How to use ECO mode on the EHF205RC?

ECO mode sets the default temperature to 24°C and automatically adjusts the heating level to reach this temperature economically. To activate, press the Mode button until ECO is selected.

Can I use this heater in a bathroom?

No, the manual advises against use in the immediate vicinity of a bathtub, shower, or swimming pool. This product is designed for indoor dry use only.

How to clean the dust filter?

Unplug the appliance, open the rear flap, remove the filter, clean it with a dry cloth or soapy water (dry thoroughly), then replace it. Do not touch the heating elements.

What to do if the appliance suddenly turns off?

This may be due to overheating or tipping over. Unplug the cord, wait 30 minutes, check that the openings are not obstructed and that the appliance is on a flat surface. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

How to set the temperature?

Press the Temperature button on the control panel or remote control to set the desired temperature. The display shows the set value. If it is higher than the ambient temperature, the heating activates.

The remote control does not work, what to do?

Check that the batteries (2x AAA 1.5V) are inserted correctly and are not depleted. Point the remote control towards the appliance. All functions are also available on the control panel.

What is the safety distance to be observed?

Place the appliance at least 30 cm from other objects and at least 90 cm from flammable objects such as furniture, curtains, bedding, clothing.

How to use the timer function?

Press the Timer button to set a duration (30 min, 1h, 2h, 4h). The display shows the remaining time. The appliance will turn off automatically at the end of the countdown.

Is the heater suitable for children or elderly people?

Yes, but with caution: some parts become very hot. Supervise children and elderly. Never leave the appliance unattended and keep it out of reach of children under 3 years.

What is the warranty of this product?

The commercial warranty is 2 years from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects (labor and parts). It is valid only in Spain. The invoice or receipt is required.

Any failure caused by ignoring the mentioned items and cautions mentioned in the instruction manual are not covered by our warranty and any liability. IMPORTANT: This product is only suitable for well insulated spaces or occasional use.

■ Before using the fan heater, check whether the voltage indicated on the rating plate matches that of your mains supply.
- Do not pull the cable if you want to disconnect the plug from the power source. Always pull the plug itself.
- Never block the fan of the appliance. This could damage the appliance or result in a fire or electric shock.
■ Never block the air inlet of the fan heater.
- Disconnect the plug from the power source if the appliance is not being used. Do not leave the fan heater unattended.
This appliance emits a lot of heat during operation. Therefore, touch only the operating controls. In case of doubt, use heat-resistant gloves.
- Keep flammable materials such as pillows, paper, clothing, curtains or other highly flammable objects away from the fan heater.
- Caution: The fan heater is not suitable to be used in confined areas if they are occupied by persons who are not able to leave the room or the vehicle by themselves.

• Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children without supervision.

Initial use

Take the appliance out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Place the fan heater on a level and flat surface so that the tilt protection at the bottom is not actuated. Connect the appliance to a 220-240V AC socket.

To start the fan heater, press the "Power" button on the control panel or on the remote control. The fan heater now starts to heat. Press the "Temperature" button to adjust the desired temperature. The display shows the set temperature above the button on the fan heater. The heater will start heating if the set temperature is higher than the roam temperature. The fan heater has 3 heating medes.

You can navigate through the different heating modes by pressing the "Mode" button.

FUNCTIONS

ECO Mode

The default setting of the temperature in this mode is 24^ C when the ECO energy saving mode is selected. Based on the current temperature and the target temperature of 24^ C, the heater automatically selects the heating level to reach the target temperature.

Remote control

Use 2x 1,5V AAA batteries for the remote control. All the functions that can be performed using the remote control have the identical function as those on the control panel of the fan.

Oscillation

To turn the oscillation on or off, press the "Oscillation" button on the control panel at the top of the fan or on the remote control.

Timer function

You can enable the timer function by pressing the "Timer" button. The currently configured timer stage is displayed.

Tilt protection

Thanks to the tilt protection at the bottom of the heater, it switches off automatically if the appliance tilts over. Please place the appliance only on even and flat surfaces.

Overheating

WARNING: The heater should not be covered to avoid overheating.

Overheating generally occurs only if one of the openings of the fan heater is covered, blocked or clogged. This appliance has overheating protection. The heater switches off automatically once the overheating temperature is reached. If the appliance is therefore turned off for this reason, disconnect the plug and wait for 30 minutes. Then try to switch it on again. Please contact customer service if this does not happen. After switching off the appliance, the fan continues to run in cooling phase until it completely shuts down.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning or maintenance.

Do not use any aggressive or chemical cleaning agents. Use a dry, soft cloth.

Ensure that you do not touch the heater elements when cleaning.

You have to open the flap at the back to clean or replace the dust filter. Remove the dust filter, clean it and put the filter back.

Safety instructions and disclaimer

Never try to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The appliance is not approved for outdoor use. Therefore please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures. Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components.

Check the appliance for damage before using it. The appliance should not be used if it has been subject to impact or has been damaged in any other manner. Please comply with the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in the user manual. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repair or modification to the appliance, which is not carried out by the original supplier, will void any warranty and liability claims. The appliance should be used only by persons who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the appliance may be changed without any special prior notification.

COMMERCIAL GUARANTEE CONDITIONS

This appliance has a two-year repair guarantee, from the date of sale, against all malfunctions originating from manufacturing, including labor and spare parts. To justify the purchase date, it will be mandatory to present the invoice or purchase receipt. This guarantee will only be effective in Spain.

GUARANTEE EXCLUSIONS

1. Remote controls, drain intake rubbers, dockings and door seals, weather stripping.
2. Damage to enamels, paints, nickel plating, chrome plating, oxidation or other types of aesthetic parts or components that do not affect the internal functioning of the appliance.
3. Damage to wear parts due to use, corrosion or oxidation, whether caused by normal use of the appliance or accelerated deterioration due to unfavorable environmental or climatic circumstances. Not suitable for outdoor use.
4. Damage to fragile pieces of glass, glass ceramic, plastics, handles, baskets, doors or light bulbs when their failure or breakage is not attributable to a manufacturing defect.
5. Faults produced by fortuitous causes or accidents of force majeure, or as a consequence of abnormal, negligent or inappropriate use of the device.
6. Civil liabilities of any nature.
7. Consequential damage to the appliance as long as it has not been caused by an internal malfunction.
8. Maintenance or upkeep of the appliance: periodic reviews, adjustments and greases.
9. Faults that accessories and complements, adapters, external cables, bags, spare parts of all kinds, lamps, as well as any part considered consumable by the manufacturer, may suffer.
10. Faults caused by incorrect or illegal installation, inadequate ventilation, lack of grounding in the home, power disturbances, inappropriate modifications or use of non-original spare parts.
