USER MANUAL EHR2500 EAS Electric
TECHNICAL PARAMETERS Dear user, Thank you very much for purchasing an EAS Electric Smart Technology product. We hope that you get the best results from your product, which has been manufactured with high quality state-of-the-art technology. Please read this manual and all other accompanying documents carefully before using the product and keep them for future reference. If you give the product to another person, you must also give the manual to that person. Follow all warnings and instructions in the user manual.
Warning: This product is only
suitable for use in well-insulated spaces or occasional use.
Basic precautions, including the following, should be followed when using any electrical appliance: If the mains cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified service techni- cian or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experi- ence and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concer- ning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the applian- ce and shall not clean or service it. The heater must not be placed imme- diately under a power socket. Do not use this heater near bathtubs, showers or swimming pools.
Warning: To avoid overheating,
do not cover the appliance.
V.1 Children under 3 years of age should be kept away from the appliance unless continuously supervised. Children be- tween the ages of 3 and 8 years can only switch the appliance on and off if they are correctly positioned and supervised and instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards of its use. Children aged 3 to 8 years should not plug in, adjust, clean or service the appliance.
Warning: Some parts of this product
can become very hot and cause burns. Particular care should be taken if chil- dren or vulnerable persons are present. This radiator is filled with an exact quantity of special oil. Repairs requiring opening of the oil containers must only be carried out by the manufacturer or its service department, who should be contacted if any oil leakage is detected. When disposing of the appliance, the regulations for the disposal of hydro- carbons must be followed.
V.1 Do not place the heater near furnitu- re, curtains or other electrical applian- ces. Keep the heater at least one metre away from the wall and any other objects (furniture, curtains and fabrics or plants). DISPOSAL: Do not dispose of this product as unsorted municipal waste. It is necessary to collect this waste separately for special treatment.According to the European directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), household appliances cannot be disposed of in the normal municipal waste bins; they must be collected separately to optimise the recovery and recycling of their components and materials and to reduce the impact on human health and the environment.The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol is marked on all products to remind the consumer of the obligation to separate them for separate collection. V.1OPERATION Verifications prior to use
1. The power cable must not be damaged or broken.
2. Check that the current rating of the socket corresponds to the
requirements indicated in the specification table and that it is properly grounded; if not, contact an electrician to replace the socket. Operating instructions Power On/Standby: Plug in the appliance. A long beep will be heard. Press the ON/OFF button to enter the high power heating operating state; then press it again to enter standby mode. Mode selection: With the radiator switched on, press MODE to select the opera- ting mode of the appliance (high, medium, low and ECO). Temperature setting: With the radiator on, press or to set the temperature. You can press and hold these buttons to increase or decrease the temperature faster. After setting the temperature, if no action is taken within 5 seconds the temperature setting screen will be exited. In initial use or if the appliance is reset by turning off the power, the radiator operates according to the factory settings: 35°C temperature and high power. Power-on timer: Press the button in standby mode to activate the timer. Set the time by pressing and , or by holding them down to make the figures change faster. When the set time is up, the radiator will start and emit a long beep. Shutdown timer: With the radiator on, press the button to set the shutdown timer. Set the time by pressing and , or by holding them down to make the figures change faster. When the set time has elapsed, the radiator will go into standby mode. The timer setting range is 0-24 hours, and each press of the or buttons increases or decreases by 1 hour. When the displayed value is 0H, you can press the button to set it to 24H, and if 24H is displayed, you can press to change it to 0H. If the timer is set to 0H, this function is cancelled. After setting the time, press the timer or MODE button to confirm, or if no action is taken within 5 seconds, you will exit the timer setting mode. If you have already set a timer, press the standby key to enter standby mode and cancel the timer. Once the timer has started, press the button to check the remaining time of the timer and reset it. During the set time, the machine can be switched on or off with the temperature control without affecting the programming. The set timer will be cleared in case of power failure.
V.1Child lock: With the radiator on or in standby and no child lock already set, press the button and MODE for 3 seconds to activate the child lock. To deactivate it, press and MODE for 3 seconds at the same time. Note: When the child lock is active during operation, only the standby button and the combination to deactivate the child lock are valid. The lock is cancelled when the device is switched to standby. With the child lock active and the radiator in standby, all operations are invalid except deactivating the child lock. Memory func tion: When the machine is in standby mode and it is activated, it starts to work again with the state in which it was configured before entering standby. If there is a power cut while the machine is running, when the power is restored, it will operate in the state it was in before the power cut. If the power is cut off while in standby mode, it will operate at the factory default settings (high power at 35ºC) when the power is restored. Note: The memory function is not valid for the child lock; if there is a power failure this function will not be restored. Protection and safety functions: When the indoor ambient temperature Th exceeds 50°C in standby or operating mode, all operation is disabled, the machine emits 10 long beeps and the digital display shows "FF" flashing at a frequency of 1Hz for 75 seconds. While this protection is active, even if the ambient temperature drops below 50°C, operation cannot continue and can only be resumed by switching the machine off and on again. Shutdown: With the radiator running, press the standby key on the control panel to enter standby mode, unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool down completely before placing it in a stable place. Note: Before using the machine for the first time or when connecting it to the socket, check that both the plug and the socket are in good condition. Method of inspection: Plug in the appliance and start operation. After about half an hour, switch it off and unplug it. Check if the plug is hot, and if it is hotter than about 50°C, replace it to prevent the plug from being burnt out or to prevent it from catching fire due to poor contact.
V.11. The electric radiator should be cleaned regularly to remove dust from the surface of the fins, as this may affect the radiation efficiency.
2. Switch off the power and allow the radiator to cool down. Remove
dust with a clean cloth, without detergents or abrasive products.
3. Do not scratch the flat surfaces with sharp tools or objects, to
avoid damaging the paint layer and causing corrosion.

This appliance has a two-year repair guarantee, from the date of sale, against all malfunctions originating from manufacturing, including labor and spare parts. To justify the purchase date, it will be mandatory to present the invoice or purchase receipt. This guarantee will only be effective in Spain. GUARANTEE EXCLUSIONS
1. Remote controls, drain intake rubbers, dockings and
door seals, weather stripping.
2. Damage to enamels, paints, nickel plating, chrome plating,
oxidation or other types of aesthetic parts or components that do not affect the internal functioning of the appliance.
3. Damage to wear parts due to use, corrosion or oxidation, whether
caused by normal use of the appliance or accelerated deterioration due to unfavorable environmental or climatic circumstances. Not suitable for outdoor use.
4. Damage to fragile pieces of glass, glass ceramic, plastics, handles,
baskets, doors or light bulbs when their failure or breakage is not attributable to a manufacturing defect.
5. Faults produced by fortuitous causes or accidents of force majeure,
or as a consequence of abnormal, negligent or inappropriate use of the device.
6. Civil liabilities of any nature.
7. Consequential damage to the appliance as long as it has not been
caused by an internal malfunction.
8. Maintenance or upkeep of the appliance: periodic reviews,
adjustments and greases.
9. Faults that accessories and complements, adapters, external cables,
bags, spare parts of all kinds, lamps, as well as any part considered consumable by the manufacturer, may suffer.
10. Faults caused by incorrect or illegal installation, inadequate
ventilation, lack of grounding in the home, power disturbances, inappropriate modifications or use of non-original spare parts.
11. Appliances used in industrial applications or for commercial purposes.
12. Appliances with illegible or altered serial number.
V.113. Defects or breakdowns produced as a result of fixes, repairs, modifications, or disassembly of the installation of the device by the user or by a technician not authorized by the manufacturer, or as a result of manifest non-compliance with the manufacturer's instructions for use and maintenance.
14. During the warranty period it is essential to keep all manuals
together with the equipment. If the equipment is sold, donated or given away, the manual and all related documents must be given to the new user. If any of these are lost, their replacement cannot be claimed.
15. Faults that have their origin or are a direct or indirect
consequence of: contact with liquids, chemicals and other substances, as well as conditions derived from the climate or the environment: earthquakes, fires, floods, excessive heat or any other external force, such as insects, rodents and other animals that may have access to the interior of the machine or its connection points.
16. Damages derived from terrorism, riot or popular tumult, legal
or illegal demonstrations and strikes; facts of actions of the Armed Forces or the State Security Forces in times of peace; armed conflicts and acts of war (declared or not); nuclear reaction or radiation or radioactive contamination; vice or defect of the goods; facts classified by the Government of the Nation as "national catastrophe or calamity".
