How to connect the ORBIS Bridge sensor to the app?

Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and Bluetooth is enabled. Plug in the bridge, wait for the red and blue LEDs to light up. Open the Niceboy ION app, tap '+' in the top right corner, then follow the instructions to add the device. If the blue LED doesn't blink quickly, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds.

What is the maximum range of the sensor?

The indoor range without obstacles (walls) is approximately 90 meters. With obstacles, the range may be reduced. For stable communication, place the bridge in the center of the area to be covered.

How many devices can I connect to the bridge?

The bridge supports up to 128 Zigbee or Bluetooth devices simultaneously.

How to reset the ORBIS Bridge sensor?

Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds until the blue status LED starts blinking quickly. If the LED does not blink, press the button once, then press and hold again for 5 seconds.

What do the LEDs mean?

The red LED shows Wi-Fi status: steady = connected, blinking = ready to connect, unstable = disconnected. The blue LED shows device status: steady = active not connected, blinking = pairing mode, unstable = connected.

Can I use the sensor without the app?

No, the Niceboy ION app is required for initial setup and control. Without the app, the bridge cannot be connected to your Wi-Fi network or paired with other devices.

What to do if the app does not detect the bridge?

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge is a smart home control center, which connects Zigbee 3.0 and Bluetooth devices to Wi-Fi network. Users can design and implement smart application scenarios by adding ZigBee devices.

QUICK SETUP

1. Plug the hub into the socket and wait until red and blue indicator lights turn on. Make sure your mobile Phone is connected with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and that Bluetooth is on.
2. Hold the reset button for 5 seconds until the status indicator light (blue light) starts flashing rapidly. If the blue light wont start flashing rapidly, press once the reset button and then hold the reset button for 5s.
3. Open the Niceboy ION app and then tap “+” in the top right corner to enter “Add Device page”. The app will find the Bridge automatically. If not, select “Sensors”, then click on „Bridge“. Confirm that you reset the device and that its blinking rapidly (step 2). The app will start looking for a new device. Once the device is found, just add it to the app.

1. To ensure steady communication between the hub and its accessories, it is recommended to install the hub at the center of the area where the accessories are located.
2. Depending on the local environment, the indoor transmission distance reaches up to 90 meters between the hub and bridge accessories without barriers, such as walls.
