USER MANUAL ION ORBIS Water Sensor Niceboy

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION Niceboy ION ORBIS Motion sensor detects water leak and ooding and monitors the status of the water leak. When the water leak or ooding occurs, it sends an instant aler notication via Niceboy ION app. It also works with other smart home accessorie to automate your home. The sen- sor uses Zigbee protocol which consumes low energy, but requires Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge to Connect. No tools are required for installation, simply peel and stick.

1. Before activating the accessory, please make sure you

have the Niceboy ION app downloaded and Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge installed.

2. Insert the battery inside the sensor unit (CR2032

type). Then hold the reset button for 5 seconds until the indicator light starts ashing rapidly. The reset button is hidden under the water drop icon.

3. There are two methods to add the device

a. Open the Niceboy ION app, tap “Home” and then open Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge. Click on „Zigbee devices list“, then on „Add device“ and then on „Add new devices“. The app will start looking for nearby devices. Once the device is found, it will appear on the screen. Click on the device and add it to your app. b. Open the Niceboy ION app, and then tap “+” in the top right corner to enter “Add Device page“. Select “Sensors”, then click on „Water sensor“ and choose the Zigbee gateway (Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge). Con- rm that you inserted batteries, reseted the device and that the light indicator is blinking rapidly (step 2).20 The app will start looking for a new device. Once the device is found, just add it to the app.

4. New device will be visible in Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge

and also on the page „Home“. INSTALLATION

• Keep new and used batteries away from children.

• If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from chil- dren.22

• If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

• Disposal of a battery into re or a hot oven, or mecha- nically crushing or cutting of a battery, that can result in an explosion.

• Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment that can result in an explo- sion or the leakage of ammable liquid or gas.

• A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure that may result in an explosion or the leakage of ammab- le liquid or gas.

• Improper handling (prolonged charging, short circuit, breakage by another object, etc.) may result in, for example, re, overheating or battery leakage.
