How to assemble the vacuum cleaner?

Insert the suction hose into the hose connection until it clicks. Attach the floor brush to the lower end of the telescopic tube and the handle to the upper end. Adjust the tube length by sliding the locking mechanism.

How to empty the dust container?

Press the release button to open the bottom of the container over a trash can. Remove the filter before emptying. Reassemble in reverse order, making sure the arrow on the filter points towards the handle.

How to clean the main filter?

Remove the filter assembly from the container. Disassemble it and tap to remove dust, then wash with clean water. Dry completely before reassembling. Ensure the arrow on the filter points towards the handle.

What to do if suction power decreases?

First check if the container is full or if the filters are dirty. Clean or replace the filters (main, motor, air outlet). Also check that the hose or tube is not blocked.

Can I vacuum liquids with this vacuum cleaner?

No, the vacuum cleaner is designed only for dry dust. Never vacuum liquids, hot ashes, or flammable substances, as this could damage the appliance or cause a fire.

How to adjust the suction power?

Use the +/- buttons located on the appliance (buttons G) to adjust the power. You can also open the auxiliary air deflector on the handle to reduce power on carpets.

How to use the different brushes?

The floor brush has a rocker switch: press to vacuum hard floors, lift for carpets. The round and square brushes are for upholstered furniture, the dust brush for folds and crevices, and the hard floor brush for parquet floors.

How to store the vacuum cleaner after use?

Turn off the appliance and unplug it. Wind the cord by pressing the retraction button (H). You can hang the telescopic tube with the floor brush on the back of the vacuum cleaner for vertical storage.

What to do if the cord does not rewind properly?

Ensure the cord is taut during retraction. If the problem persists, check that the cord is not twisted or jammed. Never use excessive force.

Assembling the vacuum cleaner

Fig. 1 Insert the suction hose into the hose connection. Make sure that it has clicked into place.
Fig. 2 Place the floor nozzle on the lower end and the suction tube handle on the upper end (side with locking mechanism) of the telescopic tube.
Fig. 3 Adjust the telescopic tube to the desired length by sliding up the locking mechanism and then pushing the telescopic tube out or squeezing it together.

Use of the accessories provided Floor nozzle

Fig. 4 To vacuum hard floors, press the toggle switch down.
Fig. 5 To vacuum carpeted areas, press the toggle switch again in order to retract the brushes.

Upholstery nozzle round/square

Hard floor brush

Operation

Fig. 9 Pull out the connection cable to the desired length and insert the power plug into a receptacle.

Fig. 10 Press the On/Off switch to turn the vacuum cleaner on/off. Use the power control buttons +/- to adjust then desired power.

Tip: If the vacuum can only be guided with difficulty over carpeted areas due to excessively high suction power, decrease the suction power by opening the auxiliary air flap on the handle.

Fig. 12 Wind the power cable around the cable storage by pressing the automatic cable retraction switch. While you are doing this keep the cable taut, if possible.

Parking system for pauses in vacuuming

Fig. 13 You can store the telescopic tube with the floor nozzle on the vacuum cleaner for short pauses in vacuuming. Insert the floor nozzle with the parking attachment into the parking system.

Transport and storage

Fig. 14 To carry your vacuum cleaner grasp it by the handle. To store your vacuum cleaner, the suction tube with the floor nozzle can be mounted on the back of the vacuum cleaner in an upright position.

Cleaning and care

Warning!

• When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning mechanisms and tools may scratch the surface(s).
• Never immerse any electrical parts of the product in water or in other liquids during cleaning. Never place it under running water.

Emptying the dust canister

Fig. 15 If the suction power diminishes, the dust canister must be emptied and the filters must be cleaned. We recommend to empty the dust canister outside of the house.
a) Remove the suction hose from the vacuum cleaner. Press both dust container release buttons and remove the container by bringing it forward.
b) To empty the dust canister, simply press the release on the bottom so that the bottom of the canister opens and the dust falls out. Hold the dust canister over a rubbish container whilst you are emptying it.
c) Loosen the filter lid and remove the entire filter insert from the dust canister. Empty remaining dust from the dust canister.
d) Re-assemble all of the components that have previously been removed. Assembly is carried out in reverse order. When put in the filter insert, be aware that the arrow of the filter points to the handle of the container.

Cleaning the main filter

Fig. 16 a) Loosen the filter lid and remove the entire filter insert from the dust canister. Break down the filter into all of its individual parts. Tap the filter to remove the dust and clean all other parts with water and dry them thoroughly.

b) Re-assemble all of the components that have previously been removed. Assembly is carried out in reverse order. When inserting the filter insert, be aware that the arrow of the filter points to the handle of the container.

Cleaning the motor filter

Fig. 17 Remove the motor filter and tap it to remove the dust. Then re-insert it. Reassemble all of the components that have previously been removed. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.

Warning!

Never use the vacuum cleaner without a motor filter, as otherwise, the motor will soon get dirty and will be subject to wear. If the motor filter gets dirty, the suction power will diminish.

Cleaning the exhaust air filter

Fig. 18 Open the flap, take the filter out and tap it to remove the dust. Assembly is carried out in reverse order. Insert the filter in the right direction so that the correct side is facing the motor.
