USER MANUAL Hotel Block Cutter Boska

PROFESSIONAL Hotel Block Cutter PROFESSIONALEN INSTALLATION & USE Place the Hotel Block Cutter (henceforth HBC) on your working surface. The anti-skid feet work best on sturdy, clean, dry, smooth and non-textured surfaces. The included hex screwdrivers can be used to replace and tighten the cutting wires.

The Cheese Blocker Pro is suitable for cutting all semi-hard cheeses. The rind of the cheese needs to be removes before use. The CBP is also suitable for cutting Tofu, butter, or products with a similar consistency.

1. Place the block of cheese on the partitions.

2. Pull down the handle once. You now have blocks of cheese.

  • Do this for both sides of the partition.
  • Once all partitions are in position and fastened, the tubes and partitions can be placed on the base.

PLACING OR REPLACING PARTITIONS

  • Place the partitions on the tubes, and slide them to the desired position.
  • In case you want to relocate the partitions, first loo- sen the bolts on the front and back of the partition.

1. Using the Hex (M5) screwdriver, loosen the

screw in the tensioner, so the pawn is in the lowest position.

2. Place both tighteners on the frame as

shown. Use the ruler to align the wire. Then place the wire over both pawns.EN

3. Use the Hex screwdriver (M5) to fasten the

screw. By doing so, tension is restored.

4. Be aware! The wire should be tight, but

when pressed against with a finer, it should bend slightly.

REPLACING THE CUTTING WIRE

1. Using a hex screwdriver (M5), loosen the

screw, like shown below.

2. This will relief the tension on the wire,

allowing you to remove the wire.

3. Place the new wire, then fasten the screw

using the Hex screwdriver, untill the tension is restored.

  • Be aware! The wire should be tight, but when pressed against with a finer, it should bend slightly.
  • Be aware! Make sure the wires are placed against the head of the pawn, to all wires are aligned.CLEANING
  • Clean the HBC daily after final use.
  • The HBC needs to be cleaned between switching to a different type of cheese to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Use hot water, a soft brush and a neutral cleaning detergent, such as green soap or dish soap, to clean the HBC. It is also possible to clean the CBP using a high-pressure cleaner.
  • Do not use water hotter than 70°C (160°F) to prevent damage to the plastic parts.
  • Never use hard brushes, scratching materials, soda- chlorine- disinfectant or aggresive cleaning detergents for cleaning.
  • Flush the HBC with water after cleaning. Dry the machine thouroughly to prevent deterioration of parts due to dust and moisture.
  • The partitions are removable and easily cleanable seperately. WARNINGS
  • The CBP is used exclusively for cutting semi-hard cheeses without rind.
  • Using cheeses with rind can cause breakage of the cutting wire, or severly reduce their lifespan.
  • Using harder cheeses can cause breakage of the cutting wire, or severly reduce their lifespan.
  • It is highly recommended to cut less than 25 slices at once. Be aware that as the number of pieces increases, the resistance becomes higher and a breakage will occur faster. EDITIONS The partitions are available in thickesses 8mm (X62810) and 12mm (X62812). There are also partiti- ons available with cutting guide.
