USER MANUAL ION ORBIS Windows & Door Sensor Niceboy
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION Niceboy ION ORBIS Windows & Door Sensor detects the open and close state of doors or windows through the dis- tance between the sensor unit and the magnet. The sensor uses Zigbee protocol which consumes low energy, but requires Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge to Connect. No tools are required for installation, and simply peel and stick. This product is for indoor use only.
1. Before activating the accessory, please make sure you
have the Niceboy ION app downloaded and Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge installed.
2. Insert the battery inside the sensor unit (CR2 type).
Then hold the reset button for 5 seconds until the indicator light starts ashing rapidly.
3. There are two methods to add the device
a. Open the Niceboy ION app, tap “Home” and then open Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge. Click on „Zigbee devices list“, then on „Add device“ and then on „Add new devices“. The app will start looking for nearby devices. Once the device is found, it will appear on the screen. Click on the device and add it to your app. b. Open the Niceboy ION app, and then tap “+” in the top right corner to enter “Add Device page“. Select “Sensors”, then click on „Door & Widnow sensor“ and choose the Zigbee gateway (Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge). Conrm that you inserted batteries, reseted the device and that its blinking rapidly (step 2). The app will start looking for a new device. Once the device is found, just add it to the app.22
4. New device will be visible in Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge
and also on the page „Home“. INSTALLATION

recommended to install the sensor unit on the unmovable surface, the magnet on the movable surface, and make sure the installation gap is less than 15 mm when doors or windows are closed).23 WARNINGS
