You have made a good buy with the purchase of this mobile air conditioner. The appliance is professionally designed and will provide you with a maximum of comfort for many years provided it is used as described in these instructions. It pays, therefore, to read this documentation carefully and to keep it safe for future reference.
Before using the air conditioner
- Always place the mobile appliance on a firm surface.
- Connect the appliance to the correct type of socket-outlet.
- Fit the exhaust pipe to the air conditioner.

Important safety instructions
Prevention of accidents
● Make sure that the appliance is correctly connected to the right power supply.
● Make sure that the appliance is correctly installed as described in these instructions.
● Young, old and disabled persons are not always aware of the hazards which may arise when using electrical equipment. For this reason you should never allow anyone from these categories to operate the appliance unsupervised.
● Never use the appliance near bath-tubs, showers or wash-basins.
- Do not place any objects over the air grilles.
- Keep a gap of at least 50 cm between the appliance and the nearest wall.
- Close the curtains or adjust the blinds accordingly during the sunniest periods.
- Keep the air filter clean. Under normal conditions the filter should be cleaned once a month. Shorter cleaning intervals may be necessary under certain circumstances, however, because the air filter is designed to trap even small particles of dirt. It is strictly prohibited to operate the appliance without a filter.
● To begin with, set the fan speed to HIGH and the thermostat to maximum cooling. Later you can set the fan to LOW and the thermostat to the temperature of your choice.
Further points to note:
● Never use this air conditioner with an extension cable or an auxiliary plug connector which is connected to another appliance.
- In cooling mode the warm exhaust air has to be conveyed outdoors through the pipe. A hole in the wall or window is needed in order to use the supplied exhaust set.
● Always pull out the power plug when the appliance is no longer in use or when you want to carry out any maintenance work.
● Avoid bringing the appliance into contact with chemicals.
● Maintenance and repairs are to be left strictly to qualified electricians or air conditioning specialists.

Press the A button to raise the temperature and the V button to lower the temperature.
2. Sleep function
If the SLEEP button is pressed in cooling mode, the temperature will be raised 1°C above the set temperature after 1 hour.
3. Fan
The fan speed can be regulated with the HI and LO buttons.
4. Timer
The timer can be set for a range of 1 to 12 hours. If the timer is not set at all, the appliance will switch off automatically after 24 hours.
5. Display window
The display shows: the room temperature the time setting the temperature setting
6. Swing
If you press the SWING button, the vertical air grille will swing from side to side for uniform distribution of the air. The horizontal air grille has to be adjusted by hand.
7. Functions
Press this button to select the following settings: Automatic, Cooling, Air Circulation.
8. ON/OFF
Use only this button to switch the appliance on and off.
Putting the air conditioner into operation
POWER PLUG Insert the power plug in a socket-outlet.
STARTING Press the ON button to start the appliance. The current room temperature appears in the display (5). If the temperature is over 23 °C, the cooling function will start automatically. If the temperature is below 23 °C, only the fan will run.
SETTING
A FUNCTION Press the FUNCTION button to select the required setting: - Automatic - Cooling - Ventilation
SETTING THE
TEMPERATURE
AND TIME Press the (button to raise the temperature and the - button to lower the temperature. Press the TIMER button to set the operating time with the buttons A and V.
SWITCHING OFF Press the ON/OFF button for the appliance to be switched off immediately.
● To protect the compressor it is triggered with a delay of 3 minutes after the appliance is switched on. The same applies when the appliance is switched off.
● The function settings are cancelled when the appliance is switched off or when there is a power failure. You will need to reset the functions as required.
- The cooling system switches off when the room temperature is lower than the value set on the thermostat. Air circulation / ventilation continues in accordance with the settings. If the room temperature rises again, the cooling function will be reactivated.
SETTING THE AIR FLOW DIRECTION
The horizontal air grille has to be adjusted by hand.
1. Adjusting the horizontal air grille:
The horizontal direction of the air current is controlled by the horizontal air grille. This grille has to be adjusted by hand.
2. Adjusting the vertical air grille:
Press the SWING button for the vertical air grille to move back and forth from side to side.
External air grille:
Horizontal adjustment by hand.
Internal air grille:
Automatic vertical adjustment by pressing on the SWING button.

FITTING THE EXHAUST PIPE
The exhaust pipe can be between 300 mm and 1500 mm long. Kinks and sharp bends in the pipe should be avoided to guarantee that the exhaust air can flow out unobstructed. If not, there is a risk that the appliance as a whole will overheat and cut out. This may result in damage to the appliance.
Caution!
The length of the exhaust pipe is calculated to match the technical specifications of the appliance. Do not lengthen the pipe or the appliance may develop a fault.

Draining off condensed water
ALL THE CONDENSED WATER MUST BE DRAINED OFF BEFORE TAKING THE APPLIANCE OUT OF OPERATION OR MOVING IT TO ANOTHER POSITION.
When the condensed water tank is full, the ON/OFF switch will light up and the compressor will switch off automatically. The cooling function is then interrupted and only the fan motor will continue running. When this happens you must empty the condensed water tank as follows:
- Switch off the appliance and pull out the power plug.
- Holding the tank by its handle, pull it carefully up and out.
- Empty the tank.
- Reinsert the empty tank.
- Restart the appliance.
- Reset the air conditioner to the required function.
Maintenance
- First pull out the power plug in order to rule out all risk of electric shocks and fire.
- Use only mild detergent and a soft cloth to clean the filter and the housing. Never use aggressive agents, alcohol or paint thinner for cleaning purposes. Wait for the filter to dry before reinserting it.
- At the end of the season, empty the water tank, wind up the power cable, clean the filter and the housing, reinsert the filter when dry, and store the appliance ideally in its original box. Do not place any heavy objects on the appliance.

TROUBLESHOOTING
No faults should arise provided the appliance is operated correctly. In the event of any trouble, please check the following points before contacting the customer service department:

Never place any electric tools in your household refuse.
