Initial operation
- Connect the included power cable with the socket on the backside of the clock and then connect the cable to a fitting power source.
- All icons on the LCD screen will light up for 3 seconds and you will hear a signal tone. The clock will detect the indoor temperature and then start to search for the DCF77- time signal.
- Remove the plastic strip from the battery compartment to put the battery into operation. The battery is used as back-up.
Note:
Please use the original power adapter included with this product or a power adapter with the same specifications.
Battery changing
Open the battery compartment cover and insert 1 x CR2032 batteries by observing the correct polarity ("+") and "−" marks) into the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment cover again.
Reception of the radio signal
- Press and hold the “ ” button for 2 seconds to start the DCF77 time signal search manually. The “ icon is flashing, which indicates that the DCF77 signal search is active. The dynamic display indicates that the signal is normal.

: Time signal search is set to OFF
- At 1:00 /2:00 / 3:00 (AM), the clock automatically carries out the synchronization procedure with the DCF77 signal to correct any deviations to the exact time. If this synchronization attempt is unsuccessful (the radio mast icon disappears from the display), the system will automatically attempt synchronization at the next full one hour. This procedure is repeated automatically up to total 5 times.
- During DCF77 signal reception, press the “ ” button once to stop searching for the time signal.
Notes:
- A flashing radio mast icon indicates that the DCF77 signal reception has started
- A continuously displayed radio mast icon indicates that the DCF77 signal was received successfully
- We recommend a minimum distance of 2.5 meters to all sources of interference, such as televisions or computer monitors
- Radio reception is weaker in rooms with concrete walls (e.g.: in cellars) and in offices. In such extreme circumstances, place the system close to the window.
During the DCF77 reception, only the "SNOOZE" and "—" button have a function, other button operation have no function. If you want to carry out other functions of operation, please press the
" button to exit the DCF77 reception.
- During time signal reception, the backlight and projection will be temporarily turned off. The brightness will be restored after the signal search is finished.
Manual time setting
Press and hold the" (SET) button for 2 seconds and the RCC
ON/OFF display starts to flash. Press the “+” or “-” button to set the radio-controlled time function to ON or OFF.

Press the “ ” button to confirm this setting point and continue to the next setting point. The sequence of setting points is as follows: RCC ON/OFF 12/24Hr Time zone Hour Minute Date format (D/M or M/D) Year Month Date Weekday language

Press the " " button to confirm the last item to end the setting
procedures and the clock will return to the normal display mode.
Notes:
- If there is no button operation within 20 seconds, the clock will automatically quit the setting and return to normal time display.
While setting the value, press and hold the “+” or “-” button to quickly adjust the setting values. - When choosing the 12Hr format, if “PM” is displayed before the hours, it means that the hour is post meridiem.
- The 7 languages that show week abbreviations are listed below:

Activating/deactivating the daily alarm
- Press the “ ” button once and the LCD will display the icon, (A) which means that only alarm 1 is activated.
- Press the “+” button again and the LCD will display the (2) icon, which means that only alarm 2 is activated.
- Press the “ ” button again and the LCD will display the and (1) icons, which means that alarm 1 and alarm 2 are both activated.
- Press the “+” button again and the LCD will display no icons, which means that alarm 1 and alarm 2 both deactivated.
Daily alarm setting

Press the “ ” (ALARM) button once to display alarm 1 time. Press the “ ” button again to display the alarm 2 time. Press the “ ” button again to return to normal time display.

When alarm 1 is displayed, press and hold the “ ” button for 2 seconds and the hour of the alarm 1 time starts to flash. Press the “ ” or the “ ” button to set the required hour.
- Press button “ ” to confirm your setting and the minute of the alarm 1 time starts to flash. Press the “ ” or the “ ” button to set the required minute.
- Press button “ ” to confirm your setting and to end the setting of alarm 1.
- When alarm 2 is displayed, press and hold the “ ” button for 2 seconds and the hour of the alarm 2 time starts to flash. Press the “ ” or the “ ” button to set the required hour.
- Press button “ ” to confirm your setting and the minute of the alarm 2 time starts to flash. Press the “ ” or the “ ” button to set the required minute.
- Press button “ ” to confirm your setting and to end the setting of EN7
alarm 2.
Notes:
- If there is no button operation within 20 seconds, the clock will automatically quit the setting and return to normal time display.
While setting the value, press and hold the “+” or “-” button to quickly adjust the setting values. - The alarm will sound for 2 minutes if you do not deactivate it by pressing any button. In this case the alarm will be repeated automatically after 24 hours.
Turn OFF the alarm sound
- When the alarm tone is ringing, press any button except the "SNOOZE" button to stop the alarm sound.
- The alarm will sound again on the next day.
Snoopze function
When the alarm tone is ringing, press the "SNOOZE" button to end the alarm sound and enter snooze mode. The alarm signal sounds again after a 8 minute snooze duration.
Temperature in ^ C or ^ F
Press the " button once to switch the temperature unit to ^ C or ^ F .
Backlight and projection function DC-adapter mode

When using the power adapter, the backlight and projection will always light up. Press the “ ” button to adjust the backlight brightness or turn it off. The setting order for the brightness is: light medium dark OFF light medium dark......

Press the " " button and the projection will rotate by 180 degrees.

Notes:
- When the projection is triggered, the projection distance is about 2 meters.
- Continuous projection is only possible by using the power adapter.
- When receiving radio waves, the backlight and projection will be temporarily off, and the brightness will be restored after the signal search is finished.

Environmental reception effects
The clock obtains the accurate time with wireless technology. Same as all wireless devices, the reception is maybe affected by the following circumstances:
- long transmitting distance
- nearby mountains and valleys
- near freeway, railway, airports, high voltage cable etc.
- near construction site
among tall buildings -
inside concrete buildings

near electrical appliances (computers, TV's, etc) and metallic structures
- inside moving vehicles
Place the clock at a location with optimal signal, i.e. close to a window and away from metal surfaces or electrical appliances.
Precautions
- This main unit is intended to be used only indoors.
- Do not subject the unit to excessive force or shock.
- Do not expose the unit to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, dust or humidity.
- Do not immerse in water.
- Avoid contact with any corrosive materials.
- Do not dispose this unit in a fire as it may explode.
- Do not open the inner back case or tamper with any components of this unit.
Batteries safety warnings
- Use only lithium batteries, not rechargeable batteries.
- Install batteries correctly by matching the polarities (+/-) .
- Always replace a complete set of batteries.
- Never mix used and new batteries.
- Remove exhausted batteries immediately.
- Remove batteries when not in use.
- Do not recharge and do not dispose of batteries in fire as the batteries may explode.
- Ensure batteries are stored away from metal objects as contact may cause a short circuit.
