Frequently Asked Questions - MST55 PureGuardian

What type of water should be used in the PureGuardian MST55 inhaler?
Use only distilled water. Using mineral, purified, or boiled water may damage the device and void the warranty.
Can I add essential oils directly to the water?
No, never add oils or additives to the water tank. Use the essential oil compartment with the included pad to add a few drops of pure essential oil.
How long does an inhalation session last?
It is recommended to inhale for 2 to 5 minutes per session, not exceeding 20 minutes. You can repeat 2 to 3 times a day depending on symptom persistence.
How to clean the inhaler and mask?
Empty and dry the reservoir after each use. Clean the mask with soapy water. Do not dishwash the device and do not use abrasives.
What to do if the red 'Empty' light comes on?
The red light indicates insufficient water level. Fill the reservoir with distilled water to the maximum level.
What does the flashing green light mean?
A flashing green light means you are using non-distilled water or the device is tilted. Replace the water with distilled water and straighten the device.
Can I use the inhaler in a tilted position?
No, always use the inhaler in an upright position. Tilting may cause hot water spillage and damage the device.
How to start the drying cycle manually?
In standby mode or after emptying the water, press the low temperature button and hold it for 5 seconds to start the drying cycle.
The inhaler emits a humming sound, is this normal?
Yes, a humming sound while the orange light is on is normal because the drying cycle is in progress. Let the fan finish the cycle.
What is the warranty period for the PureGuardian MST55 inhaler?
The limited warranty is 1 year from the original purchase date. It covers defects in materials and workmanship.
