How to adjust the grind fineness?

Turn the adjustment knob (4) to the right for a finer grind, to the left for coarser. Perform this adjustment when the motor is running to avoid jamming.

How to use manual mode?

Press the selection button (6) to set to 'M'. Place the portafilter on the fork (8) and push it against the actuator (9) to start dispensing. Release to stop.

How to use timed mode?

Select 'T' with button (6). Set the dispensing time with the recessed knob (7) (turn to increase/decrease dose). Place the portafilter on the fork to activate dispensing; it stops automatically after the programmed time.

What to do if the motor stops during use?

This is likely the thermal protection cutting off the motor. Unplug the appliance immediately, let it cool down, then resolve the cause (e.g., overload, obstruction) before restarting.

How to clean the grinder?

Before any cleaning, unplug the appliance. Frequently clean the air intake (10) with a brush and vacuum. For the base, use a damp cloth. Never use water jets or steam cleaners.

When should the burrs be replaced?

It is recommended to replace the flat burrs every 250 kg of ground coffee. Contact a specialized technician for this operation.

What type of coffee to use?

Only use coffee beans intended for espresso. Never insert metal objects or other foods into the hopper.

Can I leave the grinder plugged in permanently?

It is not recommended to leave the appliance plugged in unnecessarily. Unplug it when not in use, especially at night or during prolonged absence.

What to do if the dispensing spout is blocked?

Turn off and unplug the appliance before any intervention. Use a brush or toothpick to gently unblock the spout (10). Never insert utensils while the motor is running.

How to install the portafilter fork?

The fork (8) is removable and can be positioned in one of the two holes provided depending on the type of portafilter. Simply insert it until it stops.

APPLICATIONS AND USE

• This grinder dispenser has been devised for professional use by trained personnel.
• The grinder/dispenser must be used only for the application for which it was designed; that is, grinding roasted coffee beans. Any other use must be considered improper and therefore dangerous.
• The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for damages deriving from improper, erroneous or unreasonable use of the machine.
• The appliance must not be used by children or people with reduced, physical, sensorial or mental abilities. It must also never be used by people without the necessary skills and experience unless under supervision or during training. Do not allow children to play with this equipment at any time.
• The machine is not designed for use in extreme environmental conditions and in any case at temperatures outside the -5^ to +40^ range.
• The user must respect the general safety regulations in force in the country in which the machine is installed as well as the rules of common sense, and shall be responsible for ensuring that periodic machine maintenance is correctly performed.
• The persons installing and using the machine and performing machine maintenance shall inform the manufacturer of any defects or damages due to wear that might jeopardize the original safety features of the machine.

• After having plugged the appliance in, push the tab (3) at the bottom of the coffee bean container (2) to close it.

- Remove the cover (1) from the container (2) and fill it with coffee beans.

- According to the filter holder used, insert the removable fork in one of the two available positions.

- In MANUAL mode (activated by pressing selection key (6) "M" position) rest the filter holder bowl on the fork (8) and insert it to engage with the filter holder catch, pushing it forwards until it comes into contact with the button (9) to expel the ground coffee from the spout (10).

- When the filter holder bowl is moved away, coffee dispensing will stop.

- In TIMER mode (activated by pressing the selection key (6) "T" position), the dispensing time for ground coffee can be set using the pull out dial next to the button (6), which needs to be turned to increase or reduce the amount of coffee ground.

- This version of the appliance will continue to dispense coffee when the filter holder cup is moved away, since dispensing will now depend on the set time.

CLEANING

Cleanliness is a basic aspect for the proper functioning of the coffee grinder with a dosing unit. A neglected coffee grinder with dosing unit may have a negative impact on coffee dispensing as well as on the accuracy of dose and grinding. Before cleaning, make sure the appliance is unplugged.

Often clean (several times a day) the dispensing spout through a brush and a vacuum cleaner.

In case such operations are not carried out, the aromatic oily part contained in coffee may turn rancid with negative consequences on coffee, furthermore the lack of cleanliness may jeopardize regularity of the dose itself.
