CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS TECHNICAL PARAMETERS Dear Customer, Congratulations on purchasing this equipment. Please read this manual carefully and take care of the following hints to avoid damages. Any failure caused by ignoring the mentioned items and cautions mentioned in the instruction manual are not covered by our warranty and any liability. Should any changes be made to this manual, the latest version will be updated on our website. IMPORTANT: This product is only suitable for well insulated spaces or occasional use.

11SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Read the manual completely before using the product. Before using the fan heater, check whether the voltage indicated on the rating plate matches that of your mains supply. Do not pull the cable if you want to disconnect the plug from the power source. Always pull the plug itself. Never block the fan of the appliance. This could damage the appliance or result in a fire or electric shock. Never block the air inlet of the fan heater. Disconnect the plug from the power source if the appliance is not being used. Do not leave the fan heater unattended. This appliance emits a lot of heat during operation. Therefore, touch only the opera- ting controls. ln case of doubt, use heat- resistant gloves. Keep flammable materials such as pillows, paper, clothing, curtains or other highly flammable objects away from the fan heater. Caution: The fan heater is not suitable to be used in confined areas if they are occupied by persons who are not able to leave the room or the vehicle by themselves.

V.1 This appliance is intended for personal use only. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children without super- vision. This appliance can be operated by children from 8 years of age and above, as well as by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or who lack knowledge or experience, if they have been supervised or instructed regarding safe use of the appliance, and understand the resultant dangers. Children should not play with the appliance. CAUTION: Some parts of the product may become very hot and cause burns. Be very careful if children or frail persons are present. Never immerse it in water for cleaning. Wipe the body with a dry cloth. Place the appliance at least 30 cm from other objects. Use this product only on a flat surface. Disconnect the appliance from the mains when it is not being used or when cleaning it. Keep the product at least 90 cm away from flammable materials, such as furniture, curtains, bedding, clothing or paper.

V.1 Never allow the cable to come in contact with hot or damp surfaces. Do not turn on the appliance if you find a defect in the power cord. Contact the manu- facturer of the product in such cases. The appliance should always be placed on a flat, level surface using the tilt protection at the bottom. Do not use the heater in the immediate vicinity of a bathtub, a shower or a swim- ming pool. lf the mains power cable of this appliance is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service person- nel or by an equally qualified person, so as to prevent any risk. Children younger than 3 years should be kept away from it, unless they are under constant supervision. Children between 3 and 8 years may switch the appliance on and off only when they are supervised or have been instructed concer- ning the safe use of the appliance and have understood the resulting risks, provided that the appliance is placed or installed in its normal usage position.

V.1 Children between 3 and 8 years should not insert the plug into the socket, should not regulate the appliance, should not clean and/or carry out user maintenance. The heater should not be placed immedia- tely below a wall socket. Never cover the openings of the appliance.

V.1lnitial use Take the appliance out of the package and remove ali the packaging material. Place the fan heater on a level and flat surface so that the tilt protection at the bottom is not actuated. Connect the appliance to a 220-240V AC socket. To start the fan heater, press the "Power" button on the control panel or on the remote control. The fan heater now starts to heat. Press the "Tempe- rature" button to adjust the desired temperature. The display shows the set temperature above the button on the fan heater. The heater will start heating if the set temperature is higher than the roam temperature. The fan heater has 3 heating medes. - ECO Mode - Heat setting 1 - Heat setting 2 You can navigate through the different heating modes by pressing the "Mode" button. FUNCTIONS ECO Mode The default setting of the temperature in this mode is 24ºC when the ECO energy saving mode is selected. Based on the current temperature and the target temperature of 24ºC, the heater automatically selects the heating level to reach the target temperature. Remote control Use 2x 1,5V AAA batteries for the remote control. All the functions that can be performed using the remote control have the identical function as those on the control panel of the fan. Overheating generally occurs only if one of the openings of the fan heater is covered, blocked or clogged. This appliance has overheating protection. The heater switches off automatically once the overheating temperature is reached. If the appliance is therefore turned off for this reason, disconnect the plug and wait for 30 minutes. Then try to switch it on again. Please contact customer service if this does not happen. After switching off the appliance, the fan continues to run in cooling phase until it completely shuts down. Disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning or main- tenance. Do not use any aggressive or chemical cleaning agents. Use a dry, soft cloth. Ensure that you do not touch the heater elements when cleaning. You have to open the flap at the back to clean or replace the dust filter. Remove the dust filter, clean it and put the filter back.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Safety instructions and disclaimer Never try to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The appliance is not approved for outdoor use. Therefore please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures. Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the appliance for damage before using it. The appliance should not be used if it has been subject to impact or has been damaged in any other manner. Please comply with the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in the user manual. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repair or modification to the appliance, which is not carried out by the original supplier, will void any warranty and liability claims. The appliance should be used only by persons who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the appliance may be changed without any special prior notification.
