The B-Speech® RTX1 offers the possibility to transmit stereo audio signals via Bluetooth® from devices such as hi- systems, TV, MP3, mobile phones or other output equipment to Bluetooth® receivers within 30 metres (transmitter mode). Moreover, it is also able to play data received via Bluetooth® in complete stereo quality using your customary devices such as speakers, hi- systems, or wired GB6 7 LED Functions Status LED Pairing Red and blue blinks alternately Rx Mode Connecting Blue blinking Rx Mode Connected Blue is permanently on Tx Mode Connecting Red blinking Tx Mode Connected Red is permanently on Not Connected Red or blue blinks every 2 sec. Searching Red or blue blinks every 0.5 sec. Get started Attach the antenna Screw the package included antenna on to the rear of the RTX1 antenna terminal by rmly turning it to the right. Set up the antenna and set it to the desired position. Note: Different antenna positions can affect wireless working range. Check which position gives you the best result. headsets (receiver mode). Receiver mode (Rx) The RTX1 can be used to receive audio data from A2DP capable Bluetooth® devices in transmitter mode and outputs them through the RCA or 3.5mm jack connectors. Application examples: Mobile phone > RTX1 > Hi-Fi System Computer > RTX1 > Speakers BT Transmitter > RTX1 > Wired Headphones
1. Connect the required cables into the rear sided RCA or 3.5mm jacks of RTX1 marked with
2. Switch on RTX1 and select the receiver mode by pressing the Rx button. Your RTX1 is in pairing
mode and will search for other Bluetooth® transmitters which are in pairing mode.
3. Use your mobile phone, Computer or other Bluetooth® transmitter to search for Bluetooth® audio
devices. The Bluetooth® should indicate that it has found “RTX-1”. Conrm that you want to pair it with RTX1 together. If you are unsure how to go through the pairing process, please refer to the user manual of your Bluetooth® device or the installed Bluetooth® software stack of your Computer. When asked for a pin key, enter “0000” and conrm to connect it to your RTX1. When using a Bluetooth® transmitter without display, simply turn on pairing or connect mode on your Bluetooth® transmitter and wait a few seconds until it established the connection with RTX1.
4. You can now enjoy your favourite music wirelessly. To control music playback you can use the
multifunction button on the RTX1 to play/pause music streaming. Note: If you lost the connection or temporarily disconnected your mobile phone/Computer, shortly press the multifunction button on the RTX1 to re-establish the connection. To use the play/pause feature your Computer/mobile phone must support the AVRCP prole. Connect the AC adapter Plug the AC adapter into the wall socket. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the rear side of the RTX1. Connect audio cables When using the RTX1 as a receiver for audio, plug the RCA or 3.5mm jack cables into the ports labelled “Receiver Out”. When using the RTX1 as a transmitter for audio, plus the RCA or 3.5mm jack cables into the ports labelled “Transmitter In” Power On/Off To power on RTX1 press and hold the multifunction button for at least 3 seconds. The LED will turn on. To power off RTX1 press and hold the multifunction button for at least 4 seconds. The LED will turn off. Pairing Your RTX1 needs to be paired to a Bluetooth® device before it can be used. This is a two part process; one part is carried out on the RTX1 and the other is carried out by the Bluetooth® device you want to connect to. Note: Various Bluetooth® devices use different methods of pairing. With your RTX1 turned on, press the Rx or Tx Button to enter pairing mode. The LEDs will alternate rapidly between blue and red which indicates that the RTX1 is in pairing mode. Transmitter mode (Tx) The RTX1 can be used to transmit audio signals from devices connected to the RCA or 3.5mm jack connectors to A2DP capable Bluetooth® devices in receiver mode. Application examples: Television > RTX1 > BT Receiver Game Console > RTX1 > BT Headset Computer > RTX1 > BT Speaker
1. Connect the required cables into the RTX1s rear sided RCA or 3.5mm jacks marked with “Tx Input”.
2. Switch on RTX1 and select the transmitter mode by pressing the Tx button. Your RTX1 is in pairing
mode and will search for other Bluetooth® receivers which are in pairing mode.
3. Use your Bluetooth® receiver and search for the “RTX-1”. Conrm to pair it with RTX1. If you are
unsure how to go through the pairing process, please refer to the user manual of your Bluetooth® receiver. When asked for a pin key, enter “0000” and conrm to connect it to your RTX1. When using a Bluetooth® receiver without display, simply turn on pairing or connect mode on your Bluetooth® receiver and wait a few seconds until it established the connection with RTX1.
4. You can now enjoy your favourite music wirelessly over your Bluetooth® device.
