Frequently Asked Questions - EHC2200 EAS Electric

Is it normal to smell smoke during first use?
Yes, slight traces of smoke or an odor may occur during first use. This is normal and will disappear quickly. Ensure you do not sit on the appliance while it is producing heat.
What should I do if the display shows 'E1' or 'E2'?
The codes E1 (short circuit) and E2 (open circuit) indicate a temperature sensor fault. In this case, the appliance stops operating and no buttons respond. Unplug the appliance and contact after-sales service.
Why does the appliance display 'FF' and stop working?
The code FF indicates overheat protection: the ambient temperature has exceeded 50 °C. The appliance shuts down automatically. To reset it, turn off the appliance and let it cool down before turning it back on.
How to activate the child lock?
Press and hold the + and - buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds, whether the appliance is on or off. Repeat the same action to deactivate the lock.
How to set the off or on timer?
In operating mode, press the Timer button, then use the + and - buttons to set the delay (0-24 hours). Confirm by not pressing any button for 5 seconds. In standby mode, the same procedure sets an on timer.
How to clean the heater?
Use a soft dry cloth to remove dust. For deeper cleaning, wipe the exterior with a damp (not wet) cloth soaked in mild soapy water, then dry with a dry cloth. Never use abrasive products or immerse the appliance in water.
Is the remote control included?
Yes, the appliance comes with a remote control whose buttons have the same functions as the control panel. It allows you to turn on/off, change mode, adjust temperature or timer, and activate oscillation.
How to start oscillation?
In operating mode, press the oscillation button to activate the back-and-forth movement. Press again to stop.
The appliance turns off by itself after a while, is that normal?
Yes, when the timer is not set, the appliance shuts down automatically after 12 hours of inactivity. This is a safety feature. You can also use the timer to set an operating duration.
What does 'Smart' mode mean?
Smart mode automatically adjusts the heating power: if the ambient temperature is more than 2 °C below the setpoint, the appliance heats in high heat mode. If it is close (less than 2 °C), it switches to low heat mode. If it is above, the heating stops.
