL
Place the device on a horizontal, clear, level surface.
Unscrew the cover of the oil filler neck.
Clean the oil dipstick with a cloth.
Insert the dipstick and unscrew the oil filler cap.
Unscrew the plug and check the mark left by the oil on the dipstick. The mark left by the oil must be between the minimum and maximum mark.
If the mark is below the minimum, add a little more oil and check again.
If the mark is above the maximum, you must remove the engine housing oil. To do this, tilt the device and drain some oil (place a container at the end of the pipe so that no oil from the device reaches the floor).
REGULAR MAINTENANCE Perform regular inspections of the device to ensure the device's effective operation and avoid the risk of damage to the device and injury to the user. Spare parts should be purchased from the official service dealer. Other spare parts can lead to the risk of accidents, injury to the user, and damage to the device. Action Before each use After the first 2 Hours of use Every 25 operating hours Every 50 operating hours The first use of the season After the last use of the season Check the device for loose parts
Change the engine oil
Clean the air filter
AIR FILTER The dirt in the air filter will reduce the performance of the device. Check and clean this element. Note: The engine should never be operated without the installed air filter. CHANGING THE engine OIL Carry out the oil change only when the engine is still hot. ATTENTION! Do not pour used oil into a pipe system or onto the ground. The contamination of groundwater and groundwater level is subject to high fines. There are unique collection points at filling stations. If not, your local authority will provide you with relevant information. Note: There are two methods available for draining the engine oil. You can drain the oil by unscrewing the drain plug (Y2) at the bottom of the filling nozzle or by using a FUXTEC suction pump (not included) and sucking the oil through the filling nozzle (Y1) of the device. We recommend collecting the oil for easy implementation, cleaning, and safety.
Place the device on a horizontal, level, and transparent surface. Drain the engine oil:
When sucking out the used oil: Remove the engine oil plugs (Y1) and suck out the engine oil by inserting the engine oil cleaner downwards.
If you choose to drain the oil by draining (Y2) through the drain plug, please note the flow path that the oil takes into a large container to collect all the oil before it reaches the floor.
We recommend that you place a large plastic cover on the area where you change the oil so that no oil gets to the floor. Once the work area is prepared, remove the filler cap (Y1), remove the oil drain plug (Y2), and tilt the device slightly so that the oil comes out and drains into the container.
After all, oil has been drained, turn the drain plug back into the device.
